Clean Marina with a great staff, a few very good restaurants in walking distance. We will be back! We returned back here for 4 nights the first week of August 2023, rented a car from Enterprise 1 mile up the road and explored Savannah & Tybee Island with family that flew in for our stay. Also recommend Erica Davis restaurant within walking distance, excellent food. Best shrimp and grits my wife and I ever had. Also Driftaway Cafe for dinner a 5 mile drive and we'll worth it. Great Stay at Bahia Bleu.
Had a great time here. Some construction going on adding a new Mega Dock, was not much of a inconvenience. Used our e-bikes to get around town and the long dock. Friendly staff and facilities were clean. Shuttle was available to town and grocery stores but we did not take advantage on our 3 night stay. We will be back!
Love this marina, first stopped here in 2014, Michelle and her staff are first rate. We try to make it here every year. Convenient shopping within walking distance, Piggly Wiggly, West Marine, Ace Hardware and CVS all less than a mile away. Great Farmers market every Saturday just 1 mile away. Great stopover for transients.
Nice small dock, with full amenities with the Marriott. The electric was fixed the day prior to our arrival. Only 50 amp service at the pedestals. Inside dock is close to the shoreline and could be tricky maneuvering in and out of there with a 35 to 45 ft boat. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely wil use this dock again.
We have stayed here at Downtown Beaufort Safe Harbor close to a dozen times since 2011. With our boat and on Several Deliveries. One of our favorite stops along the ICW. Convenient to downtown shops and nice waterfront park. Current can be tricky docking. You should plan your arrival and departure according to wind and tide conditions. We will continue visiting Beufort SC, whenever we are in the Area.
Great 3 night stay here at Skull Creek Safe Harbor. New concrete floating docks. Clean facilities and accommodating staff. Our E-Bikes got us around the island with no problems. Bike friendly Island. We will be back.
We loved it here, my wife and I have cruised the entire East Coast. South from Cape Cod mostly along the ICW. This was our first time in Jekyll Island and one of our favorite stops. Staff was Super friendly and accommodating. Concrete floating docks. Clean rest rooms and showers and a excellent restaurant on the property. Free bikes to use to explore the Island which is the best way to get around Jekylll and also a Golf cart free of charge with a 2 HR max time limit. We will be back here most definitely.
Stayed here for 8 nights was charged a night when we booked 2 weeks prior to our arrival. Upon arrival the remaining balance was paid. After we departed South our Credit Card was charged and additional $127.71. The office blamed a flaw in Dockwa system of charges. First time I ever experienced this with Dockwa. I think it's BS on Ashley Marinas end. WONT BE BACK HERE AGAIN!!! Besides the long walk down the Tdock the bathrooms weren't working nor was the pump out system. And only 1 washing machine was operable. Place went downhill since I stayed here last!!
