The staff were very responsive and helpful. The boathouse bathrooms and showers were great. The location can't be beat as everything (restaurants, hardware, trails, dog park, brew pubs and green space) were within 0.5 miles of the boat. Our first time in VT, and it was a wonderful stop!

Friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers, nice restaurant on site, dog friendly. Only downside....the water is well- water (we assume since they have a septic system) and it tastes like it is highly chlorinated.

Marina Response:
You are correct, we do have a well. A well with a very expensive pump and filtration system. Last week we had to replace a pump. Whenever we work on the system there is a period of a day or two that has elevated chlorination. We do that out of abundance of safety. We are how ever on municipal sewer system and do not have a septic system. Sorry for your water experience, it is normally awesome water. Thank you for your other kind words, about our property. It is our goal to be as good as we can be!

Abby was very helpful in tying us up on a super windy day and answering all of our questions. The restroom /shower facilities are kept very clean. Beautiful docks with the best cleats ever! Walking distance to groceries, brewery, museums and many restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone passing this way.

Great stop and location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loved getting a ride downtown on the courtesy van and an interesting walk back through neighborhood with beautiful Victorian homes. Easy access when coming in from the canal and easy out to the inlet.

The dockmaster was very helpful in getting us securely tied up and the restroom/shower facilities were clean and roomy. I did not like having to "register/create an account" to access wifi. Such a waste of time for transients... Reasonable access to Annapolis attractions (25-30 minute walk across the bridge) and great access to several local Eastport restaurants, a brew pub, bakery, convenience store and a longer walk to Walgreens. We loved the residential neighborhood vibe right outside the marina!

Stayed 2 nights in mid-July '22. The dockmaster Dan was very helpful and the facilities are the best that we have seen in 6 months of boat travel. Having 24 hr access to a great boaters lounge, showers, and restrooms and free laundry was great! We walked all over Beaufort, experienced several restaurants and the Saturday farmers market. Can't beat the Beaufort Diner for breakfast or Mezcalito for authentic Mexican food! We'd stay longer or come more often if we could. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

This was our first and likely our last visit. The staff are all courteous and very helpful and the bathrooms and showers are clean. But...we prefer smaller marinas. The MEGA docks are just not our style. Walking nearly a half mile in the hot sun to get your dog to a "parking lot" to do his duty and then back again is not much fun. We did lots of walking from our boat to great neighborhoods and the historic downtown areas, but the major road that separates the marina from these areas is not pedestrian friendly. Seems like a great place for mega yachters who have all their personal amenities aboard (pools, showers, laundry, spas, etc) and can afford taxis to go everywhere - but that's not us!

We enjoyed our stay in the mooring ball and appreciated the nearby municipal dock to land our dinghy. We were also able to get our dog to shore and to the beach for exercise after 5pm and before 9am. Great stay!
