Nice facilities and communication; they even called us whilst we were entire that the marina was closing at 1530 and they requested my ETA.
Cold November day. But nice place.
Great last minute stay, they were very accommodating even minutes before they were closing! Awesome customer service.
Friendly marina & great location to dining.
They really need a a sense of upkeep to the docks. Our group was put on pier c. The piers are from bird with bird dropping all over. Piers also had a covering of green slime. In fact one our group slipped on the slippery piers. If this is how they run a marina and charge those prices it leads to a poor feelings from all b
Great spot and good people. The staff are very helpful and professional.
Emailed them asked them what slip I was supposed to be at they told me to call on the radio when I got close called on the radio nobody answered had no clue where to go since I never been there before
Another fantastic weekend at Safe Harbor Narrows Point. We spent 5 nights on the H-Dock and found all aspects of our visit awesome. We interacted with the friendly annual slip holders and can’t wait to relocate our boat there next year. The weather could not have been better. Safe Harbor did a great job managing the crowd at the pool over the entire weekend keeping all guests as safe as possible from COVID-19. All in all, another 5-star stay at this marina.
Very quiet and friendly staff! The pool was super inconvenient! We had to get in line by 11 am in order to get a pool bracelet for the day and if you left, they were supposed to cut your bracelet. We did get into the pool but not until 4 pm since you are supposed to dock at 1 pm for a transient slip. We witnessed lots of people leaving and not having their bracelets cut. A better way to manage the COVID restrictions would have been to count the number of people in the pool then restrict access or give everyone a 2 hour time span to enjoy the lovely pool.
We stayed Friday through Monday meeting family there who also stayed on their boat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we were inside the gated area of the marina but understand the high volume of Labor Day weekend. The live music next door was great to listen to from afar. A suggestion would be to have a trash pick up or dumpster available closer. Would definitely stay again.
The did not state the pool would have limited capacity when we booked the slip. They did not keep our group together. Dockwa needs to accommodate yacht clubs and groups when booking so we are closer together.
The pool was clean and not crowded. Some people could not get in because it reached the State Mandated limit, but people were good about leaving and giving others a chance. Pool bar staff were friendly although they could benefit with a 3rd person just selling beer and food. The Yacht Club morning social was a very fun time and was able to meet new boaters.
We arrived at 1 on Saturday with 2 other boats. There were no dock hands to help any of us get in. We were told they were coming, but they never showed up for any of us. Once situated, we went to the pool. There was a wait list for the pool because of covid restrictions. We were put on the list and kept checking back. After almost 4 hours of waiting, we found out they had been taking smaller groups instead of our group of 8. The next morning we were walking to breakfast and checked in with the office and they said we could not get passes until 11. That if we were back by 12 we shouldn't have a problem. We were back at 11:45 and the pool was at capacity. We waited for two hours and finally headed home. A weekend of waiting with the pool, that never happened with our two children. It was just very disappointing. The restrooms were clean and they had a band Saturday evening.
Great stay! The Dockwa app should allow you to choose your slip based on boat size.
We stayed with a group over Labor Day Weekend. We have stayed here when it was Mears many times over the years. It was a good stay with the staff being friendly and professional. It is a great place to visit with so many things to do --restaurants, bars, music, bike path as well as the marina has a big pool. I highly recommend it. With that said, there were some recommendations. The docks are really getting old and very splittery. Not needing new docks or rickety but not up to snuff. Since it was Labor Day Weekend during covid times I will give them a pass on the following but expect it to be different next year: no dock hand available (which we can handle); one (overworked) woman in the office when I checked in that was answering the phones (ringing a lot), answering the radio calls from boats coming in (constant) and checking in people. After I saw that, I understand why she didn't answer our radio call for awhile. Even with all that she was helpful and pleasant. And the first day in the pool was full due to COVID regulations so we were unable to go to the pool but I appreciate their efforts in adhering to what is necessary on that. All in all, a great transient location for boaters.
Overall experience was very good. Just disappointed we could not use the pool due to Coronavirus limitations. This could be a bigger issue if you have children.
Excellent - great pool
They went above and beyond for My Group. It was an EXCELLENT Long Weekend!! Jason and everyone treated us like Gold! Thank You to Everyone!!
Staff friendly and helpful. Our yacht club event (UCYC) was held here and your staff and dockmaster greeted and welcomed our club - we will be back again!
Great marina and fun time.
Everyone we spoke to was very nice. The pool area and bath houses were well kept.
Very friendly atmosphere and staff!
Great pool. Several restaurants w/in walking distance. Secure. Helpful staff.
Management and Staff are great! Facilities and pool are great! The service and food at the pool bar and grille was fantastic. Also there are many dining choices within a short walk of the marina.
One of the best run, clean and friendly marinas on the bay. The WiFi is very fast and reliable. Working from home might turn into working from the boat. Say hi Peaches she runs a tight ship.
Beautiful grounds and facilities!!
I was on M pier along with my group. slip 322 had a raised platform on the finger pier making it hard to board the boat as it only went to within about a foot of the steps that the slip holder had Your slip holders were sitting on the pier blocking easy access to our boats. They did move when ask and were polite but we should have not had to keep asking. It is my plan to stay with you again but will request not to be on that pier.
We love this marina and have stayed many times in many different slips. Always a good experience.
Had a great stay. The only thing lacking was dock hands to help tie up on arrival.
This is a great escape on the "eastern shore" and an easy drive from the "western shore". The marina is well protected and convenient to restaurants, has a large pool and playgrounds for kids. The people in the neighboring slips were very helpful upon arrival and gave us some inside info on the eateries and Covid impacts (some places were closed). The staff was friendly and informative. They accept a single night on the weekend which makes it ideal for a quick overnight when the kids want to bring a friend and two nights may be too much.
We had a nice time and the service was good.
Lovely marina Nice pool Close to restaurants
Very nice family oriented marina , some changes from the past years regarding rules but otherwise very nice . I look forward on going back to stay again soon
Everyone was super friendly and clean
Fantastic stay. Will stay there again. Incredible facilities and location.
Really clean & well run. Didn’t go to pool as seemed to crowded & staff not wearing masks ...got to see a great fireworks show right from the boat.
My stay at Safe Harbor Narrows Point was great.Puts Safe Harbor Great Oaks to shame. You need to change your signs all over that say's Mears Point Marina nothing on Safe Harbor. Person at marina got upset over it when we called for Mears Point. Also there was no dock hand to help out they where more worried about Poker Run. Thank You Your slip holders are great people they help out alot.
Our favorite stop in the Northern Chesapeake Bay.
Gates not working, very difficult to get in and out of marina. Road noise from highway loud at all times of the day.
Nice marina. Facilities are well kept. Staff was helpful. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Great location, friendly slip holders and staff. Bath house is a little dated, but it is super clean and COLD!
Went to a wedding on KI, very nice. Had such a good time at morning after brunch we decided it might be best to stay another day. Mears was very accommodating. Again Dockwa was easy & great to use. Very seamless. Plus the Dockwa people we’ve met couldn’t be nicer.
