Dingy down to the second bridge where there’s a dock and it’s a short walk to a local meat market and a produce store with local products and a decent wine selection. Nice Moorings with a swift current and shady lanes.
Wonderful people and location while TS Michael passed by. A nice marine store just up the road and a fantastic market featuring local produce, meats and dry goods near by. This is a good stop to spend a couple of days before or after a run to/from NYC
At 4 am a large lobsterman trolled up and down the Waterway working his pots but he also moved fast throwing a wake and didn’t mind shining his beam onto our boat. I wish I knew where he lived so I could return the favor at his house three hours into his sleep. Pass on southwest and go to northwest Harbor.
Great grocery and restaurant Pool Lobster F. O. Goldthwaites. Restock the wine racks with a great retail selection.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner at Gloucester House was excellent. Do sit inside.
