Fireworks at the bridge on our final nite was a treat. Generally quiet at the marina. 2sets of laundry but 0.3miles from dock to shore. Seeing rat traps on the docks were concerning but never saw a critter. Neighbors were very friendly. Pump out was not working and neighboring marinas would NOT reciprocate with their mobile service. Gated but often chained OPEN. Walking to down town area was long enough to Uber majority of our stay at least one direction.
Staff was available to assist upon arrival. Very pleasant and efficient. Location is centered around all the action. Ferry horn snd music we’re not an issue when we turned in. All around good experience.
Very pleasant stay. The staff was great to work with and on dock to assist. Walking to the Calvert marina was well worth the time. Beautiful waterfront walking in the area as well as several dining choices. Even came across a neighbor offering fruit from their tomato garden to anyone passing by. Beautiful area to visit.
Marina good. Not so much a city girl though. Staff was very busy when we arrived. All details quickly provided via cell phone
Great management of this location!! We were pleasantly greeted, assisted with fuel and docking. We could not have asked for better service. Warning if walking west, ask the marina the shortest route as GPS didn't help us here.
Arrival directions were provided with reservation. We were assigned to the outer doc on any spot between or behind the existing boats. The power pedestal is too close for this set up...when incoming boats ignore the no wake rule. Walking to some beautiful areas, homes, beaches. Not much as far as dining (just the one at the facility) or provisioning. Not sure where the showers / restrooms were as we never saw any staff during our stay.
Great details on where to doc. Help offered if need on the landing. Doc neighbor stepped in to help. Very pleasant. The docs are right on Rt 6 between New Bedford and Fairhaven. within a few steps was a great playground for the kids, a marine supply store, one restaurant. The facility is gated. 12 minute walk west to down town NB, but you are on the highway / off-ramp. There is a sidewalk, but crossing when needed is a bit intimidating for families. Also there is a KEY CARD worth $20 if you don't return it. We left before they were open and got hit with the $20 while underway to next destination. The correction was handled without issue, as we HAD turned it in, but recommend watching for posting errors.
Very pleasant stay. Gated marina with great location to dining, shopping or just walking the waterfront. 2-hour parking for your guests right out front or there is a garage down the road. Very helpful staff.
Location is great as you are in the heart of NBRPRT. Walking path along the coast will lead you to shops, dining, entertainment. Along the waterfront there is access to restrooms. Showers are listed, but I didn't look for them. If needed there is docking assist but call ahead if needed to ensure someone is waiting. If docking near the corner / inlet for the dinghy's / smaller boats, expect some drifters to come your way when the current is flowing in that direction.
