Staff went out of their way to clear my reserved mooring of a boat that had picked it up inappropriately. Thanks very much
Friendly staff limited shore amenities. I always stay here when heading downeast Showers being renovated Busy lobster fleet at 4-5 am. Tends to be rocky and rolly when seas are up
Very accommodating. Excellent services. Availability of loaner car for trips to local grocery for reprovisioning is a great plus to offer users of the marina.
The dock staff was excellent. New Wharf area bars and restaurants excellent but pricey. Unfortunately they were unable to solve my shorepower issues. My older boat kept tripping the GFI pedestals. This might be a problem.
Friendly dock staff. Fun dockside restaurant and general store. Anchorage is rolly and wide open to the Southwest. Ample moorings
Beautiful little cove with moorings a restaurant and no other amenities Don’t take mooring #5 as unused mooring #8 will interfere with your stern. WiFi is weak and disconnects from you. Suggest strong using Al if possible.
Helpful dockstaff. Clean facilities on shore. Excellent WiFi strength with strategic placement of multiple signal boosters on the docks. Wish they had shoreside gas grills as they used to have
Procedures have changed. No mooring assignment just pick up any free mooring. Checkin building closed. No info given Re: WiFi and available facilities. Launch service stops at 5 pm. No seating preference given to marina clients. Complimentary blueberry muffins are still delivered to people on moorings which is a Dolphin signature amenity.Otherwise a totally different vibe to this marina presumably due to staffing shortages.
Friendly efficient dock staff. Excellent shore facilities. Available loaner vehicle for trips to grocery if needed. Excellent Wifi.
This was one of many visits to Journeys End over the past several years, however, things were quite different due to Covid-19. We were given a face dock slip opposite the Pilot boat. The staff met us and helped with out lines, however, they did not offer to assist with shorepower hookup and were not aware that the pedestal next to our boat was not functioning. I had to try several hookups to come to this conclusion, report this to the dockhouse and call the dockhouse for an extension cord. We ultimately had to attach to the Pilot boat pedestal. In addition the wifi coverage in this part of the marina was abysmal and basically non-functional. It was disappointing to be unable to connect to functioning wifi without walking to the dockhouse and staying there on site. I would think that in this day and age and the availability of wifi signal boosters, this situation could be remedied. I was also concerned about the lack of use of PPE masks by the dockstaff.
