Tina was so helpful, informative and knowledgeable about the area and marina. She emailed us the layout of the marina before we arrived so we could plan our arrival. She met us at the pump out dock and then at our slip. She was attentive with any concerns or questions. We had a spot/slip that was so peaceful and quiet. There is plenty of area to walk around or bike (they have complementary bikes). There is a beautiful light house replica to walk around and admire the view. Laundry machines are new and bathrooms are clean and nice. This marina is a hidden gem. Tina makes it even nicer. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Dan was extremely helpful/confident in safely guiding us into the tricky harbor inlet/channel. He ensured our boat was secured and powered up b4 he left us to get settled. The facilities (including the Captain’s Lounge) were clean and beautifully decorated. They have 6 white rocking chairs on a wide front porch overlooking the harbor. The have several sets of front load washing machines/dryers which are free to guests. They have a courtesy car as well. The main street (Front Street) runs along a fabulous town is less than a half a mile away. There was a small wooden boat show during our visit. We wish we could of stayed longer. Wouldn’t miss this marina. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Ian (Dock Master) and crew could not have been more helpful. We came into the marina in high winds. Ian guided us through the inlet and had us safely secured without a problem. We ended up having a current issue with the boat when leaving in the am-Ian came in (early) to help us get out of a tough situation safely. He and his team r personable and professional-we r truly grateful for alll they did for us while we were there.
Ms Sam, Chris and rest of staff were so helpful and informative about the marina and island. We were able to use one of the complimentary golf carts to tour the island-Driftwood Beach is a must see. They also have plenty of bikes to tour the islands on well paved bike paths. The restaurant at the marina was so good we went both nights during our stay. Would definitely stay here again and probably for a longer stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. We found the fuel to be one of the lowest prices we have seen. The dock staff and reservation staff were all helpful, friendly and professional.
We stayed here when traveling south and this time traveling north. This place is run with efficiency, friendliness and with the focus on customer service. We call it the Marriott on the water. It is just off the ICW-floating docks, a gorgeous area to sit and watch the ICW traffic go by while sitting on comfy and fashionable lounge chairs/couches. They even have umbrellas and a food truck that serves delicious food. There is an Italian market that is not to missed about 1.3 miles away-right near a West Marine. The sidewalks to stores etc are nicely paved and safe. Would definitely stay here if you have the opportunity. John, Josh and Hunter are a dynamic team!
Mike is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable-the area has some beautiful historic homes to the right as you leave the marina. The marina is tucked away from the ICW and very quiet. Pump out at dock if needed. There is canvas maker on site. Fabulous barbecue area with an outdoor sink. Docks are being upgraded with new planks. Nice place to dingy around, kayak or paddle board. Enjoyed our stay.
Excellent stay, everyone was so professional and helpful at Marina. We had a few things that needed fixed and they could not have been more responsive. Max orchestrated quick repairs and Sarah did the same with our docking needs. Christian took us too Stop and Shop for needed provisions. We look forward to returning.
