Marina is in great shape but is still a work in progress. Pool and Laundry not yet built but docks, power. Water in excellent condition. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Free shuttle into Hope Town. We walked and they were more than happy to come and pick us up. Great protection from wind and currents from all directions. The tiki bar and food truck were great.
Nice Marina with good facilities POSITIVE: Docks in good condition, pool nice, tiki Bar and Restaurant a little pricey and we ordered a melon salad starter and a pizza….the pizza arrived 20 mins before salad. Food was good and I appreciate that server was new but I believe this was a kitchen/ planning error. Staff were friendly and helpful. NEGATIVE: Very busy with charter boats. We were next to fuel dock and they crammed a lot of boats on. Narrow channel in was always busy with boats coming and going, especially weekends. Expensive. We felt a car was necessary as there is not a lot around the area.
I liked the mooring balls and the fact that they help the sea bed to recover. It's nice that the BNT is striving to protect the natural habitat whilst still catering for boaters. I did not like the number of boats that refuse to use the balls and insist on anchoring just outside the field despite balls.being available. In many cases they were anchored in front of the field near the beach. There did not seem to be anybody policing the area and unfortunately there are disrespectful boaters out there. It was only $29 a day for a week,little to pay to help protect what we all come to see and enjoy!!
Docks need a little work but staff are great. Nice calm night after last xoue of days. Nice Marina overall.
Nice Marina, did not use facilities apart fromaundry which was fine and a good price. It was great to have a loaner vehicle to top up supplies. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was good just wish they put prices on menu ( too many marked MKT).
Nice Marina, Helpful staff and great access to restaurants and shopping. Tried the publix delivery service for first time and it worked great.!!
Nice marina, it was our first time and just stayed 1 night. Dock staff were helpful Docks are in good condition. Will always be a little tricky getting in and off dock inthis location with strong current and wind. Did not use any of the facilities. Restaurant a short walk away
Nice Marina, docks in good shape. We were on a face dock so got quite a bit of rocking action from boats and ferries. Wind also from NE which created water disturbance and a lot of noise. Restaurant was good , busy on weekend but live music was good and finished at a reasonable time. The Market store does good breakfasts and stocks some basic food items if a little pricey.
Another great visit lasting longer than we had anticipated.Can't thank the staff enough for their help with every aspect of the stay. Ian is extremely help as always working us in with our very flexible departure dates. Pete thanks for the invite to Sunday football at the yacht club, Bob thanks for golfing recommendations. Jack got always being willing to help. The 2 Brads and Andy for the quick responses to any requests including the dreaded pumpouts! All dockhands were.very helpful getting on and off docks. Facilities were good with 2 restaurants on site and many others close by. Hope to see you all again next year.
Very nice marina.Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and can't beat free laundry. There are a good selection of restaurants on site.
Nice Marina with good clean facilities, staff very pleasant but need a little training on how to tie a boat. Strong currents always make this a challenge docking and previously dockhands were proficient on this occasion not so much.
We had to stop here due to damage to the boat and we extremely grateful to the staff for getting us in and working with our ever fluctuating timetable. We were delayed in getting help for repairs due to Thanksgiving closures and the staff worked with us to figure things out. Facilities are great with a beautiful pool and excellent restaurant on site. Thank you again, we appreciate it.
We stayed at the marina from middle of April for a month due to various repairs that were needed. We found the Dockmaster Thomas to be extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. He assisted in getting a great mechanic to help with our hydraulics and was consistently helpful in our never ending changes to departure dates. The docks are a little rough in places but proved to be very secure during the storms we went through. The onsite restaurant is great, and the shop very well stocked with a huge variety of stuff from hardware, alcohol and food. We had no issues with depth of water. Easy access to Beach but if you want to travel further afield a car will be required for the bigger stores.
This is a great facility with clean washrooms,laundry and 2 pools and restaurants. The staff were as helpful as they could be especially Tyler and James who often went out of his way to help. I think they are suffering a little from staff shortages but managing the best they can. If I had any suggestions it would be to improve communication between the marina staff in the dockside office and those in the hotel, requests often did not get passed on. Overall a good marina with a very useful free bus into Key West, driven by very helpful drivers who are prepared to drop you at supermarjets on route and West Marine if you need supplies. Will return soon.
Dock staff great, docks in excellent condition
Second time here, dockhands very helpful as always, very patient with our difficulties docking. Docks are good and it was a very easy departure next morning. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open on Wednesday but a short walk to Beach area provided us with refreshment. No doubt we will be back on our return journey.
