This marina is one of my favorites. You feel welcome from the moment you made the reservation. Very friendly and professional dock hands and great all around service makes this marina a top one on my list. And if that is not enough is on a beautiful location, you have to stay a couple of days and leave the marina. Shops, restaurants are all close by. For those with bikes is a very well marked bike trail that takes you from the plantation to around the town on this beautiful route.
This is now one of my favor marinas. I liked it so much I stay an extra day. The staff is friendly, the bathroom and showers are the best of any marinas so far. Beautiful location, a well stocked boat store at the boat yard. The town of Oxford is very nice, grocery store and places to eat are very close to the marina.
Very nice place to stay and wait for good currents to over to the C&D canal. The restrooms and showers are very clean, Marina store is well equipped with the essential items. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The only reason I'm giving it 5 stars is because the docks need some work. The ones I was assigned had missing cleats and one or two lose ones.
People are friendly and helpful, good restaurant at the marina. Everything you need is a short distance from the marina. Is very easy to get in and out. The marina a mooring fields are protected from waves and wins. I'll definitely stop there if in that area again.
The marina is small and getting there with the current was a bit tough. Long way up the river. That said once there it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was terrific, from the first radio contact to casting off they were there with a smile for anything l asked. Just look for a person in a red shirt. I will definitely stay there next time I'm around that area.
Beautiful marina with great location and very helpful people. The hands at the dock were friendly and took got care of me, directing me to my slip and helping with the docking lines. The overnight stay was quiet and very pleasant.
