A true family-oriented oasis on the water, Safe Harbor Narrows Point sits on beautifully landscaped grounds amidst the exquisite views of the Kent Narrows. Start your morning with a complimentary continental breakfast before cruising to the many nearby popular Bay destinations. Or treat the kids to some time at the playscape while you relax at the Olympic-sized pool and enjoy a casual waterfront meal with your boating neighbors.
Huge marina with everything. Came off season. Massive clean and modern restroom and shower facilities, well priced laundry, well appointed captains lounge. Transient docks are fixed. Would stay again.
Great improvement since Safe Harbor took over. So glad they kept the employees as well. The lady that is in charge of breakfast is so kind and very proud to work for you all. She has been there for quite some while and is great to talk to.
Love the pool and close by restaurants and bars. Peaceful slips. Will def return.
Check in process was easy. The pool is large, with plenty of tables and chairs, including lounges. The snack bar is handy and serves alcoholic drinks in addition to soft drinks, some sandwiches, etc. and ice cream. The bath houses were clean and well air-conditioned. It is a long walk to the restaurants on the other side of the bridge, but shuttles and bicycles are not available. Since the trail is so close, bicycles would be a welcome addition to the amenities available so we could take advantage of the beautiful scenery.
This is a very large but first class operation. We enjoyed our stay.
Great place and people!
Enjoyed a nice long weekend at safe harbor marina. The people that work here are so nice and accommodating. Also the slip holders are pretty nice too. The pool is huge and there are plenty of chairs. I love that they have a tiki bar in the pool area for drinks and food service. Being it was Labor Day weekend, it was a bit crowded at the tiki bar and took awhile to get a drink, but the bartenders were working very hard. They did run out if a few things but did there best to accommodate and were super friendly. The dock master Jason is very helpful and nice. So were the dock hands. Plenty of restaurants around makes it convenient to eat/drink as well. But they do offer a complimentary breakfast under the pavilion which is really nice. The woman that works the front desk at check in (sorry, forgot her name) is super helpful and friendly. The pool house bathrooms are huge and clean. We ask for a late check out so we could get something else to eat, and they were fine with it. I really have no complaints and this was our second stay this summer. We will definitely be back again next year (maybe even this summer/fall)!
Beautiful place! Love the pool!
Maybe the best place we have stayed Just the nicest people One small complaint Our pier was covered with duck doo Other than that they are the best
The staff and dockhands were exceptionally professional and extremely helpful. The problem was my slip assignment and neighbor. I think the conformation should have told me what local boaters on that dock (D) told me. They only enter or leave the dock an hour before low or high tide. The current took our boat and we had great difficulty docking. We managed to damage our swim platform trying to fight the current. A D Dock boater assisted by tying off ropes to the pilings to keep us from drifting. Our neighbor had his boat partially in his slip and extended about 8 feet beyond the pilings. He did this to make it easier to board or leave his boat. He was not around for the entire weekend. I understand that several other boaters on D Dock have complained about that vessel as well.
Very clean and comfortable
Very nice marina. Staff was very helpful. Plan on returning.
The marina has nice amenities but their docks are in bad shape and the finger pier was to short for access to the side entry of our boat. They need to consider replacing the docks.
We had a wonderful time. The pool and the area for kids is great. The hamburger at the pool bar is really good. The grapefruit crushes were amazing. The bathrooms are clean, we even used the showers. Its very convenient to walk to many restaurants and bars. We had a great experience.
Great facilities and staff. But for transients if you stay on Q dock, which is where you’re almost always put,,it is basically almost under the highway overpass and extremely noisy with 24 x 7 traffic.
One of the best run, clean and friendly marinas on the bay. The WiFi is very fast and reliable. Working from home might turn into working from the boat. Say hi Peaches she runs a tight ship.
I like the slip. Hope to see you again
WE STAYED ON Q DOCK WHICH WAS BY RTE 50 HIGHWAY IN THE BACK OF THE MARINA. WE LIKE STAYING BEHIND THE FUEL DOCK BETTER. IT WAS WAY TOO NOISEY FROM THE TRAFFIC. THE POOL WAS ALMOST NETRURAL TO THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE.
We arrived on a Friday at 1pm and requested our slip. The transient slip we were sent to is the last slip in the harbor R pier. A dock hand did come out to help us tie up. As far as the slip goes, we would give it a 1 star. Some of the rubber on the pier was off and the lines slipped all the way down the piling into the water. The dock hand was great , 5 stars. The pool-great! Captains lounge-great! Breakfast on Saturday -Great!, Office Service-great! Play area for the children-great! We didn't order food or drinks at the pool, so we can't comment on that, but it was nice that we could order there. Location-great! Bathhouse-great! We would have given it a 5 star if the docks were nicer. Easy way to scratch your boat. As we were leaving we saw other pilings that had hooks to catch the lines as you dock and more protection from the wood on the pier. I hope they fix that and then they would be 5 star!!
Excellent!! Kent Narrows is one of our favorite marinas to visit. The location, pool and staff always exceed expectations! Thank you for a wonderful stay over the 4th of July week.
Marina and facilities were great. We and several boats traveling with us could not get any response on the radio and had to call on the phone to get slip assignments. This lead to having no assistance docking other than the kindness of other boaters already in their slips.
Large well maintained marina with a very helpful and pleasant staff. I would give it 5 stars except for the route 50 road noise .
Staff friendly and helpful. Our yacht club event (UCYC) was held here and your staff and dockmaster greeted and welcomed our club - we will be back again!
All was great , thanks for everuthing.
UNABLE TO Pass thru Gate to Showers & bathrooms for slips on Dock A, B, & C ! Gate was LOCKED with Chain and hard key padlock because Key Pad Entry broken. Management Had sign on gate notice "no entry" BUT when I checked in at marina office I was not notified by Dock personal or Marina Office personal that I would not be able to enter gate to access closest shower / bathroom facility! I recently had knee replacement and unable to walk the distance to the other facilities on property. I would not have accepted a slip on C dock had I been told No Gate access to closest shower/bathroom facility thru that gate ! Not a good experience for an older couple.
Very nice marina. Restaurants near by, beautiful pool. Long walk to the showers and bathrooms.
Beautiful pool, nice people in office and bathrooms. Weekend breakfast is a real nice touch.
This marina is fantastic all the way around . Friendly staff , great location , top notch amenities , free breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings , walking distance to all the restaurants. The pool is HUGE and with a tiki bar and small grill right on site. Enjoyed my stay very much , hate to leave and already booking my return trip !
Staff great but facility needs major capital expenditure. Would not return.
Lovely marina Nice pool Close to restaurants Gym is closed up Heard new one coming?
Very nice marina. The bath/shower rooms were immaculate. we were way too close to the adjacent bar which had very loud music into the wee hours. Other than that, we loved it.
Overall experience was very good. Just don’t dock out around C pier near the fuel dock unless you want to be a part of Red Eye’s band all night.
Amazing weekend! Great place to stay!
Very nice marina. Lots of amenities. Loved the pool bar. Deducted one star because the piers could use some work but overall a great place to stay.
Great service and facility. I was there for a short time, but had lots of fun.
We had a great time!
Very nice facility with lots of friendly help on hand. Easy in and out plus the restrooms and showers were spotless. 2 onsite restaurants and many more within walking distance. Hit the fuel dock and pump out as we left and were pleasantly surprised about the 40 cent per gallon discount for slip holders including transients.
Love the people, pool and kids club. Docks need a little work but it seems like they are working on it.
Nice facilities and communication; they even called us whilst we were entire that the marina was closing at 1530 and they requested my ETA.
Cold November day. But nice place.
Great last minute stay, they were very accommodating even minutes before they were closing! Awesome customer service.
Friendly marina & great location to dining.
They really need a a sense of upkeep to the docks. Our group was put on pier c. The piers are from bird with bird dropping all over. Piers also had a covering of green slime. In fact one our group slipped on the slippery piers. If this is how they run a marina and charge those prices it leads to a poor feelings from all b
Great spot and good people. The staff are very helpful and professional.
Emailed them asked them what slip I was supposed to be at they told me to call on the radio when I got close called on the radio nobody answered had no clue where to go since I never been there before
Another fantastic weekend at Safe Harbor Narrows Point. We spent 5 nights on the H-Dock and found all aspects of our visit awesome. We interacted with the friendly annual slip holders and can’t wait to relocate our boat there next year. The weather could not have been better. Safe Harbor did a great job managing the crowd at the pool over the entire weekend keeping all guests as safe as possible from COVID-19. All in all, another 5-star stay at this marina.
Very quiet and friendly staff! The pool was super inconvenient! We had to get in line by 11 am in order to get a pool bracelet for the day and if you left, they were supposed to cut your bracelet. We did get into the pool but not until 4 pm since you are supposed to dock at 1 pm for a transient slip. We witnessed lots of people leaving and not having their bracelets cut. A better way to manage the COVID restrictions would have been to count the number of people in the pool then restrict access or give everyone a 2 hour time span to enjoy the lovely pool.
We stayed Friday through Monday meeting family there who also stayed on their boat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we were inside the gated area of the marina but understand the high volume of Labor Day weekend. The live music next door was great to listen to from afar. A suggestion would be to have a trash pick up or dumpster available closer. Would definitely stay again.
The did not state the pool would have limited capacity when we booked the slip. They did not keep our group together. Dockwa needs to accommodate yacht clubs and groups when booking so we are closer together.
The pool was clean and not crowded. Some people could not get in because it reached the State Mandated limit, but people were good about leaving and giving others a chance. Pool bar staff were friendly although they could benefit with a 3rd person just selling beer and food. The Yacht Club morning social was a very fun time and was able to meet new boaters.
We arrived at 1 on Saturday with 2 other boats. There were no dock hands to help any of us get in. We were told they were coming, but they never showed up for any of us. Once situated, we went to the pool. There was a wait list for the pool because of covid restrictions. We were put on the list and kept checking back. After almost 4 hours of waiting, we found out they had been taking smaller groups instead of our group of 8. The next morning we were walking to breakfast and checked in with the office and they said we could not get passes until 11. That if we were back by 12 we shouldn't have a problem. We were back at 11:45 and the pool was at capacity. We waited for two hours and finally headed home. A weekend of waiting with the pool, that never happened with our two children. It was just very disappointing. The restrooms were clean and they had a band Saturday evening.
Great stay! The Dockwa app should allow you to choose your slip based on boat size.
We stayed with a group over Labor Day Weekend. We have stayed here when it was Mears many times over the years. It was a good stay with the staff being friendly and professional. It is a great place to visit with so many things to do --restaurants, bars, music, bike path as well as the marina has a big pool. I highly recommend it. With that said, there were some recommendations. The docks are really getting old and very splittery. Not needing new docks or rickety but not up to snuff. Since it was Labor Day Weekend during covid times I will give them a pass on the following but expect it to be different next year: no dock hand available (which we can handle); one (overworked) woman in the office when I checked in that was answering the phones (ringing a lot), answering the radio calls from boats coming in (constant) and checking in people. After I saw that, I understand why she didn't answer our radio call for awhile. Even with all that she was helpful and pleasant. And the first day in the pool was full due to COVID regulations so we were unable to go to the pool but I appreciate their efforts in adhering to what is necessary on that. All in all, a great transient location for boaters.
Excellent - great pool
They went above and beyond for My Group. It was an EXCELLENT Long Weekend!! Jason and everyone treated us like Gold! Thank You to Everyone!!
Great marina and fun time.
Everyone we spoke to was very nice. The pool area and bath houses were well kept.
Very friendly atmosphere and staff!
Great pool. Several restaurants w/in walking distance. Secure. Helpful staff.
Management and Staff are great! Facilities and pool are great! The service and food at the pool bar and grille was fantastic. Also there are many dining choices within a short walk of the marina.
Beautiful grounds and facilities!!
I was on M pier along with my group. slip 322 had a raised platform on the finger pier making it hard to board the boat as it only went to within about a foot of the steps that the slip holder had Your slip holders were sitting on the pier blocking easy access to our boats. They did move when ask and were polite but we should have not had to keep asking. It is my plan to stay with you again but will request not to be on that pier.
We love this marina and have stayed many times in many different slips. Always a good experience.
Had a great stay. The only thing lacking was dock hands to help tie up on arrival.
This is a great escape on the "eastern shore" and an easy drive from the "western shore". The marina is well protected and convenient to restaurants, has a large pool and playgrounds for kids. The people in the neighboring slips were very helpful upon arrival and gave us some inside info on the eateries and Covid impacts (some places were closed). The staff was friendly and informative. They accept a single night on the weekend which makes it ideal for a quick overnight when the kids want to bring a friend and two nights may be too much.
We had a nice time and the service was good.
Very nice family oriented marina , some changes from the past years regarding rules but otherwise very nice . I look forward on going back to stay again soon
Everyone was super friendly and clean
Fantastic stay. Will stay there again. Incredible facilities and location.
Really clean & well run. Didn’t go to pool as seemed to crowded & staff not wearing masks ...got to see a great fireworks show right from the boat.
My stay at Safe Harbor Narrows Point was great.Puts Safe Harbor Great Oaks to shame. You need to change your signs all over that say's Mears Point Marina nothing on Safe Harbor. Person at marina got upset over it when we called for Mears Point. Also there was no dock hand to help out they where more worried about Poker Run. Thank You Your slip holders are great people they help out alot.
Our favorite stop in the Northern Chesapeake Bay.
Gates not working, very difficult to get in and out of marina. Road noise from highway loud at all times of the day.
Nice marina. Facilities are well kept. Staff was helpful. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Great location, friendly slip holders and staff. Bath house is a little dated, but it is super clean and COLD!
Went to a wedding on KI, very nice. Had such a good time at morning after brunch we decided it might be best to stay another day. Mears was very accommodating. Again Dockwa was easy & great to use. Very seamless. Plus the Dockwa people we’ve met couldn’t be nicer.
