Claim this MarinaWe stopped into Sambro unannounced and a local fellow by the name of Tom Harper, a boat owner there, made a call and had 11 boats secured with a spot to stay for the night. Much thanks to the Harbour master Paul. We were so impressed to be in out of the chop of the Sambro Ledges which are a historically rough stretch of ocean. There is a fish plant there and it is a fishing community. That said, I have to remark about the "goodness" of the people. The locals were friendly but most of all I'd like to remark on the water manners. "Every" boater there were extremely courteous with wakes .... a courtesy that was noted and "admired". Good people, safe harbor, can get anything you need from there. S/V Odyssey
