Excellent! Responsive and high quality in every respect. They did a great job.
We spent a week at Manchester Marine and found them to be very flexible and helpful. When we arrived we found their moorings are floating docks along the edge of the channel, which turned out to be incredibly useful for the different activities we did during the week of our stay.
Stayed at a floating dock. Much better than a mooring. Randy, the dockmaster, was great and very accommodating. Paul, driving the launch was super guy. Wouldn’t even take a tip. Beautiful town. Singing beach was great. Worth another trip.
I stored my sailboat at Manchester Marine for the Winter, and they did a great job of getting it ready. Nice, Clean and well organized marina. Highly recommend it.
This past off-season (2023-2024) was my first year having MMC store/prep/launch my boat. From the office staff, to the Customer Service staff, to the mechanical folks, to the yard folks, they have been extremely professional, flexible, and accommodating to my ‘dumb questions’, my unique requests and my requests for schedule changes. Exceeded my expectations. !!!! Thanks, Bernie Golden
Great communication with staff through dockwa. We picked up a mooring in the outer harbor due to our size. The mooring was easy to pick up. The harbor was beautiful. It was very calm after the traffic of the day stopped. Exposed to S and SW. Would stay there again.
Despite a mechanical issue aboard our stay was amazing due to the fantastic staff. Prunie, Nick, Bones and company all went above and beyond to help us deal with our issue and still have a fantastic time. The harbor is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. We are adding it to our short list of places to each season. Can't wait to go back and spend more time exploring the area.
MM is great. It is super convenient to dingy in to the town dock. All services are easily accessible. Very quiet and protected harbor. Staff is great. Thanks for another great stay.
Beautiful town. Big grocery, too. The folks at MMC were great. AT under 40’ I would absolutely come here, in order to get a mooring in the spectacular inner harbor. The issue I have is that any boat over 45 is given a mooring way out in the outer harbor. 42° 33.661' N 70° 47.374' W by GC 5. 15 minutes dinghy by motor to town, and a little rolly even in very settled conditions. THEY DID TELL US UPRONT, AND WOUND UP OFFERING TO LET US COME INSIDE, but by that time we’d settled in. You wouldnt want to be out there in lousy weather for sure. & in settled you might as well anchor, especially since they have no launch either, so at 80 bucks… THEY DID LET US KNOW ABOUT THE LAUNCH SITUATION IN ADVANCE OF CHARGING FOR THE RESERVATION, so really not complaning, just stating. UNDER 40 awesome if a bit pricey. Over 45 though, meh
Very nice marina staff and cute town. Excellent protection and great land access to groceries and restaurants! It’s a working boatyard with a bit of activity so good for mooring and dockage and service
Staff was great. Reservation easy. Bathrooms/ shower nice, clean. Good location to downtown and to dingy around. Thanks!
Excellent harbor / Manchester by the Sea nice town / Nice and clean
Everything was great. I would have like some kind of launch support.
We stayed on a mooring right in front of the marina. All was as expected. Wifi reached the boat. Staff were more than helpful. Very quite harbor. Nice town to walk around. Park had live music one night. All good.
We always love staying at Manchester Marine. The MMC moorings are very secure and easy to pick up. This time, our arrival didn't go quite as smooth as usual. This is more of a humorous story than a complaint: We hailed on 72 as we approached and got no answer. Tried again, no answer. Different radio, no answer. Tried calling on cell, went to voice mail. So we grabbed a mooring. All this time, the person at the fuel dock can see us. So I commissioned the dingy so I could go over and talk to them face to face. When I went in the office I saw a VHF radio tuned to 72 - with the volume turned all the way down. I said "I've been hailing you on 72". "Nothing came through", they said. "Here's why" (as I turned the volume up). Anyway, then of course I had to dinghy back out and move from one mooring to another. To be fair, it was a bit early in the season for them. In fact, they opened up dockwa just for us on that day so we could get a reservation. We really do love staying there and my experience this time was way out of the ordinary for MMC.
Although we had reserved a mooring, we were given a slip. We were also unaware that the marina closed at 4 pm - we arrived with about 15 minutes to spare. Facilities were good and the staff was very friendly.
Very friendly, helpful staff. We were in a group and they even moved a boat so we could all be together. Can't wait to go back!
First was told to go to mooring that couldn't get to because of the with of my boat(31') with only a launch boat man around at 4:15. Ended up putting us on a mooring way out of harbor where water was very rough. Numerous calls , with no help. We left went to Salem where we were treated very will.
Friendly staff...clean facilities...beautiful harbor!
Beautiful harbor, very well protected. Easy access to ocean and downtown to square and restaurants
