Details06/15/2019 The Bay County Boatyard and the Owner are frauds with unskilled labor!!! They put my raw pumps on backwards, did not put the key ways back in the impellers when they changed them. They charged me for new exhaust hoses but put 12 year old hoses on my system and did not double clamp them. Some clams were broken as well. The steering was connected backwards causing my boat to turn to the starboard when the wheel was turned to the port. Same for the other turn. They placed the wrong size hoses on the exhaust and engines which caused water and carbon monoxide leaks in the boat. The trim tabs do not stay up which they worked on as well. The sea strainers were not tightened and leaked raw water in the boat!!! This could have sunk my boat!!! I hired an expert to repair these and other issues and when the expert gave Robert Jones his invoice after agreeing to pay him, did not pay him and gave me a Bogus Bill to offset the costs. That's not all, they hit my boat with a backhoe and damaged my boat and ladder. The owner Robert, hit my Jeep with a trailer and failed to file it in his insurance and did not pay for the repairs. I am taking legal action and hope all who read this nightmare caused solely by the Bay County Boatyard avoid taking your boat there for any reason. I also overheard Robert as he yelled at a customer, "I created bogus bills for you to turn into your insurance company, so stop rushing me to repair your boat". This guy is a crook and will be dealt with in the legal system!!!!! Oh, the EPA, OSHA, and other federal and state agencies have found many infractions at the boatyard!!!!
