I’m middle of the road here because if I hadn’t heard there were new owners making improvements it would be a 1 star. Fuel docks broken, but if ya back down a row of boats you can buy gas. Tell them we have a Dockwa reservation… can’t find it at first. Then they have to move peoples boats to fit us in. Not sure who they moved and there situation there but woke up and boats were hanging in a -.70ft tide. I don’t think they really cater to the transient boating community here. I did see a major restaurant project, new bathrooms (men only) and a rumor floating docks will be going in. I’m hopeful this place in a while will be better than a 3. Everyone was friendly I hope they set aside some room for restaurant and transient traffic.
Beautiful marina and resort and it’s great to see all the work they did to get back up and running. The only downside here is bathrooms are across the street on the second floor of the resort and there are no showers available.
It’s always a pleasure to visit St Petersburg and stay at the municipal marina. Don’t change a thing!
It’s not easy to get to, but it’s got great slips, decent facilities and a good restaurant on site. The only negatives are the distance to any other dining/drinking options and the lights on the dock by the restaurant are BRIGHT at night it lit the boat up.
Unfortunately there’s only a 5 star option for Old Port Cove. Everything here is 1st class. Everyone was extremely friendly, and even had time to meet many of the local boaters. The facilities are top notch, and the scenery is amazing.
Pulled up and made about 6 calls between my wife and I and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I pulled into an empty spot on the dock and asked my wife to check in. She tried to go but the gate to the dock (plus for security) was locked. She asked a person staying at the marina to let her out, but we met the biggest &$/)(?@& in boating who told my wife if you belonged here you’d have the code. We finally get a hold of someone on the phone and it’s all good we get the codes, we are in the correct spot, bathroom info and the layout of the town. The town is pretty small but we had a chance to hit a dive bar and at the suggestion of the marina we headed to the Eagle for dinner. The town was very friendly, the docks east to get to and a friendly community.
Spent a night here, and after I made the turn in was surprised by the room, compared to other Montauk marinas. Great store, staff and a hopping tiki bar at night.
Awesome facility and a short walk to downtown. We had some confusion pulling in and there was a small boat in our spot. Radioed them and they shot me an alternative immediately. We’ll be back for sure.
As a person with a large boat said it’s tight quarters for sure! The staff was very nice, flexible and accommodating during our stay. The facilities were clean which was nice and as a transient it was nice to have working WiFi. We toured as much of Montauk as we could in one day and then came back to Westlake and enjoyed a cocktail, company and the band. Definitely be back.
First, if you’ve never been to this marina don’t look for transient slip where they are located on the chart! The docks are floating, but like the metal pier they are in need of repair. No electrical issues as noted by other reviewers, but we rocked and rolled all day here. I’d guess it’s a no wake zone but some people must think a 14’ dinghy with a 25hp motor isn’t making one. The kids are attentive and where there when we arrived but you have to check what they’re doing with your lines. They run them over the motor, around the boat rails and rubbing across poles. It’s a nicely located spot, but if you need a trip to the shower or bathroom get ready for a walk through town!
This was a quickly planned trip and the staff got us in on short notice. Very helpful when we arrived. This might be the nicest spot to spend a couple nights in Greenport. We will be back!

It’s a four because it’s a very reasonable price. Place needs a little TLC and some finger piers. I don’t think during the season I could have docked and been able to get on/off the boat. Luckily they said put it anywhere you see an opening and I found maybe the only slip with a finger pier. Nice folks, okay restaurant and pub and an easy walk to town.
