Exceptional marina. We stayed at Safe Harbor Stirling for the first time on this trip. The facilities are immaculate. Nice floating docks, clean bathrooms, beautiful landscaping. Ryan, Nick, and their team couldn't be nicer and more professional. We are looking forward to visiting again.
We recently picked up a mooring in Breton Cove from the Newport Harbormaster. We were grateful to have gotten one of the last moorings, since nothing was available in the inner harbor. The problem is that this location is exposed to swells from traffic in the East Passage. Large freight ships pass by in the middle of the night. It's not a comfortable and well protected location. We got hit with a swell in the middle of the night that literally caused one of my kids to fall out of bed and water to come into our side port hole. Avoid unless it's your only option.
One of the best marinas on a recent trip through the area. Beautiful place with excellent facilities and well maintained moorings. We loved our stay. The 4th of July fireworks were spectacular. We look forward to coming back.
Saybrook Point is a beautiful location with top notch amenities. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The marina is in excellent condition. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars, because the marina is not so well protected. The swells from the sound and passing boats ricocheted throughout the marina even on a very calm day. I would avoid the outside of the fuel dock and would be apprehensive in any kind of wind and weather even on the inside. Aside from this challenge, I highly recommend a stay here. We had a very nice experience and will be back.
Facilities are in excellent condition. Docks are well protected. Great location if you are visiting the area. The team managing the daily operations of the marina is outstanding -- very nice people.
We stayed at two marinas during a recent stay in Boston Harbor, and Boston Yacht Haven is where we plan to stay going forward. The marina is relatively expensive, but the service is outstanding. The facilities are in excellent condition, and you can't beat the location. Very nice team. We had a great stay and recommend it highly.
Moorings are perfectly maintained. Booking is well organized, and Nantucket Moorings boat was very helpful in finding the mooring and tying up. Really nice place to stay.
