The docks are quite short for a boat with a bow sprit! Found a great restaurant - best lasagne Forrey Grill. Our next visit the town had no power. 2/26 drive thru only but without a car they won’t let you drive thru.

Staff was great on arrival. Dock is very conveniently located in Labelle.

We were unable to get nights in a slip with power/water but we had the finger dock which was easier for 43' boat. However, there were lily pads encroaching from the bank....even in front of the little cement wall. Other than that, it was great.

The dock is a European design with no side dock of any type. The posts that divide the docking areas are too close to the dock and almost 3/4 of my boat extended beyond the posts. The evening we were there was quiet and no wind so the lack of any bow tie was no problem. If there had been inclement weather it would have been a bad position to be in. My boat is 48 feet long. There is power and water available as advertised. The library across the street was the only contact with the city personnel and they really didn’t know how anything about the operation except to remind boaters to use Dockwa if they hadn’t already done so. The price is right and a good nights sleep in a well lighted area around the boat was appreciated.

The pros: it’s inexpensive, the pilings and dock are in good condition, and the location is walkable to many places in LaBelle, which has some beautiful trees! The minuses: the pilings are very close to the dock, making for a challenging tie up. There are zero facilities. Traffic noise from the bridge is significant, as are the wakes of passing boats. You’ll have to come in either bow or stern to the dock, which can make getting ashore tricky.

Really like the town and the people. Docks are good, water and electricity great. But very noisy with the bridge beside. Need showers. Would be great if we could stay longer!!

Very nice docks. Easy in and out, power and water. What more do you need for $30 a night

Great stay. Great staff. Love the Tiki Bar. The best WiFi on the ICW.

The docks used to be free. Now they are $30 a night which isn't bad considering you get water and electricity. Not having finger slips it's very inconvenient. The real negative is the noise from the LaBelle bridge. It's a very short walk to shopping and restaurants so all in all a good place to stay just not for long if you want a good night's sleep.

Overall a good marina. No amenities except for water and electricity, but great location and great view. Nice park really close by to walk and enjoy the river. Next door to the public library with restrooms. Would stay again...

25 foot long slips were interesting to tie off to for our 58 foot boat, put once tied off, it was great. Mediterranean tie off, plenty of water all the way up to the dock.

www.Ourboatstory.com stayed here on Mahalo. $30/night with 3 night maximum and 8 days to reset for those who want to return. Includes water and electric. Docking can be tricky because one can only get off on the shore side, no side dock. Dock is about 5ft from waterline. Nice newer dock, but getting off was cumbersome off our swim platform. Town is fantastic. We found the best Vet ever, Halo, to fill our Bahamas pet permit checkup. Lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We loved this stop for 3 nights. Only one slip can accommodate a beam greater than 15. Dockmaster is terrific and very responsive with communication.

Bow or stern to dock. Very noisy from road traffic and bridge. No security, many people using docks for fishing, etc. No showers or washroom facilities. No pump out. Lots of wake action from passing boat traffic.

Marina Response:
We're sorry our dock didn't meet your expectations. However, everything you've pointed out is right on our dockwa/marina page, it shouldn't come as a surprise. Considering you've stayed here many times in the past and never voiced a concern, I can only assume it's because I had to come find you on three different occasions to get payment. Hopefully you can find a place that better suits your needs. happy boating!

A nice dock with electricity and fresh water, in a great town with plenty of amenities within a short walking distance.

Vacant dock. No phone. No fuel. No power. A stump will serve as well.

Marina Response:
We’re sorry our dock didn’t meet your expectations. We clearly state we don’t have fuel and our number is on the marinas page, google and the city’s website, not to mention We spoke to you over the phone on numerous occasions. The slip you were assigned to has 50 amp power so it seems you may be confused. The good news is, there are plenty of stumps in the river you can tie up to next time. Happy boating!

We always stop going and coming from the Bahamas. $30 is the cheapest place you’ll ever dock your boat.

It's a great place to lay up and work on the boat ir spendthenight. It's no longer free but still a deal.

Good power, wide enough for 15 ft beam. One slip in the middle with 50 Amp. Pilings are just to midline of a 42ft boat, spring line accordingly. Excellent stay for the price!

Great stopover. I highly recommend the short walk to the Forrey Grill for dinner. The only detractor was the garbage cans on the dock could stand to be emptied more frequently as they were quite rancid and odorous.

Like the idea of reservation. Power pedestals could use some attention. Loose and tipsy.

They offer you nothing different for the charge considering it was free but I still enjoyed my stay there everything within walking distance

Great little stop. Walked a couple of blocks to Forrey Grill for an amazing meal, went next door for a great haircut. Then walked another 2 minutes to a Dollar General grocery and did some reprovisioning. Beautiful little town. Only issue is we have a 17’ beam and there is only one slip that wide.

Would love a port-a potty, since instead of free- I now paid $30. Would like to know water depth at finger piers for future stays. That would make boarding so much easier.

The dock is great. The drawbridge is kinda loud because the docks right next to it but the location to shopping is good and there is a library there.

This has always been a 'must stop overnight' throughout the years, even before the upgrade to the City Docks. I have been moored next to 80' power yachts here. Good food and gas available nearby.
