Dock master was extremely friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. The price was right with clean showers, affordable laundry, space to walk the dog, and no wakes, being off the main channel.
The staff is amazing, even understaffed, this is a team of professionals. Have patience and they'll get you well taken care of. It's a party venue, so be ready to get down. We were surprised at how happening this place was. Be careful coming in, the basin has shoaled significantly on the west side.
Dock plugs were pretty loose. Slight rocking from passing boats, but nothing to really complain about. Helpful dock hand. Generally well protected. We'll be back
Much nicer than expected. Gloucester is a beautiful mix of commercial and recreational waterfront. There's a lot going on to watch while you're on the mooring ball, with your toes hanging off the stern. I'd go 4.5 stars if I could, just due to a couple of early morning wakes from the commercial boats. Nothing too terrible though.
A hidden gem. Good food across the street and a nice beach within walking distance. We'll be back.
Great docks with an easy walk downtown. It was pretty rolly with boat wakes though. Definitely get an inside slip, be a catamaran, or both.
A nice, quiet, and well protected spot. The marina staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back
Great launch and marina service. Beautiful setting. Taqueria ("the shack") was awesome. Just a little roll. We did get the mooring ball the farthest out ("D10"). I think if we were tucked in a little more, we'd be out of the current, in the "no wake" zone, and it would be 5 stars.
