This was a great end of season visit. OldPort was running with limited hours (variable each day), which constrained dinners ashore to dinghy actions.
Great to be in Wickford! Dinghy tie up is ok, but not great â the townâs dinghy tie up is deterioratingâŚ. Might be bad by 2024. The clubâs is limited for visitors. Fun shopping.
Mooring but no pennant. Group of us arrived with âreservationsâ only to discover we needed to sort out which moorings to use, and we had to raft up in pairs. Poor expectation management.
Old school small family business. Very clean head/showers. Friendly, and helpful. Less than half a mile from Fordâs Lobster making it an easy walk. Using the dingy made the other Lobster place, Abbots, just as easy to get to though. Carsonâs has great cornbeef hash for Breakfast! Wish I had declared my draft a bit deeper âcause it was close getting away from our mooring the day we left, but weâll definitely come again.
Weâre happy first time visitors. The mooring was easy to find, had plenty of swinging room, and was protected. Right in the heart of things! Launch was easy, and the dingy dock wasnât crowded. Prices are steep, but the village still has a grocery store, a laundromat, and a hardware store within walking distance. Great meal at Page.
This is the ideal way to visit Nantucket. N. Moorings was even easier to use than ever before. We got our mooring assignment during the day, while we were enjoying a great sail. Efficient. Clean moorings. Looking forward to returning again next season.
A great stopover on the way into Narragansett. Small and intimate. We did laundry, and enjoyed a shower.
Visiting Stonington by getting a transient mooring from Dodsonâs is worth doing again. Protected harbor, delightful town. Great launch service, and very helpful dock hands at the fuel dock. Loved the Dogwatch cafe!
