Super docks. Brand new, clean, stable. Very calm water. Harbormaster staff very fast and friendly. Requested a little help with lines approaching at 4PM and 3 hands appeared on the dock in less than a minute which made tie-ing up super easy. Office hours are also excellent as the harbormaster staff is there until midnight. Facilities are right off the dock. The showers and bathrooms are institutional (think concrete, cinderblock, battleship grey paint) and unadorned, but they are well ventilated, very clean and have plenty of hot water. Restaurants and shops are less than 2 blocks, including CVS, a hardware store and a well-stocked marine supply store. Would definitely return.

The harbor is fairly busy, including a very frequent (and very short ferry crossing). The VHF (ch. 74) is very busy on approach (but also super helpful). The mooring field is VERY long - makes you want to have a bigger dinghy. But it's a beautiful place to stay and once you get into the dock, Edgartown is very pretty. The pumpout boat does rounds in the morning (you just flag him down).

Extremely picturesque little marina. We were unfamiliar with the location and the marina has no map. It's not like other marinas that assign you a mooring, you just find an empty one (white balls, blue stripe "QBY"). They send a boat around in the morning to collect the mooring fee. There are other moorings in the field and so finding ours was more tedious than I anticipated. Would definitely keep some field glasses handy next time. Staff were very responsive via VHF and I'm sure would have come out if we asked. They have a pumpout boat as well. Tied up at the dinghy dock to take the short walk to The Knob - just beautiful. Now that I am familiar with it, would definitely stay again.

Very friendly office and dock staff. Walking to several good restaurants. Bathroom and laundry A+, but a bit of a hike from the docks. Most of the marina seems to be commercial fisherman, who start early, return late and most of whom could care less about making a wake in the marina, which was mildly annoying. It's not picturesque, but it is extremely convenient and well maintained.

We stay in Plymouth a fair amount, but this was our first time on a Town mooring. The mooring field is well laid out and there is even a map online. We had a minor mixup finding our mooring but the harbormaster was very responsive on VHF and quickly resolved our problem. Unfortunately, there was a floating dock next to our mooring which had become a roosting place for birds. We woke up the next morning to find our boat completely covered in bird poo and had to spend an hour washing it down (with salt water). It was disgusting. Never happened before. Easy access to town and plenty of places to park the dinghy. We didn't use any of the town facilities (showers, etc), so can't comment on that. I would book a spot here again, but absolutely nowhere near that floating dock!

Very pleasant and helpful transient dock staff. Well kept facilities. Bit of a walk to town; actually easier by dinghy. Very convenient. They even have a pumpout boat on Sundays! Definitely would visit again.

Marina Response:
Thank you for the kind review Captain! We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Have a great season!

We had a great time for an overnight here. The anchorage is right in the heart of Salem, the water is extremely well-protected and although there is a lot of night-time activity surrounding the location, it was quiet by 10. Mike, the dockmaster, was easy to reach and responded promptly. The docks are in *excellent* shape. Approach is not complicated and we had plenty of room to maneuver our 41' boat in and out. The marina is super close to downtown, but there are plenty of eating and drinking options within 100 yds. I did read the comments about the bathrooms and honestly, although they were the part of the facility which needs the most attention (because not much else does), they were perfectly acceptable. The bath/laundry is all behind a common door (with key-code access only). There are 3 seperate toilets and 2 showers, each with a door that locks (either a push-button or a barrel latch). The area was pretty clean. For sure, I've been to marinas where I just preferred to shower on the boat, but this wasn't even close. I was perfectly happy with them.

Friendly staff, excellent facilities, great location. We pulled in after a sail over from Provincetown (first time here). After an uneventful tie-up and a shower, we enjoyed dinner at the marina restaurant (great views, great drinks, good food) and then a very picturesque walk down the beach road to an ice-cream stand. We had to leave early because of weather, and we were sad to go. Another great trip to Plymouth. Same great staff and service. Definitely will return.

In case you're not aware, be advised the Piscataqua River has quite a current (up to 5 kts) and this marina is very close to the lift bridge, so if you have a lot of air draft, make sure you are ready to dock in current (or time it during slack). That current flows through the slips, so not always the quietest anchorage. Facilities (laundry, showers) are well maintained and attended. Super easy access to downtown Portsmouth. There are even a couple of good eats on Badger's Island (the land this is attached to).

Beautiful harbor. Dock is extremely calm. No services (we did not have power or water, not sure if those are available), no showers or laundry. However, easiest access to town, which does have lots of stuff. Great spot to pickup and drop off crew as commuter rail is right there.

This marina is like brand new. Staff is friendly and very helpful - even lent us a shore cable when ours went for a inadvertant swim. More convenient to downtown than anything I can think of. Kind of enjoyed being lulled to sleep by the faint thump of dance music from the Boatslip (we had the ports open b/c no AC this last trip). Showers and laundry all top notch. We took a slip for convenience, but met several folks on moorings who were very pleased. Wide variety of boats in this marina.
