nice, clean facilities. new looking. 15 min walk to town. pretty stiff currents on the docks though.
Kim (owner/manager) "gets" it. Super friendly, competent, flexible service to boaters. Lots of very happy people on the docks. A great, welcoming town was full of great restaurants, boutique shopping, and coffee shops. So much fun. We'll be back.
Great location. Just wish they left the bathrooms and showers open past 7 pm. It’s locked and coded. Why not?
A pretty good place to hang after or before passing thru the Canal. Only 2 large restaurant options for dinner, and nothing really around. We were on the outermost dock (H) near the entrance, a very long walk to bathroom.. The laundry was Out of Order (we needed it), And the guy at the Gas Dock was a bit too hasty untie-ing us off the dock (I didn't tell him to cast off the lines, and when I looked back, we had no lines on - barely got my engines going....ouch) He was trying to accommodate a couple of bigger boats trying to get in to the gas dock, but would have been better to ask me if I was ready to push off. We were only on the dock for about 5 minutes, so not like we were dilly-dallying.
Great help from Angus getting on the piling dock. Alert: you really need 6 long lines. GreAt stay. Shack had a nice lobster bake to bring to our boat.
Nice quiet mooring. Launch service till midnight $4 per Person each Way.
Quiet. Great boating neighbors in the docks. Peaceful. No services and a long road many Miles to anything like food or drink but great if you want to get away from it all. Dave the owner is a charm!
