From the owner, to the staff, to all the fellow boaters, everyone at the marina was extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a last minute slip due to a nearby boatyard canceling our haul out without any notice. Eau Gallie YB was able to accommodate us(we’re 59’ so that makes it harder for last minute requests). They were also very flexible while we tried to find another yard that could haul us. We will definitely stay here again.
We were a bit hesitant to book TELEMAR Bay Marina due to the low ratings on Active Captain, Waterway Guide… but it was a convenient location as we have family nearby and we needed a slip for 2 months. We had seen some recent Facebook comments regarding new management so we decided to give it a try. This marina no longer deserves the low ratings that it has previously received! Drew, Enno, and Nichole at Telemar were extremely accommodating and made our stay truly enjoyable. The Marina is located within walking distance to Publix, ACE Hardware , restaurants, parks, any really anything you might need. The beach is a short bike ride away. We will definitely be coming back to Telemar!
We enjoyed our week long stay at Jekyll Marina. The island is beautiful and fun to explore. The bike trails were great and well maintained. Only downside for us would be that there isn’t a grocery store near by. We were fortunate to have friends with a car staying at the marina so that wasn’t an issue, but it could have been. The marina has 2 golf carts that can be used for 1 1/2 each day(on the island only).
We loved everything about Homer Smith Docks and Marina! The new Captain’s lounge, bathrooms and FREE laundry were fantastic. The courtesy car was an added benefit. The staff and owners were helpful and accommodating. Beaufort is a great little town. We ended up staying week so we could explore the area and restaurants. We will definitely come back to Homer Smith Marina!
The dock help and employees at the ship store and restaurant were wonderful! Very dog friendly.
What a fun place to stay! Everyone at the marina was extremely friendly and helpful. We extended our stay here because there is so much to see and so much to do at Clearwater Beach.
We draft 5’9” and it was a little tight coming in. We were sitting on the bottom during low tide but other than that, the dock was conveniently located close to great restaurants and a park to walk our dog. Management was very helpful when we needed to change our dates.
