Another great stay at South Jersey. we got there pretty early for our one night stay, around 1230, so we got a spot on the gas dock. Chris and crew were super helpful as always - we look forward to staying again
Clement once again helped us out by putting us out on the t-head for our one night stay. He's super helpful and proficient.
This was our second visit but it’s been five years. The floating dock along the sea wall is a very welcome addition as is the super clean and very nice heads/showers and laundry machines (front loading, really top shelf stuff). Greg was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was no ice available but that’s a minor hit. We loved our two night stay and hope to be back next season.
We were thankful for a nice, snug slip after a long offshore passage from Atlantic City. The staff was friendly and helpful, facilities were nice, and you can’t beat the location. Special shout out to Josh who helped us tie up upon arrival and with pumping out / refueling the next morning. He really hustles and was very professional - thanks Josh!
Helpful staff, great huge docks and fairways, well protected, and plenty of dining options. Clean heads and showers. We enjoyed our stay.
This place is a little gem. The water got skinnier and skinnier (literally, depth was ok) as we approached up the channel but landed in a fine slip that could not be more protected. The staff was friendly and helpful, the heads and showers were squeaky clean and new, and it was easy walking distance for plenty of dinner options. We’ll be back.
Love the location and we enjoyed being able to walk to Dog Watch for dinner. The SHYC staff was friendly and helpful, even offering free ice which was great. However, not having access to heads or showers between 5 pm and 9 am is unfortunate. Even so, we enjoyed our one night stay.
We stayed for one night on July 8th. The marina is showing its age but we didn’t come here for amenities, it’s just a good stop given our route plan. Thomas did a great job helping us into H58, very courteous and helpful. We couldn’t get Wi-Fi at the slip. Ice was $6 per bag but disappointedly melted just like any other ice. We met some nice people enjoying a Saturday night on the docks and were grateful for a snug spot to tie up for the night.
I made our reservation far in advance of our stay, and as it turns out we could not have been more fortunate. The day we arrived a gale warning was posted for the next day. I don't know that you could find a better marina to wait out a storm like this. The entrance to the little Bay is very narrow (but with plenty of depth) so once inside it's like a millpond even though quite literally a gale is blowing all around you. Capt Billy was a great host and ready to help in any way we might need. He has a loaner car, something which is getting pretty rare these days it seems, which we gratefully used to drive to Kilmarnock for some provisions. The facilities in the marina are basic but clean and functional. We will definitely be back when the opportunity arises.
