This was one of the most impressive marina/boatyards we have stayed in. The staff and facilities were great. The restaurant on site, Iris’s Eats , served delectable “comfy gourmet” breakfasts and lunches. Definitely would stay here again.
We contacted by radio as directed. “ I’m busy right now, I’ll check when I’m finished”. After 15 minutes he came out in the launch looking at moorings until he finally pointed at one for us to take. It appeared he had no idea we were coming and no idea what he had available. We tried calling on the telephone but the stewards line was always unavailable.
We had a little difficulty finding the mooring but Chris came out in a dinghy and escorted us to it. The service he provided was excellent, we would definitely stay here again…
Gloucester was our favorite stop. There is so much going on. It is fun to sit on the back porch and watch.. The moorings were well marked and easy to find….
A great marina with all the amenities a cruiser could want. Dock crew are the greatest….make every captain look great! Easy walk to town. Would definitely stop again if in the area.
All expectations were met. Easy walk to town for access to restaurants, Whaling Museum and National Park Visitors Center…
They stay was as described. The moorings are easily identified in the most southeast corner of the mooring field. Orange buoy for heavy, green for lighter boats
It would have been a 5 if we did not have to look at a Trump flag all during our stay !
Very nice marina. Would have liked to have restaurant open.
