Best marina on BI. No rafting. Stern-to tie up with pilings to secure bow. We weren’t familiar with this but the dockhands were right there and took care of it all. Marina is low key with a great vibe and friendly people. Will definitely be back.
Excellent facilities and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Very short walk to town restaurants and shops, but staff are eager to drive their fun six seater electric cart so be prepared for multiple offers. Transient docking is on outside edge of a long face dock but it’s calm and boat traffic obeys the no wake speed. We came in mid tide and current was minimal. Will come again.
Great place in the heart of Salem- lots of activity and great restaurants (Finz) yet quiet at night. Very protected and docks in great shape. Dockmaster, Mike, was great as well. Word of caution (and why not 5 stars), restroom/shower facilities are atrocious! First off, it’s unisex so minimal privacy. Filthy and obviously never updated, they were not cleaned or supplied all weekend- bring your own TP and to avoid unspeakable communicable disease plan to shower on your boat!
Easy to reserve on Dockwa. Attendant in boat pointed out our mooring, but with several in that area and numbers hard to see we had to search- would have helped if she had motored over to show us. Beautiful spot with excellent views of Boston skyline but wakes of passing boats in canal can be significant
Under new ownership (SafeHarbor instead of Brewers). Much better organization, staffing and dock help. Brand new outer docks for transients. Clean, well maintained showers/restrooms, older but serviceable. Women's shower has private changing area. Marina is next to the famous 'House of the Seven Gables' in a historic area of Salem. Walking distance to attractions and many restaurants. Great place to stay. Will be back
Excellent experience. Marina has new owners and has been completely redone since our last visit several years ago. Great help at the dock, beautiful new facilities. A walk down the pier brings you directly to the center of P-town. We’ll be back.
