GREEDY AND UNCOMPROMISING OWNER AND STAFF Poor signage to that unsuspecting customers park in wrong spot. They booted our car while we went into Surf City to get take out-6 people (including 2 that did the booting) watched us park and go in ...not one said-don't park there. Charged $100 to remove boot! Front office completely unyielding. very poor customer service.

THEY CHEATED ME OUT OF MY MONEY!! I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE NO PARKING SIGN AND PARKING RATES!!! Per my BBB Complaint: I was charged $160 dollars to remove a boot from a public area. There is no indication that parking is not available, and when asked for the signs to be located, I was told I was 'lucky' that they did not tow my car. I asked the reason for the additional charges. I was told I was charged a Parking rate that when asked for the sign, there was none. I called the police as I was then threatened to have the boot placed on again, to have the cops called, and to send my car to a towing agency. I paid the 160 dollars and told I that I was not welcomed. I documented the conversation as well as the parked car in which there are no 'No Parking Signs'.

I was on my way down to Fl I am on a 35 ft Monterey stoped in for the night on a Sunday, no one was there to help us dock, then no one gave us a key to get in or out, and the security guard wanted a copy of our boat insurance and registration, not a good area. I will not be back

Probably worth another start but I was not in a slip so I am not sure. We had our boat trucked to this location so we could work on it and put it in the water. While we did not have a slip or dock we did have a hassle free experience. They dry docked the boat without a problem and gave us a great spot to work on it. When we were ready they splashed the boat for us and we fuelled up right there. Parking was not a problem and the Light rail was a block away. So you could get around without a car. I would go there again for marine work. Sorry I do not know about the docks but there were several hardcore fishing folks with small boats there (if that means anything). What i liked about this place is no one bothered us. We were left alone to do the work we needed. Sometime boat yards can be a major pain in the ass but this place was great.
