Been to this marina while cruising the Great American Loop a couple of different times. From our perspective Steve and the crew here work very hard to make everything perfect for their customers. The area has a lot to see and the marina is close to everything. We do not hesitate booking time here with this exceptional marina and staff!
We stopped here while traveling the Loop. This marina is under new ownership and they are working their tails off to upgrade this stop. Good restaurant a couple of blocks away also a DQ. The retired lock works well. They have work ahead but this stop means a great deal to them and they are working away. We would stay here again.
A really great stop along the Illinois River. The members make you feel as if you are one of them. The staff is great and helpful. Restaurant/bar is great and the pool is fantastic. We will be back!
WHAT??? I have to be honest, we are traveling the Great American Loop and therefore have had the opportunity to visit many marinas. Previously, I thought the customer service provided by those in Michigan were heads and tails better than any other marina we had had the opportunity to visit. UNTIL NOW!! Heritage Harbor Ottawa provides customer service that is even better. This was totally unexpected since we were no longer in Michigan. Right here, just outside Chicago, a place where customer service is very important. Thank you Heritage Harbor for raising the bar!
We were only there for an overnight but got in early enough in the day to enjoy the area. Took our bikes and rode through the historic district. We ended up going to a AAA baseball game at the stadium. The team at the marina are fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful. Next time here we will be landing at this great facility!
Very nice marina with a first rate staff. Easy to get to Savanna and everything there. Love the Krispy Kreme delivery!
It is a bit of a put put through the bayou to get back to this marina. It is all worth it once you arrive. The staff is friendly and gas prices are reasonable. Great service at this marina.
