Easy in out. Fuel.Close to town. Food restaurants. Musical fountain show. Friendly people. Met us for tie up.would stay again.
We stayed over 2 weeks because of Erie Canal flooding and major debris in Hudson River. The dockmaster Nick is awesome. So helpful as are all the dock staff. The owners are boaters and have addressed every need for other boaters. The restaurant is a foodies place to eat! Owner Brian & Kathy now have a tiki bar of sorts ,The Twisted Prop. Drinks served poolside with plans to expand into serving poolside fare, burgers, dogs, maybe even jerk chicken!! The pool is always clean and cool! The firepit makes for a relaxing evening. As we were transient loopers the liveaboards and locals were so welcoming and friendly. Plan to make a repeat stay at Donovans Shady Harbor. Thank you Donovan Family!
Dockmaster answered hail as we arrived and met us at slip for tie up. Friendly helpful liveaboards. Lovely pool. good area for dogs. $10 taxi ride to town. Maritime museum wonderful! Wonderful meal at Savona's Trattoria! Historic district of town a short walk up hill and very worthwhile.
well protected marina. new docks. no fuels. Dockmaster also runs Maritime museum. Decent laundry bathroom facilities. beautiful waterfront town with shops restaurants distillery and brewery. lots of history. uber to enterprise outer banks. rental cars for beach riding and wild horse viewing. ferry to Ocracoke. Corolla lovely. so much history.
Easy reservation process via Dockwa. Great floating docks. Easy docking. No dock hands available. nice bathrooms showers. Use of Golden Nugget indoor pool. Fun stop. Great restaurants close by.
Great helpful dock hands. Current is strong. Right in town. Fuel pump on t dock.Easy to tour historic area. Horse drawn carriage tour great! Good food. Shopping great!
Dock master very helpful with windy tie up. Directly off ICW. Courtesy car got us into Savannah. Krispy Kreme donuts delivered to boat every morning. I would stay there again.
In lite of Covid 19 we were not expecting dock master and owner to help us tie up. Welcome surprise. Good docks, power, water. No pool. Showers and bathrooms good. Friendly and helpful liveaboards. would stay again.

Staff very friendly and helpful with arrival and gas. Great price. Easy walk to town. Wonderful restaurants and shops. New private bathrooms, showers, day room. Floating dock for transients. Not finger piers. Wonderful harbor hosts with AGLCA came to dock to introduce selves.
We spent 3 days at Salty Sams. Super helpful dockhands.bEasy to access floating docks. 2 great restaurants on site. $5 boat taxi to Ft Myers Beach. Enterprise Car rental half mile away. Lovely seasonal live aboards. Decent showers and bath.
