We stay here often on our way to and from Florida. Always a nice experience. However, if I have any concerns it would be the two commercial vessels docked at both dingy docks. Also a few more cleats on the dock would help accommodate the morning dog walk dingoes. Thanks, Captain Mike
Great service. Nice restaurant. Good place to visit. Will definitely stay again.
It was a late arrival and an early morning departure this time. Would definitely stay here again. Remember to follow the channel markers not your chart plotter entering.
Everything was great. The purpose for our visits as to bring our dog to a veterinarian for a problem. The owner loaned his personal vehicle to bring him to the vet. Thanks, Captain Mike
This time we stay on the dock because there were no mooring balls available for our size boat. Staff was very helpful with docking, fueling and relocation us to my spot on the dock. Spent extra day here to provision for the next leg. A+ raining. Thanks, Captain Mike
We stayed in the mooring field which is directly off the beach in the downtown section of town. We only traveled to the Municipal Municipal Marine once to pickup guests. The dingy ride was a very long wet ride (approximately one mile?) We saw no reason to make this trip again even though the bay calmed down during our stay. The staff was very helpful during our short visit. The city dock near the casino has a small dingy dock which we used for the balance of our stay. Lots of restaurants and shops in this area. We would visit again but may opt to anchor just outside of the mooring field as many local visitors did while we were here. The only drawback to using the dingy dock is that it is limited to four hour in a 24 hour period. However I don’t think they enforce this. However, I wouldn’t leave it there overnight. The dock is closed from 3:00am to 7:00am. That would be very easy to enforce. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return again.
Dock master met and helped us dock our boat. Gave us the rundown on services and a 10% discount for their onsite restaurant. We did not eat there but it looked like the house was full.
We have stayed here in several occasions. Nice restaurant and a good marine store available onsite.
Although they were closed for the holiday, the Michele the Dockmaster called me and advised me that I could stay on the gas dock. She would send out an attendant if we needed any help. We did not. Again having stayed here on several occasions we knew the dock. They get a five star for having a staff member call us. Would have been nice to hear from someone at the previous night stay in Beaufort moorings.
The dock hand was on waiting at our assigned dock to assist us with docking. He gladly secured our boat, hooked up the electric and asked if we needed anything else.
