About

Ocean Point Marina is a family-owned, full-service boatyard & marina located on Maine's coast in the historic boat-building community of East Boothbay. We are situated in a well protected cove at the mouth of the Damariscotta River, only minutes from the open ocean and some of the best cruising grounds on the East Coast.

Wet Slips & Moorings

We are proud to offer dockage and moorings for transient or extended stays. Between May and October, our docks and moorings can be rented on a daily/nightly, weekly, monthly, or seasonal basis. Dockage has 30 and 50 AMP 125v electric outlets.

Service & Storage

We offer Inside & Outside Storage. Our Outside Storage rates include shrink-wrap. We give you the option to store your boat with the mast either in or out. We have a newly erected 7,000 square foot storage facility that is heated and houses our new paint shop. The new building is tall enough to allow us to drive in with the travel lift. This has proven invaluable during emergency haul-outs. We also offer cold storage inside our dirt floor building, which is particularly beneficial to wooden boats.

More important than our facilities at Ocean Point Marina, is our skilled staff. We all care about doing what is best for you and your boat. We have the experience and facilities to handle all of your maintenance and storage needs, major overhauls, including new construction wooden and fiberglass hull repairs and re-powers, painting and varnishing. Whether you want to create something new, or bring back to life something old, our new paint shop and heated storage facility allows us to work efficiently and stay on your project any time of the year. Some of our services include:

  • Winterizing and Commissioning
  • Rigging
  • Bright Work & Varnishing
  • Awl Grip
  • Indoor, Outdoor, Heated, and/or Mast Storage
  • Mechanical Services
  • Certified Mercury Dealer
  • Fiberglass Repair
  • Haul-Outs
  • Marine Supplies
  • Wifi
  • Pristine Shower & Laundry Facilities
  • Ice Machine

Ocean Point Marina is also home to the East Boothbay TowBoatUS franchise. Our captains are always ready to help you out of a sticky spot!

Enjoy your time relaxing on the water, or head to our restaurant and enjoy some deals as an Ocean Point Marina dockage customer!

Tried and failed to stay at this Marina. Their website has a Dockwa-logo "reserve here" button but they're not set up on Dockwa, so no way to reserve transient space except by phone. I called about a week in advance; guy who answered the phone was able to give me a mooring reservation but said I needed to call back the day before arrival to see whether dock space would be available. Called again the day before arrival and asked for the dockmaster's office. The girl who answered the phone said she didn't understand what I meant by "dockmaster's office." When I was eventually able to explain what I was calling about, she told me the guy who had given me the mooring reservation and told me to call him the day before arrival was on vacation. But she told me "one of the mechanics" said there was no dock space available. She confirmed my mooring reservation and told me to telephone when I arrived (since their VHF radio doesn't work) for mooring assignment and directions. I called when we were about 30 minutes out, just after 3 pm, and got a recording saying their hours were 8 - 3:30 and to leave a message. I left a message and called repeatedly until 3:30, but no answer and no callback. We didn't want to end up on some other boat's mooring and also be unable to access shoreside heads, so we gave up and made new late-afternoon plans for the night. Maybe these guys treat their seasonal customers or restaurant patrons well, but we found them completely incompetent at dealing with transients.

Had a great stay and their service is outstanding. Staff arrived early (0615) on morning of departure and changed our oil and filter. Many heart full thanks for your service.

A real Downeast Maine Marina. The docks may be a bit old as is the fuel pump but the hospitality and friendliness can not be beat. Thank you for a very pleasant atmosphere. Good luck with the Fisherman’s Landing Restaurant.
