We were met at the dock by a friendly and informative staff. Restrooms were clean.
I arrived just as a thunderstorm arrived. The dockmaster came out to help me tie up even though the wind really picked up. Their help was greatly appreciated.
I ended up staying 3 nights due to weather. Tina was great and arranged a trip so that I could get more supplies. I borrowed their bike for dinner transportation and exercise. Great stay!
The marina is very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful but the restrooms are lacking. 366 slips but only 4 toilets & 4 showers for each sex. Plus no TP in one toilet on Saturday night or Sunday morning. AND no working AC. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. No trash cans in the bathroom. Only one hook to hang dry stuff in the shower. The bath mats should have been thrown away awhile ago. I have stayed at many Safe Harbor locations and I know that they can do better.
Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Great floating docks. What else could we ask for?

Nice people. Facilities needed work. Not being maintained. Pump out doesn't work, showers are dirty, lots of "work in progress " boats.
Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Only complaint was the bathrooms on Thursday morning. My wife had no hot water in the shower; she saw the “hot” identification but still no hot water. My bathroom was wet....everywhere - floor, walls, chair, shelf, like a hose was brought in and sprayed everywhere.
Terry, the dock master, made complete arrangements for our late arrival. Everything went smoothly.
We stayed here the night before our first trip through NYC. We were fairly certain that we had the currents figured correctly but needed some reassurance. I called the marina to ask for help and was referred to Steve Wachter, the Marina Manager. He told us we were correct and that we would have a great trip the next day. When we arrived at the marina, Steve was there to help us dock and with a copy of Eldridge to explain what to expect and answer our questions. AND it was after 5 PM on a Friday afternoon. The service was great!
The harbor master was very helpful and friendly upon arrival. AND very busy. Beautiful place to stay. Only negative was the public showers were dirty.
Launch was very efficient and friendly. I was told that there were no slips available but that evening several were empty.
The mooring was exactly what I expected - safe and convenient. They came out in their boat to guide me to my mooring and then stopped by later to make sure everything was okay. I did not go ashore.
The staff was very friendly, the facility was well maintained. I could tell they really cared by how well they maintained the rest rooms - great job!
