Mystic Seaport provides an ideal destination, especially for those traveling by boat. Located on the charming and historic Mystic River, we are a short distance from Long Island Sound and offer well-protected docks that are north of both the Mystic River Highway Bridge and the Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge. New this season we have installed 820' of new floating docks and new shore power.
Boaters and their guests receive complimentary museum admission while docked at Mystic Seaport. We invite you to stroll through our 19th-century seafaring village, climb aboard historic vessels, and explore exhibit halls. After visitors are gone for the day, our guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our grounds in the evening, an experience reported by many to be the most magical part of their stay.
Dockage also includes free wireless internet, power, water, and additional amenities. Downtown Mystic, located just a short walk from Mystic Seaport, offers a variety of dining and shopping options. We look forward to your visit and will do whatever possible to make your stay with us an enjoyable and memorable one.
The Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge opens on demand when no train traffic is present. The Mystic River Highway Bridge opens 40 minutes after the hour when requested. Both bridges can be hailed on channel 13.
In the off-season, please excuse any delay in response as our dock staff works part-time. Requests are checked once a day, Monday-Friday.
Great staff. Beautiful new dock. Access to Museum. The town of Mystic. Restaurants galore! Calm & quiet.
Facility outstanding and very accommodating, with interesting surroundings. Always a pleasure to see some new exhibit. Friendly and helpful staff.Peaceful after hours. An enjoyable weekend. Ask about the secret Marina Amenities.
Great dock, very proficient dock hands, beautiful new bath facilities. We had a great experience.
Fantastic place to tie up. Greg, the dock master, was a perfect host. The facilities are great, and the museum just enhanced the experience. Never disappointed with a stay at the Seaport!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Such a great place to stay. The bathroom/shower/laundry room is super nice with private stalls. It truly a magical place at night. Quick dingy ride or walk to town. Coffee shop on premises is so convenient. We are already planning a return trip!
Wonderful marina, winding up the river surrounded by picturesque view’s, great boat porn, and then top that off with old England ‘butler’s hard’ style boat yard and museum with added whale boats on speed - Simply amazing… and you get the place to yourself after the museum closes.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Welcome package includes Seaport wristbands for all onboard. Very pleasant stay on a beautiful fall day.
staff was extremely helpful with docking and information about the marina and the activities. Very clean. Great spot
Beautiful location. Interesting exhibits friendly staff
Beautiful docks, wonderful friendly staff and access to the museum was a huge unexpected bonus. We spent most of our time at the museum.
We stayed at the dock by the lighthouse this year. The dock crew helped with docking, and there is a lot to do at the museum. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay.
This place is a hidden gem! Beautiful and quiet! Great staff! Super clean.
Staff assisted on arrival and departure. Facility was clean and dock was quiet. Excellent visit, love the new bathrooms and showers for mariners.
One of the best marina/dock views/experiences on the northeast. Mystic Seaport has new docks, new electric, new bathroom/laundry/computer facilities. Staff is expert docking help and friendly. And the best part is that you get to stay in a museum at night! so cool!
As always, the staff at the Seaport make a great place to dock even better.
Mystic Seaport Museum is amazing!! With the beautiful new floating docks, clean, individual bathrooms with nice showers, free laundry in large front loaders, the price for the dockage is very fair. We will definitely be back next year!!
WOW simply WOW! The stay in Mystic was very special. The dock was lovely and the staff was terrific. Along with your dockage, you receive a wrist band to tour the Mystic Seaport Museum grounds with after hours access as well. The docks are an easy walk to town to visit Mystic Pizza or any of the other incredible restaurants, shop to your hearts content, have an ice cream or visit one of the best pastry shops in the country by an award winning chef. The Museum will thrill any boater and is one of the best we've ever visited. Set up as an 1800's whaling village with beautifully restored original buildings and 1,000's of various vessels including the Charles W Morgan, a wooden whaling sailboat built in 1841 and the oldest commercial vessel in the US fleet. Just a stop everyone needs to make! Plan for the two bridges on the way in. The highway bridge currently only opens at 40 minutes after the hour. Enjoy
Tremendous dock support on a wonderful property.
Perfect. Facilities are top notch. Free washers/dryers. Access to museum and grounds. Short walk to town. Enjoyed our stay very much.
One of THE best places to visit by boat in Nee England!
An after season phenomenal stay. Staff, as always, is superb Docks are 1st class. Could not be better m/v Searenity Rob & Tracy Kalbacher
Great Time. Dock staff was very helpful. Bathrooms were clean, new and nice. Seaport is beautiful to walk around.
The seaport crew was great. This is a place that actually appreciates and caters to its customers. The facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere of the seaport is special. Always worth the trip.
A most enjoyable stay with so much maritime history all around!
Had another great stay at the Seaport. Greg and his team were very helpful. It's always been a magical feeling to walk around the Seaport after the visitors have left for the day. Like going back in time.
Great time. We love the Seaport Museum and the staff. Dave’s fantastic.
People 5 Star Facilities 5 Star Access to Seaport Grounds 5 Star Friendly attentive staff, great floating docks, (Make sure you request floating, not all are) great boater lounge/showers/laundry, and pet friendly.
Always a fantastic port to visit! The dock master Greg and his assistant Gay are wonderful people. Always feel at home here as we come every year. The kids have a lovely time with all the museum exhibitions. Lots of restaurants in town You should book here without any concerns
Love the seaport, as always. All the history and displays, fantastic place. Only reason for 4 out of 5 was because bathrooms not very clean.
Great venue and terrific service.
Great place to stay! Perfect if traveling with children or just adults. Marina was very clean with great amenities. You get entry to the seaport museum with your stay. Short walk to downtown and great restaurants. You'll need to get through the railroad bridge, which stays open until they need to close for a train l, and the road bridge which opens at 20 minutes to the hour, so time your arrival and departure.
It is so cool to stay at the Seaport. The mariner facilities are coded for just boaters. The floating docks are well maintained and the dock hands were very helpful.
Always look forward to being here and never disappointed. I have been coming here since mid 80's. Always a great experience to see the old and discover new exhibits.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Everything is like brand new on the docks. The new bath and laundry room is amazing. Friendly staff.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities. Very relaxed atmosphere
We are so impressed with the marina and staff! We had a delay coming in and Ken offered to stay late to help us, past closing, on a Sunday night! Biggest thanks to them! The museum area is fascinating and exploring it is a treat! This is a “must do to” destination!
What a great and unique place to stay. Looking forward to my next “Night at the Museum.”
Great place to visit!! Great staff , dock master and wonderful location. My favorite destination
Really great floating dock, very informative dock hands
The new docks are first class along with the remarkable historic Mystic Seaport. Also, a shout out to Paul and MaryBeth, Mystic Seaport personnel. They did a fine job helping to secure my vessel during a parallel docking in a tight space.
Every bit of our experience was spectacular. Top not outfit.
Always a favorite stop! Great dockhands, beautiful grounds, overall great time.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay Dock attendant we’re so welcoming and helpful in getting boat in slip and patient! There is no better place than being at a seaport with so much history and we also attended seaglass festival The showers were heavenly Air conditioning and excellent water pressure and we had our own little suite! We will definitely be back!
Helpful staff at the dock on arrival. Introductory literature, bathroom code, WiFi and location information provided promptly.
The people were great and the head & showers were clean and very well maintained!
Always an excellent experience! Full access to the Seaport included with your slip fees. Great views and amenities. Quick walk to downtown Mystic. Fantastic shops, restaurants, and bars. R36 is on the waterfront for food and cocktails. Inside Seaport Marine Grounds. Great spot to wait for the bridge opening!
As always, Greg and his crew are the best and the location is unbeatable. Extended our stay but they need more dock space!!!
Excellent facilities. Membership discount on dockage. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended stop for families (or Grandparents) with young kids.
Pros: Super helpful and friendly staff Cons: going that far upriver and waiting for the bridges was a time-sink PITA
We had great time, very accommodating staff. Great location
Our favorite stop on the East Coast. For the cost of a slip (same price or cheaper than the local competition) you get a very nice facility managed by a great dock crew. But in addition you get access to the Seaport Museum and 24-hour access to the Museum grounds. It is truly wonderful to explore the grounds at sunset and to see the Morgan regally lit at night. And you're supporting the non-profit Museum. Win-win-win.
How can Mystic Seaport be anything but a 5 star marina? - The docking crew is superb! We moved twice during our stay and the crew was always ready, willing and able to help out. And then they stayed and kibitzed with us and shared lots of interesting stories. - The heads, showers and laundry are the best we’ve encountered in New England. Just superb! And all are underground so they don’t conflict with the seafaring village environment. - The ability to walk the museum grounds at night to avoid the crowds - Having time to take in exhibits that can’t all be fit into a one day visit. - The availability’s of Beetle Cats and several different rowing boats to try out. - If you’re fond of touristy places, the ability to walk into Mystic village and take in its opportunities. We’ve been members of the Seaport for 48 years and there were opportunities on this visit to do things we’ve never done before. Mystic Seaport should be high on anybody’s list of places to stop.
Awesome staff, unique location, very nice facilities, easy walk right into Mystic. What more can you ask for?
Great place to stay, all new docks all the amenities. Plenty of staff, all very professional knowledgeable.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Boater facilities include free laundry machines and dryers and clean, individual restrooms with private showers. Boaters should be aware that the pumpout boat does not operate north of the highway bridge so plan accordingly. Also the railroad bridge and highway bridge openings do not coordinate so leave plenty of time to get through the RR bridge before the once per hour highway opening (40 past the hour). You must also hail both bridges to state passage. The Seaport grounds are beautifully maintained and provide for a peaceful stay. Location is close to both Mistick Village and downtown Mystic.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities extremely clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole family had a great time.
What a fantastic stay at the Seaport Museum this weekend. Dockmaster Greg and his team are wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure my guests and I had an awesome experience. Greg helped to guide me in with my 34 Express Cruiser, tied my lines and secured my shore power. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend excursion. Thank you Greg and the whole team at the Mystic Seaport Museum for providing my 5 guests and I with a great first rate experience.
Great staff. Great facility.
Great staff to get us settled on the dock. Good services, including WiFi. We did not use bathroom or showers, so can’t comment on those. Easy access to town and great access to the museum. Being able to walk the grounds at night was wonderful. Another great visit July 2024. Greg and his team took great care of us as always. We’ll be back soon.
Excellent dock, showers, laundry. Limited food and hours. Excellent exhibits
Great dockage in the center of maritime history. Staff were wonderful and amenities were top notch. Short walk to town. If your a boater how could not love this place
We love coming to the Mystic Seaport. Greg and staff are the best!
Wonderful experience staying at Mystic Seaport. Beautiful clean facility, ability to walk around the seaport and easy walk into a vibrant town.
What a nice place to stay, great views of old time wood boats.
Greatest location, lovely staff and beautiful marina facilities.
An absolute pleasure. Greg and his staff were phenomenal. New floating docks, spit and polish showers and heads. Best facilities ever. We will be back. Love the walk into town and the beauty of the museum grounds in the off hours. And…..very very quiet.
Always wonderful to be at the Seaport. Thanks for your superb hospitality!
Great stay. Great dock. Great people. Great museum.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to mMystic Seaport Marina. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were clean , convenient and in excellent condition. This was an easy and enjoyable visit. We would definitely recommend it and do it again!
Wonderful location with comfortable baths and laundry facilities just for boaters. The docking staff are fantastic and skilled. Museum has something for everyone- great activities for kids. Museum setting is beautiful and the marina is sheltered. We felt no wakes over the entire holiday weekend. It was challenging to get the free Mystic River Pump Out boat this far north and on the other side of the draw bridge when there is so much demand further south- pump out before you arrive.
We have been visiting The Mystic Seaport Museum annually since 1986. Each stay is better than the last. They even now have floating docks! Being there after all the "guests" leave for the day is a not to be missed experience.
Perfect visit. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Great accommodations. Going back in a few weeks.
Always a wonderful time! New marina bathrooms, free laundry, enjoying the quiet of the scenic river front when the museum closes. Always treated like family since we are repeat customers.
Staying at Mystic Seaport is a magical experience. Not only are the dock staff very professional and friendly, they are there when you need them. Settling in for the night on your boat in the shadow of tall ships and maritime history is a wonderful experience !!
The staff at the marina were incredibly kind and helpful. The experience was wonderful and this is a hidden gem. We will be back again definitely!!
Greg and crew were extremely accommodating! Baths and showers were very nice.
The Mystic Seaport Museum has always been one of, if not our top, favorite stop between Key West and the Canadian border. Now with the addition of floating docks, the Mystic Seaport is even better and more welcoming to mariners. Greg, the dockmaster and his crew are top notch. And having a 19th century village all to yourself as evening descends, is truly magical. Update on 6/21/2024 - We just left the Seaport on our cruise north. As always, our stay was splendid. We hope to be back for a few days on out trip south later this year.
The transient docs and related amenities have all been upgraded to absolute top-of-the-line. The dockmaster and crew helped us get tied up on arrival And the showers and laundry facilities were fabulous. If you like traditional boats and boatbuilding, there is no better place to spend a couple of days than Mystic Seaport Museum.
We started coming to Mystic due to an owners rendezvous for the vessel but we now come at the beginning and end of our seasons due to the wonderful marina and perfect little town. Power is perfect the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location. Clean heads and showers. My wife and I highly recommend!
Fantastic stay. The facilities are really good and the dock master, Greg, is extremely helpful. Easy walk into Mystic where you find great bars, restaurants and shops.
The new bathrooms, laundry and media for marina patrons are incredible.
What an amazing place to stay! We totally loved it there. Docks in great shape, great showers and new laundry machines too. Having the giant museum village to yourself at night was really spectacular.
Staff was most helpful. Museum most interesting. Mystic is full of good restaurants.
A great place to stay. The museum and town is really excellent.
greg the dock master and his staff are excellent. docks are great and the facilities awesome
Always enjoy Mystic Seaport! Although we have reciprocal free docking down the river a bit, we would rather have the unique experience of the Seaport. Docking staff is great!
Great staff and the facility is improving every year. An awesome place to visit with so much to do for all ages.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mystic Seaport Museum. The Marina staff were very helpful.
Fabulous! Attentive as soon as we arrived. Super bath and laundry facilities. The Seaport is accessible and is not to be missed. Will come again!
Always a nice stay. Staff are very helpful & knowledgeable & the docks are beautiful. We had a great view. Our guests were very impressed with the Seaport & we all enjoyed ourselves. TY
Greg and Gaye are the best on every front. This marina is quiet, secure, and there is no wave action even last year during the hurricane that blew over. Plan to stop at S&P Oyster on your way in or out for lunch or dinner since you can dock there downtown Mystic as part of your stay.
A+….Mystic Seaport Museum's Marina has all new beautiful floating docks with excellent power for all size boats. The MSM Marina remains one of the best kept secrets for boating destinations. Soon there will be a beautiful hotel called Delamar Mystic!!!!!
Highly recommend a trip to Mystic Seaport Museum, new docks are great. Beautiful new bath facilities and boater’s lounge. Greg the Dockmaster was very accommodating and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again.
Excellent new floating docks and best hot shower in a month!!
We were there near the off season so we had the place almost to ourselves. Nice grounds and docks. New facilities are clean and modern but a little far from the docks. Walking the park after close is quite enjoyable. That’s a privilege for docking there. The town (tourist town) is close enough to walk to. Lots of restaurants, jewelry and clothing stores. If you are interested in historical sites, ship building and whaling towns Mystic seaport marina is your place. It is actually a working shipyard for vintage ships so you never know what ships might be there when you are there. Enjoy!
Great experience. Great location, facilities, decks, and a fine, friendly staff. Gay was as pleasant as any marina staff we’ve met anywhere.
Our second visit. Loved it just as much this time around.
This was our second visit but it’s been five years. The floating dock along the sea wall is a very welcome addition as is the super clean and very nice heads/showers and laundry machines (front loading, really top shelf stuff). Greg was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was no ice available but that’s a minor hit. We loved our two night stay and hope to be back next season.
Once again, we had an amazing stay at the Seaport. Greg continues to go above and beyond as usual! Grounds were spotless, all staff pleasant and courteous. Thank you again!
Greg, the dock master was awesome! We even recieved a special behind the scenes tour by Sara. So convenient staying within Mystic Seaport Museum! Includes your entrance fee as well. We will return again!
Gregg was the best. Always available to help. The facility is beautiful
Our favorite destination bar none. Fantastic marina and staff As always a great staff in a great place. Incredible views. Greg the dock master runs it very well Hope to be back soon
What a great experience, starting with pre-arrival with an email from Greg, the Dockmaster, giving us clear directions and personally welcoming us after his crew helped us dock. Mystic Seaport Museum is a "must-do" with the Mystic Seaport Museum Marina a "must-stay." For those enamored with maritime lore or history aficionados, Mystic Seaport Museum is unlike any "museum" we have visited. It is an experience. Thank you for your hospitality. P.S. Our Golden Retrievers, Maggie and Bear, had an absolute blast as well!
Perfect Day! Was able to tie up at S&P Oysterhouse.
Great floating docks, assistance to dock, and Amazing access to the seaport.
We had a great time at the seaport. Very friendly staff, nice accommodations. A great place to visit.
Clean, accommodating, and the best dock master and staff! Everything within walking distance.
We absolutely love sailing into the Mystic Seaport—especially just after Labour Day. The marina recently built additional docks, a very welcome condition. The dockmaster, Greg Zabel, greeted us with warmth, proficiency and enthusiasm. Prior to arrival, he had written several emails with the approach to the marina and suggestions whilst in Mystic. He is always generous with his time—it is evident he loves his job. And being at the Seaport always affords the meeting of fellow very interesting boaters. The Seaport is so peaceful and so well conceived, endowed and restored. Seeing our mast among the old schooner’s masts, especially during sunset, propels an anachronistic feeling and deep connection to the commitment of sailors and seamen. Also, walking the beautiful land, and sidewalks into Mystic Village is both intriguing and aesthetically pleasing. We are always sad when leaving the Mystic Seaport and we adamantly anticipate come back! Thank you, Greg and all of the gracious Seaport Staff! Adding that this year, we stayed at the start of our trip--August 1st, and had an equally magnificent time. Love the team at Mystic. and we also meet such interesting fellow-boaters. A stellar experience and a great way to commence our 5-week New England trip. We shall return to the Seaport in a few weeks. Thank you, Greg and Company!!
Greg and Team are great hosts and the docks and amenities in the North area are top notch. Just need the Seaport to invest in similar facilities for the docks near the Shipyard.
Stayed 3 nights, enjoyed every minute. The totally professional dock staff coupled with the staff of the seaport make for a great time whenever we visit.Dockage is top notch and the new Boaters Amenities facility (read showers, heads, washers and dryers) with its teak&holly flooring, multiple individual (as in your own private bath room) heads is a facility you must see/experience. Additionally, besides the multiple buildings housing many different exhibits, there is usually an event scheduled for each weekend. No disappoints...ever!
Absolutely the most helpful and courteous marina staff we have ever encountered in all our years of live aboard sailing. The seaport museum is incredible to tour and of course touring the Morgan was the highlight. Great village for dinning out in Mystic. Spend two nights!
Great grounds and facilities. Helpful dock staff
First rate, professional, courteous and beautiful. Above all expectations.
Dock staff great, professional, and very nice. Docks are beautiful. Facilities new and clean. Seaport fantastic, fun and so close to town.
Fabulous! We love the new mariners shower facilities and always enjoy staying at the seaport. Thank you!
Beautiful new marina and friendly, efficient staff. Can’t wait to return!
Lovely place, museum very interesting, staff very knowledgeable and helpful.
Awesome stay! They have the best restroom/laundry facilities of any marina we’ve ever stayed at. Greg, the dock master, was so nice and helpful. They are dog friendly (just not inside buildings). The museum was a nice perk and it was cool to walk around after hours. We brought a bike to ride into town (about a mile). Would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks Greg for everything! See you next year.
Clean new facilities. Very calm and quiet spot. The kids and the wife all enjoyed it. Will be back next year.
This is the best place to stay if you are at all interested in the history of sailing, whaling, or just want a peaceful escape from the craziness of life. The staff here are amazing and the tranquility is addictive.
Greg(Dockmaster) was great along with his staff. The help get every boat docked secured. Great facility. It was our yacht clubs third trip the Mystic Seaport and did not disappoint!
Always such a peaceful and wonderful time best docks in New England and such a special order place for my kids.
Beautiful spot to dock for an afternoon, easy on and off. Managing the bridge was tricky but just to make patrons aware it opens every hour at the 40 min mark would be helpful on the dockwa site.
Great place, new floating docks with great single and 3phase power. Good water psi. Helpful staff. Quiet and safe for kids!
Great stay. Nice floating docks. Dock personnel are top notch !!
Dock master Greg and staff are top notch. We travelled with 10 40 foot plus sailboats and he handled us without any effort at all. New showers and amenities were great. HIghly recomend the stay for any size boat and crew. THank you
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place. Worth the trouble of getting through 2 bridges!
Mystic Seaport is one of our favorite destinations. Greg and his team are very attentive. The new shower and laundry facility is excellent.
First, let me say that there are beautiful, floating docks in the center of the museum area that looked fabulous. However, for some unknown reason we were stuck on Alpha doc, which was a fixed set of old wooden (splintery) piers with a sloped dock ramp. At night there were absolutely no lights, it was very dark. We were told the Museum area closes to the public after 630 and that there was only one security gate to be used for entry, although the gate closest to our boat was left wide-open all night, and there was no noticeable security on the grounds. The bathroom facilities were clean, although very difficult to find on the grounds. In summary, this marina with the old village and museum, could be a great experience, but just make sure you don’t get assigned to Alpha doc.
Great ride in, beautiful setting. Perfect location to downtown.
Always great, guests loved it. Staff was friendly. The channel coming in was very hectic on a Sunday for a big boat.
Nice staff. Beautiful docks. Very well kept. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Dock staff was efficient , amenities where great, and the sea wall where we tied up was new. I would highly recommend Mystic and we will be back.
Staff was spot on. Amenities are top notch and to be able to see this living museum as part of the dock fee is over the top!. A must. We will be back again (this is our third trip )
Dock staff was very helpful. Great laundry, shower and bathrooms facilities. Wish the were not below ground, but understand they may be moved to the new hotel currently being build just south of the floating peers. Being able to roam the grounds after closing is really nice. Thanks for a great stay and all you do to promote marine history.
This was our first trip to the museum and we loved it! Extremely helpful staff, hotel worthy bathrooms and showers, and, of course, the museum is amazing! We will be back!
Very friendly and helpful dock hands. Beautiful marina to be able to view the grounds after hours over all great experience!!!!!!
Always great and Dock master was great and friendly
Always a great time! Fantastic dock crew and amenities.
We had an excellent time and we loved the history of the museum, they run a first class operation and Greg the dockmaster was a pleasure.
Quiet, friendly welcoming staff, immaculately clean. Much to see and learn.
Very cool place. Staff was awesome. Really close to downtown Mystic. Definitely recommend.
Excellent facility. Great amenities. Friendly staff very impressed.
Staff was super helpful and friendly. Showers spotless!
First class in every category. Staff & facility were great.
I would say the marina is by far the best marina we have stayed in from ‘Massachusetts to NY. The docks, the staff and all the amenities are outstanding! Well done Mystic Seaport Museum Marina, Greg, Sarah and all of the staff! Thank you for accommodating all 12 boats and the amazing customer centric experience!
This is by far my favorite marina. Dockmaster Greg and his crew do an excellent job coordinating arrivals and departures and the facility is fantastic. The new docks are amazing and the bathrooms are fantastic. Being inside the museum is the best part. Coordinating the two draw bridges is a minor inconvenience but it is well worth it.
Greg and the staff were very accommodating! The grounds and exhibits are exquisite!
2023 looks even better at the Seaport—some new additions, including the Marina Guest Lounge and Water Taxi/Tour. The Lounge includes a TV/media room, workstations (if you bring that along), state-of-the-art laundry machines, and six new private bathrooms/showers. The lounge, located in a cool place, uses an access code based on the year the Mystic Seaport was established. Finally, the new access to a water taxi/tour to and from downtown is fantastic and includes some Seaport History. Dockmaster Greg is fantast, as are Gaye and Richie; what a team. Notable mention to the new summer staff, eager to assist in making your stay pleasant. Hopefully, you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Happy Boating
Great facilities, lovely setting, amazing dock master and support AND you get free admission to the museum.
Fantastic place Alot to do everyone was so nice and helpfull
Great place, great staff, beautiful amenities (new boaters showers/heads)
Nice floating docks. Facilities are brand new. Free washer and dryer! And the museum and displays are awesome. The dock fee was way above our comfort zone but it was one of those now or never situations. We're glad we did it. Well worth it.
New Docks and the same wonderful Staff. This is a great place for the family. We always have a great time.
Great upgrade to docks and facilities for boaters recently. The museum never disappoints.
Our favorite place to visit! While it is a trek for us, we really look forward to it. Facilities are terrific and the staff is terrific! They know boats and they work hard to keep everyone happy.
Great location, helpful staff Pilings, not floats
Great spot just make sure you time the highway bridge. It only opens once and hour. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good, enjoyable, lot's to do, near the town -- all that you would hope for a marina. Very nice and helpful staff. Carefully follow the channel to get there. The information and communication was superb by the marina staff , well done!. We had all the info around bridge openings, eatry places way before we arrived.
We had a great stay and highly recommend it. Mystic Seaport itself is an interesting experience. The marina has new docks and systems. The crew meets you when you arrive with all the info you might need. The new “boaters lounge” has immaculate bathrooms and showers, new laundry facilities and a comfortable lounge area in air conditioning that is all just for visiting boaters. There is a town/state run pump out boat that comes conveniently to your boat and monitors the vhf. The two bridges on the river are a bit of a pain, but worth the wait. Downtown Mystic is a short walk away. We did miss the art gallery and Seaman’s Inn restaurant and were disappointed the Sabino was not operating. But the marina and the facilities are awesome.
This was our third visit to Mystic and the first in four years. What beautiful new shower facilities! Your customer service is second to none. Loved our visit. Thanks very much!
The dock attendants were very helpful and friendly. Love the new air conditioned showers and laundry facility!
Best Marina in connecticut! Simply the absolute best dock master!
Dockhands were excellent and helped us get securely tied up. As we were on the older docks, they had a fender board for us since the tide swing is 6ft. The docks there were a bit tired and the wifi spotty at best. However we were right by the shipyard and it was really fun to wander the grounds at our leisure after hours. Excellent coffee shop just outside the Seaport. Easy to come and go after hours as security monitors the after hours gate.
We had a great stay at MSM. The staff were very courteous and assisted us in docking our boat. We’ll be back.
The staff at the Sea Port are very congenial and accommodating. The place is gorgeous. I would recommend it as a highlight in any voyage. I will be back.
fantastic experience to have the Seaport all to yourself before and after regular museum hours! Nice shower and bathroom facilities in a private area. We were side to against a floating dock with the rest of our cruising group. I'd say the only downside was the construction going on at the north end of the museum complex but that will be short lived. Easy walk into town and quiet at night. A special place to tie up! Nice staff too
One of my favorite cruising destinations. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Protected and calm.
No other place like it so worth going up the river and waiting for the bridges to open. Dockmaster is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Marina is very well maintained while the views on land and water are serene. The Museum has a lot to offer any boater. We hadn’t gone since Covid and really missed this special place.
Fabulous. So much fun being in the Seaport and the facilities are awesome! Great staff, beautiful heads, showers, laundry. Hate to leave!
Very nice facilities and wonderful museum campus.
Outstanding new floating dock, heads and laundry. Dockmaster and crew incredibly proficient and helpful!
MSM is a wonderful, historic recreation to visit, no matter how one gets here. But, coming by boat and staying in their marina is a special treat. The dock hands and dockmaster Greg went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. Rare flooding kept us a couple of days more than we had planned and Greg and Chris at MSM could not have done to help us stay at the dock. Highly recommended.
Greg and his team meet each boat at the dock and handle lines, electricity and water if necessary. This year he saved me by providing an extra 30 amp cable so I could run both my A/C units on what felt like the hottest day of the year. Their new 'boater's locker room' is fantastic with 6 individual shower/bath units, commercial washer/dryers and a lounge. A wonderful marina experience!
We stayed two nights. Everyone was very nice and the new docks are wonderful. The laundry and shower/bathroom facilities are some of the best around. We enjoyed exploring the museum and poking around town. This is now one of our favorite spots.
Great slips good right near the Morgan dock staff excellent
Our annual stay at the Mystic Seaport Museum is always the delight of our summer. The marina staff is very professional and accommodating.
Excellent marina. Beautiful setting nestled right in the middle of the Mystic Seaport Museum. Marina guests get free museum passes for your entire stay ($29 value each). Plenty of good restaurants. Easy docking. Greg the dock master is a great guy, very helpful and accommodating. Sparkling clean bathrooms and showers just for boaters.
Such a pleasure, as usual. The dock staff were super-friendly and the replacement boater facilities (new construction did away with the previous setup) are very nice.
Beautiful and historic. Great family trip. Sail boats have no concern for a tall mast both draw bridges can accommodate you all the way to the floating docks at the museum
The whole experience from arrival to departure was a 10. Marina and museum staff were all engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. The slip was right in the museum area on a floating dock. The museum was huge and incredible. Very authentic and interactive. Highly recommended.
The Greg and the dock staff and museum were excellent - as always! However, there was a film crew while we were staying at the Mystic dock. The crew asked us to be quiet when they were filming - which we were - but when they packed up at 4 am they made all kinds of noise, talking, laughing, trucks beeping as they backed up. The whole dock was woken up. Most inconsiderate. Mystic should give the film crew the same rules that the film crew gave us! The other issue is that Mystic is expanding and foundations for a new building are being worked. This means that there was an incredibly noisy pile driver working from about 8 am until the afternoon every day a few feet from the slips - hardly a nice quiet atmosphere for an otherwise fabulous museum. Mystic Seaport does fantastic work and we support them whole heatedly and we will be back - but for this visit - ugg....
Greg and team were great as always. Amazing town.
Staff extremely helpful, marina facilities very nice and setting is beyond compare.
Excellent facilities and an outstanding dock staff. They came in early to help us get off the dock so we could catch the early AM bridge.
VERY CONVENIENT AND A GREAT VALUE FOR A DAY TRIP.
Awesome. Major dock and electric upgrades. The folks who work there are lovely. Great location.
Beautiful place, nice floating docks, Dockmaster and staff extremely accommodating. We will be back!
Great place for a few day stay. Excellent staff
Great people here always helpful in anyway they can.
This is a wonderful Marina. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and updated. They even have a washer and dryer that can be used by guests. And of course Mystic is a really fun town with lots to do.
Excellent stay, highly recommended. Very friendly and beautiful facilities. Will be back.
Friendly, great amenities, super-clean bathrooms, wifi, enjoying a historic site. What's not to love (except the two bridges you need to time to get there:)
The marina staff was very helpful when we arrived. The new floating docks have water and electric available. New bathrooms with with showers are great. There is lounge area with a TV for the marina users. It is always fun to be at the Seaport after dark!
Extremely knowledgeable staff! Very helpful on approach and docking! Would highly recommend a boating visit here! There’s so much to see and learn and a lot of information of the sea!
Mystic Seaport by boat is always a wonderful experience!! The Seaport offers such a wide range of options for exploring. The grounds and buildings are so well kept and offer all ages an experience to be remembered. Our group had a private tour which was awesome!! The new floating docks are definitely an improvement and make boat access so easy! Improvements in the town - new cobble stone walks, spectacular new exhibits - Story Boats, live music, and more!! Put it on your cruising list. Everyone working at the dock office and grounds very welcoming and helpful! Unfortunately we were rafted with a larger power boat after asking for easy on and off at a dock. Thankfully no incidents occurred getting on and off. Lifting a 65 pound dog to and from shore was challenging.
Docking staff was fantastic. Multiple staff members standing at the ready to help with lines as we approached the Seaport. Could not be more attentive to our docking needs. Beautiful setting. Quick walk (15 minutes) to downtown Mystic.
Great dock space at the fabulous Mystic Seaport! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Obviously, access to the Museum grounds is the main draw plus the docks are new and the space is at the top of the Mystic River; very quiet and picturesque yet an easy walk/bike/dink to the Mystic village. We ended up staying 3 more days beyond our planned stop. Highly recommend!
A truly magical place with wonderful staff. Will be back!
For location and ambiance, five stars! Amazing place! Lovely town(s), great restaurants, Welcoming spectators as we passed through the drawbridges. Hospitality and facilities -not so much, for our pre-season visit. Cantankerous bridge operators. No showers, no laundry, no pump out (closest is a two hour round trip away!). No warm water in the nearby restroom. Ice wasn’t on site, but our host tracked it down for us, much appreciated. Great place to visit, but we didn’t find basic cruising services.
This marina is our favorite place on the East Coast. Greg, Gaye and the Mystic Seaport staff make every visit exceptional. The new floating docks make it so easy to get off the boat to explore the museum and the town. And "living" at the museum feels like stepping back in time. Highly recommended!
Staff was friendly and welcomed us warmly. The restrooms were spotless, heated and comfortable. The dockage was all brand new! Truly a 5 star marina and the Seaport Museum is fabulous!
Excellent facilities and staff. They responded immediately when we radioed our pending arrival, gave concise instructions on dock location, and were there to assist with docking and check-in. Beautiful place to spend a couple of nights.
Bathroom was too chilly for me to shower or I would have given the seaport a 5 star rating.
Excellent great time already talking about coming back next year. Greg was friendly and very helpful!
Great as always. The new floating docks are much easier tying up to than the granite wall.
wow! MSM is amazing! The sick hand was so helpful and all the instructions were perfect. Very clean and runs a right ship! the museum is a plus along with the restaurant’s plus security.
The only down sides are price and the food on site.. Facility, dock, Dockmaster, people are all excellent. Food and dockage are both overpriced but it is Mystic Seaport Museum. Everything in Mystic is expensive for cruisers.
Awesome facility worth it the price all day. Excellent museum.
Dock hands were helpful, bathrooms were very clean access in and out was easy and I mistakenly paid for 2 days and the group was getting the second day free. They refunded me without any issue. Thanks for a great but cold weekend. Bruce
Mystic Seaport is always a nice stop. always a few interesting boats visiting .
Great dock master Greg was right there to help Got to stroll the great grounds. Faculty was clean and very close to downtown Mystic
From instructions before arrival to being welcome by the personnel to receiving attention to all our questions, our stay was perfect. The museum is exceptional and it was a perfect weekend. We recommend it to anyone.
Mystic Seaport has to be one of the most unique and enjoyable marinas ever. To be allowed to immerse yourself in the midst of a historical park and yet have easy access to a very cute downtown is a joy. And the new docks are fabulous, Greg the Harbormaster is fabulous and everyone who works there is fabulous. We are looking forward to returning next year. -Summer Star
New floating docks are a great addition! The staff was friendly and helpful.
The new floating dock is a fantastic compliment to historic seaport museum grounds! The Seaport is walking distance to downtown Mystic's restaurants and shops. We LOVED our stay and will come back again next year.
These people could not have been any nicer or more welcoming. We were really impressed by their willingness and effort to be accommodating.
Excellent crew, very helpful and energetic. Calm and collected despite multiple yachts all arriving together. Like the new docks.
The dockhands were great. Very helpful and informative. It was magical to be on the grounds when the museum was closed.
The new floating docks with Epi decking are fantastic. One day is not enough to take in all that the Seaport offers.
Always a great stop. Exhibit staff is very knowledgeable! Model building club (who knew the Seaport had one !?!?) has exhibition space now and was super engaging. Sadly, breakfast sandwiches in the gift shop cafe were unappetizing.
Mystic Seaport Marina has to be the best value in boating. The docking crew is always ready to help you tie up. The electricity is included. Wi-Fi is strong. The views………. You and everyone on your boat gets the entire museum included. Then there’s down town Mystic and the 100 year old famous draw bridge. Mystic Aquarium is just up the road. I’ll stop now.
It was a toss up between here and another marina with a pool for the kids. We chose the seaport and wouldn't think twice about doing it again! In the words of a friend who pushed us to stay here... Magical. Greg bent over backwards to accommodate us and the kids cant wait to come back. It was a quick and easy bike ride both into town and to the aquarium. If your on the fence about where to stay in Mystic... HERE!!!
It is always a great experience visiting Mystic Seaport Museum. It is especially great to arrive by boat!
We love staying at the seaport! the new docks are wonderful!
Greg was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!
Excellent staff! Very accommodating for our group. Highly recommend!
Five Stars says it all! Great facility, Location, Staff
Staff and dock hands were more than great!! Private tour of the Collections Building was awesome. Everyone was so helpful for helping our group to have a very comfortable and memorable weekend. We love this place !!!
It was a pleasure to dock in the midst of so much history and with such great service providers. The bridges need to be timed but that is just logistics.
The new docks are beautiful. The staff is great!
Friendly and helpful staff. Dock service was great!
This is a must stop. The visiting docks are new with restrooms and showers nearby. The staff is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed. Of course, its right at the Seaport Museum, and you get grounds privileges after hours. The Museum is wonderful, only comparable to the land based Williamsburg, VA.
Lived up to all the hype. Quiet, idyllic, beautiful, welcoming, friendly. The dock staff were wonderful. We received clear arrival and departure instructions once our reservation was confirmed. The nearby town was quite nice to walk as well. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
Our stays at Mystic are always fantastic! Dock staff is friendly and helpful, and make us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!
Brand new docks, great staff, Greg dockmaster super accommodating, restrooms are modern and very clean. Bonus of free roam of the Seaport museum, and only a 20 min walk into town, 5 min by dinghy! The Tavern just steps from the docks is a great option for linch and dinner.
Top notch service and hospitality .
Chris has a very professional team onboard. Greg and his crew are the real staff. Knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and ready to help on command. Far superior staff service than most marinas where we have been. I SHALL come back here ! 😉😎
Greg Zabel, dockmaster, and his crew were phenomenally helpful and friendly people. It’s these kind of folks that you love to meet when coming into Port for a little holiday.
Excellent. Beautiful dock and excellent dock hands
Excellent setting, quiet marina. Walking distance to the center of Mystic for restaurants and shopping. It was really nice to visit the quality museum at a leisurely pace.
Always 5 stars. Friendly, helpful and a great team. Manager Greg is always a pleasure. r
Always one of the best places for boaters...Great place and town
Just awesome! Brand new super fancy docks, great staff, sparkly clean washrooms and an absolutely fantastic Museum! Hope to come back later this summer.
The Seaport is one of most favorite stops. The staff can't be better. Always ready, willing and able to assist. Have stayed in the Seaport many times over the last 30+ years and each time is better than the last. Kudo's to all at the Seaport for making our stay so great.
Stayed 3 nights. Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately no burgees available for new members.
Such a unique place! Docking could get tricky if you are placed closer to the South entrance but the team is super helpful. We will be back!
Greg and Gay and all the staff are great. Very helpful with everything! We love just hanging out here because it's such a fun and comfortable place to be. Love the new floating docks. Wish we could be on one of those next time! Thx, Cap'n Bill
Very private clean marina, staff was awesome and friendly, bridges are annoying if your on a time schedule of trying to beat bad weather but would still come back for a longer stay
Low voltage at docks but beautiful new docks and very friendly staff
Great place for a getaway and change of scene. Even though the museum exhibits were closed it was great to walk the grounds and have peace and quiet while docked. Marina staff were outstanding!
Great place to visit. Very friendly helpful dock staff. Fabulous new floating docks. Easy walk to town for great restaurants.
Helpful staff, new docks, clean facilities. Fantastic museum. Great town. Enjoyed our stay
Magical. Aside from all the normal exhibits that the Museum has to offer there was music on Saturday and Sunday afternoon that upped the atmosphere and raised the bar out of reach for any other Marina. After dark walking the streets of the Seaport you are lost in time under the stars. Dawn was even better. (0500) Not a soul with me aside from the birds and rabbits starting the day. Everywhere you looked there were reflections of history on flat water. Fate brought me to walk along Hobey's Dock and a memorial to Hobart Ford, Jr. , Lost in Action at Sea, April 29th, 1945. Not lost on me was the fact tat I was standing there, alone, at dawn on Memorial Day, 77 years later. A personal Thank You to Gunners Mate 2nd Class Hobart Ford Jr. for his ultimate sacrifice. SV Far Out Tom & Lisa Firsching - Caretakers (PS. New floating docks installed last week are a very welcome upgrade.)
Very friendly and efficient staff that go out of their way to make your stay great.
I stayed because I always wanted to tie up at the Seaport. There might be nicer marinas nearby but it isn’t the Seaport! The people there were great especially considering it was a last minute reservation. Very accommodating, with power and water at the slip. Happy to lend power cord or help tie up if need be. They will have new dockage completed very soon which will be much nicer, but for my purposes my slip was good and the proximity to everything outside of the Seaport was great. For me it was worth every penny!
Great location, Greg and his staff were great. Amenities were clean. Always nice to be in mystic
My family and I loved this place. Stayed 3 days, very peaceful and calming location. Access to the old seaport at all times was very nice and great place to take a stroll at night or sunset and sunrise. Bathrooms and showers for boaters were very clean and private from the public bathrooms. Pet friendly facility and just a 10 minute walk to downtown Mystic shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming and the park is safe and has gated security access in and out of the park. Easy docking in and out. Will definitely be visiting again!
Wonderful visit. Museum exceeds expectations. Staff was great on docking instructions and assistance. Really, one of our best overall experiences, and, of course, Mystic Pizza
Upon arrival immediately greeted and assisted with tying up boat and shore power. Very helpful staff with dining suggestions and access to museum was fabulous. Wish we could have stayed longer! Will be back.
MSM is now among our very favorite locations to visit. Surrounded by historical whaling ships and other craft, our 55' Kadey Krogen trawler weathered the passing remnants of Hurricane Ida easily, and without a sense a major system passing us. The harbormaster, Greg, has a voice that will ease any captain into an unfamiliar marina, provided a fender board for our use, and shared the background of this extraordinary seaport museum and still active ship builiding/restoration location. Decent wifi and power, and you could easily spend a week and not see all this museum/town/marina has to offer. The museum staff clearly love their work, and include many with extensive knowledge of whaling history, seamanship, or wookworking. Tour the Charles W. Morgan, a whaling ship from the 1800's, currently being refurbished. An easy walk north through beautiful landscape takes you to an Aquarium (will have to see next year--no time this year), groceries and more. Head south from the marina and you'll find a plethora of restaurants/bars/shops in an idyllic maritime village. We became a museum member because it reduced the price of our slip fees. But after our visit, we'll likely want to remain a member to ensure this gift to maritime and history fans will remain healthy. You do not want to miss this port. Highly recommend. Thanks, Greg, for kindly and patiently answering my plethora of pre-docking questions, and for helping to make our stay so memorable. See you next Spring.
This spot is not to be missed. The protected Anchorage is calm and gorgeous. The facilities are amazing, and when the tourists leave, you have the run of the Seaport. It really makes you feel like you have gone back in time. Plus, it is a short 15 minute walk or even shorter dinghy ride to town in case you need anything additional Or want to grab dinner, drinks or ice cream. This is our fifth year and we look forward to coming back next year.
Dock staff extremely helpful. Mystic seaport is a charming town; as well as a historical educational destination.
The only problem was that the power was inconsistent and failed at times. The location was excellent and the people attending the docks were superb.
Totally worth the wait for the bridges, as it's a really charming location. It's a few minutes walk into town, but scenic when you do.
Mystic Seaport is a fantastic place to visit by boat. Cruise in to the 1800s. Dock near a Whaling ship or old Clipper. The museum is a great place. The Marina is one of the best. All of the people are friendly, always there to help. Greg is wonderful. He has the best crew working with him. Kenny and Gay are both nice and caring people. Sometimes we feel like were going back just to visit with them. We would highly recommend visiting.
Fantastic location! Staff was terrific. Hope to get back there soon.
awesome destination. Need to clean up men's room showers...mold
The dock master was great. Dealing with many boats coming at one time and she was so professional and did a great job tying up our vessel. Went over everything with us. The museum was beautiful and very nice to walk threw.
Great staff, every one was friendly and helpful, we would have extended our stay if there had been availability. The grounds are well kept and the exhibits are excellent. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the evening after the museum closed with our dog. We will definitely stop again on our way south in fall.
Perfect venue…lots of room, easy access to town w bikes. Clean and plenty of things to see at the musiem
The Dock Master and entire dock crew are helpful, customer service focused and just great people while being professional . The marina is beautiful and special with all that the history and opportunities to learn that Mystic Seaport Musium can offer. It is one of my favorite places to visit.
Great facility with a very helpful and competent staff
Fabulous facility! Terrific, cordial, and helpful staff! A wonderful place to visit! Thank you!
Mystic Seaport is a wonderful place to visit. As a marina destination there are several issues. First, the bridges are a hassle every time we visit - hard not to have to wait for an opening. Second, if you’re traveling with a group the seaport will raft you. We were assigned a bulkhead location rafted with another boat. So we wound up with a fiberglass view to port and museum tourists to starboard. No soap in restroom and wi-fi very slow. Staff was helpful. Add a star if you’re into the museum but there are easier ways to visit Mystic south of the bridges, especially given the price.
Very accommodating, will definitely be going back.
The place is amazing, The dock hands are professional.
Fun as always! Except for the loud music at y the he catering facility, although it did stop promptly at 10pm.
The mystic Seaport Museum is an excellent stop for anyone interested in boats. But this is a review of the marina, not the Museum. We did not use any of the shoreside marina facilities (bathrooms, showers), so we can’t comment. We were docked at a fixed pier, and the intertidal range was about 3 ft—not ideal, but not a big problem. There are floating docks, but I think we may have been too long (~50ft) for the floating-dock slips. The marina is more thoughtful than most in providing fender boards to address the challenge of aligning fenders with pilings at its fixed piers. Mystic Seaport lies on the Mystic River above 2 bridges (railroad bridge & highway bridge) with closed clearances of only a few feet. Nothing but a low dinghy can pass under them. The opening times of the highway bridge are once per hour in summer—a major factor in cruise planning. The railroad bridge is more flexible except when a train is approaching, but these two timing constraints may interact inconveniently. Read about them elsewhere. Importantly & positively, the dock staff is superb: capable, informative & friendly. The town of Mystic has good restaurants & fun shops. The town offers a public dinghy dock a couple of blocks upriver from the bridges. The dock staff can tell you where it is. Anyway, less than 5 stars because of bridges & fixed docks.
What a fabulous 3 days we had at Mystic Seaport Museum! From our spot next to the Amistad, we had a front row seat to all the activities at the museum. The staff at the museum were all very friendly and provided top notch service. Access to downtown Mystic and its restaurants and shops was a very easy and pleasant stroll. Plenty to do and see at the museum; the exhibits and associated staff were incredibly knowledgable and personable. If you sail, take advantage of the incredibly reasonable ($15/hr) cat boat rentals and take a cruise up the river to the highway bridge... well worth it! All in all, we highly recommend a visit here. I know we will be returning!
The staff was exceedingly attentive with docking, electrical hookups and procuring ice. Overall we enjoyed the museum. The museum is within walking distance into town
Our second time to sail here and this was even better than the first. We were docked at the north end and it is exquisite--beautiful open bay, very rural. Watching the kids on their boats was great entertainment. The whale exhibit was excellent, and the facility for visiting sailors was very close and very clean. A delight.
The dock staff were very good at helping with docking. We came with 11 boats and they packed us in tight and safely. They also helped with pushing us off when we left the next day. They were very professional.
Well run dock , friendly dockmaster and crew. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Made look like a better captain than I am. 20/20
The most amazing stuff ever! Greg makes it a personalized experience. Thank you. Thank you.
Love the Seaport Village! Dock crew is always so friendly and accommodating. Very Unique and enjoyable cruising destination.
Great spot, with lots to see. Great, attentive, helpful and knowlegable staff to assist with docking and departing.
Always a wonderful spot no matter how many times you visit.
Super nice location, people and the history OMG! Have not been back to the museum since the late 70's when I was young. So cool to be able to tie our boat up inside the Museum and walk around at will. Walking around after hours was nice as it was cooler and no crowds. We needed a package shipped in and a return out and the staff was SUPER helpful in making that happen for me. A short walk into the town of Mystic was well worth the effort to visit Mystic Pizza, S&P Oysters, and the ice cream shop next to the bridge was fun and tasty! Look forward to returning at some point! God bless all the volunteers that make the museum successful! DONATE! Preserve the maritime history, this place is doing GREAT things IMO....
A must go to spot! Great dockmaster and deckhands. See something new every day.
Excellent stay and fun Marina. Had some pedestal problems and they immediately got an extension for another pedestal.
The dock staff were very friendly and helpful. The Seaport grounds are always fun and interesting to explore. It is an easy walk to Mystic with lots of nice shops and restaurants.
Like a candy store to a kid… If you love sailing and the sea, you cannot miss this place. Dock staff is super helpful and very professional, will definitely return for a longer stay!
From a great greeting to our hail, dock master meet us made sure all of our needs were meet. Kept checking in on us. Very nice stay.
Greg and the dock staff are the best. Walking the grounds at night is a must-do.
Outstanding place to stay. Easy walk to downtown. Have full access to the museum grounds after hours. We got an added bonus of a private tour of the museums boat collection.
Great dock assistance, facilities and a peaceful view!
Great facility. Dockhands and Dockmaster Greg) went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
Stayed at the marina over the weekend. Enjoy the Panorama of whaling industry. Received a behind the scenes tour offered to our group.
We highly recommend mystic seaport. Great place for kids. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will be back!
This was a magical experience for us, staying in a museum! You have access to the whole site at all hours! "A night at the Museum" movie come true! They have all kinds of cool activities every day, everyone is just so so very nice, the bathroom and shower house is great, small walk to downtown Mystic and Old Town, it was all just perfect. Oh and the internet is really good.
Nice small marina in the Seaport. You can stroll around the museum before and after it closes and get a real feel for the the history here.
The marina was great, and staying at the seaport museum overnight is an amazing experience! The bathroom and showers were spotless!
Terrific place, scenery in and across from facility see Iñiguez and beautiful, so much to do, a treasure!
Great visit, as always. We’re surrounded by beautiful old ships and all the great Seaport exhibits are just steps away. We’ll definitely be back, often!
Great spot on the river. Friendly helpful staff and great shower facilities. Super fun to walk the Seaport before they open and watch the work of caring for these iconic vessels.
great location for all things Mystic related. Access to the history of the whaling community is an amazing plus. Dock mistress Gay was busy but still took great care of us. We make this an annual stop !!
Dock hand was phenomenal. Plenty of amenities. Super clean. All “public” areas were locked for “yachtsman” only. Perfect Covid getaway.
Beautiful spot. No working wifi but otherwise, great service from the Seaport staff.
Mystic Seaport never disappoints. Helpful staff; will be back!
As always, Mystic Seaport was welcoming, flexible and accomodating.
Staff was responsive and very helpful docking and departure. The museum itself is terrific. A staff member gave us a personal tour of the archive in the old velvet mill. A remarkable collection of marine items from early outboards and all manner of inboard engines to the prototype dyer dow.
Amazing 2-day stay. Docking was easy with the assistance of Greg. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Being able to walk the grounds of the Seaport is a great experience and makes for a unique stay.
Nice place to visit with kids. Very close to the town of Mystic , which is pleasant also.
Great place to stay in Mystic. Helpful, professional staff. Quiet, little wave action because the river is narrow there. Note that pump-out services on the Mystic river are limited to one boat and they are generally busy. Only Monday through Friday.
The service and staff were excellent. I was surprised to see a large flag flying high on one of the ships masts in support of a political organization. I would rather support an educational organization who did not publicly engage in that type of political activity. Thank you Vincent
It was excellent quiet relaxing and great dock staff for help. Will definitely come back.
Beautiful place for a few nights stay . Friendly and helpful staff - Rich was great !
An amazing location, lots to see, close to town. We especially loved the NUB, the new exhibit building, a modern interpretation of an 1800 whaling ship. You will not be disappointed.
The staff is very helpful, the area is safe and lots to do. The bulkhead slips need some updating and the Outside water hook up is far away and needs multiple hoses. It’s a nice place to stay and enjoy the area and all it has to offer.
Beautiful location and very helpful and competent staff. Met us at the dock and helped us secure the boat and settle in.
When you stay at the Seaport you are free to roam the grounds after closure which places you back in time.
Great atmosphere and a safe alternative during Covid. Large spread out outdoor exhibits and terrific staff
All was well, helpful staff, wonderful boating experience see you soon
What a fantastic venue to dock in! We enjoyed the off-hours access to the museum. The surroundings are beautiful. The dockmaster, Greg was extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgable. We had a great experience!
Had a great time - only wish more exhibits were open although we understood the limitations due to Covid. The staff were very helpful and nice
Staff is always top notch, Rich would not leave until we were entirely satisfied with the tie-up and utilities. Even with partial closures due to COVID-19 it was very enjoyable to spend some mid-week time at the museum. We'll be back!
Greg is an outstanding dock master and employee.
Great facility. Lots to see and do unlike many marinas that have nothing to offer inside or outside the gates. We were especially lucky because they had an antique car show on one of the days we were there and we got to see the cars for free.
Great stay right in the Seaport with free admission included. Restrooms clean and convenient. Fun staying right in the midst of maritime history.Short walk into town for many restaurants and shops.
The Seaport is always amazing on our stay there this year we were treated to a running antique engine exhibit and we really enjoyed the Fireboat.
Mystic Seaport staff are helpful, communicative, and eager to see that a boater's needs are taken care of. As a Mariner level member of the Seaport, I also get a discount on the dockage. Being at the Seaport at night, after the crowds are gone, is magical.
We never miss a summer without going to Mystic Seaport. Our children are now grown adults and they insist we stop at least two nights at the Seaport. The staff, as always, is courteous and attentive.
Staying on he grounds of the museum makes it special. Docks and facilities are just ok. Staff is attentive and friendly. You can spend all day exploring the museum and the towns close
Great place to stay, the historic ships and buildings are incredible. Very well kept. Dock staff is awesome
Staff was incredible. Such a great experience to stay in a uniquely special place. We’ll be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are clean and well-kept. The use of the seaport after hours was fun, we had been there during the day before but it was interesting to see it at night. We were really impressed with the dock staff. They were well organized, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit.
We LOVE to visit the Seaport. The staff (Greg, Ken, Gay and all the others) are kind, helpful and welcoming. We love the free nights program. We can't wait to go back!
Amazing place, great service and the surroundings are beautiful. Plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained.
We always enjoy going to the seaport; it is a special place. The dock hands are knowledgeable and very helpful to all your needs. Our view of the Seaport at Mystic has not changed over the years!!
I hate to rave about how amazing this facility is because I’d like to keep it for ourselves. Truly a highlight of traveling the New England coast. Great staff and experience. Full 5 starts because there aren’t 10 to award.
No place is better to dock than Mystic Seaport! Staff and facilities are great. More importantly, it's magical being there before and after the museum opens. A must visit place for all boaters. S/V Cynosure
We have visited Mysic Seaport by boat several times over the years. It is always an enjoyable and unique experience. The bathrooms are clean. Being late in the season (Monday of Columbus Day weekend) it was the least crowded we have seen it. In fact we were the only boat there. We got some great pictures of the historic ships lit up at night. We will certainly be back.
It was so awesome staying at Mystic Seaport Museum. Greg the dockmaster was so helpful and friendly making sure we had everything we needed. The museum itself was amazing and that we had access to it after hours was even cooler. It was an easy walk to great restaurants. Our only gripe, not the marinas fault, was that we were docked right next to a 100 foot yacht who ran their exhaust belching generator all day and night. Stinky and noisy. Other than that our stay was fabulous, cant wait to return.
We love the Seaport! Warmly greeted by dock master with clear instructions, docking assistance and a comprehensive information packet describing current exhibits, a schedule of museum activities, and fun things to do at nearby Mystic village.
Fabulous place to visit. The museum, the staff, the local couldn’t be better. Great showers, restaurants. Everything!
We are members of the museum and this is one of our favorite places to stay. Great staff clean showers, laundry. Wonderful shops and stores nearby. So much to do and see!
Gray stay - helpful staff and beautiful grounds. Could only wish for a floating dock. A bit of a hike to town but Uber readily available.
Always a fun place to stay. Great staff at docking office.
Cool concept and really worth the stop for the museum, especially for kids. Dockhand was full of hustle, but not the most knowledgeable (A+ for effort and friendliness). Unfortunately, we had to use all of our hoses plus some of the marinas to get fresh water to reach the boat. 240v electric was a challenge at only 200v, so our electric motors were all overheating and not functioning properly, most particularly A/C and it was hot and humid. Had to cycle genny and do my own multimeter diagnostics on all dock power, which was far from the boat due to earlier arrivals getting the limited number of close hookups. I think I had a total combination of 5 50/30a power cords to get power to the boat. Last gripe, the heavy rain causes certain slips leasees to walk through gravel and grass, making a total mess of the boats. All in all, still just shy of a 5 star experience. Would definitely go back.
Unique experience and some helpful dockhands! Thank you.
Perfect in every respect. Easy dockage along wall, strong reliable wifi and surely one of the very special places to have a boat alongside the Charles Morgan and Joseph Conrad!
Helpful dock hands Nice and quiet place-not many slips Short walk to town
We had not been to the Mystic Seaport in several years do it was nice to get back. The dock hands were very nice. The shower facilities were a long way from our slip but having the Seaport admission included in the slip fee was a super perc.
Great time at the seaport, pleasant friendly staff at the dock. Issues with the dock. It is a long climb up at low tide and required fender boards, which were supplied, because of the pilings. A warning, If towing a dinghy, place it along side your hull. Some one else left their's on the tow line and the dink went under the dock at low tide. In the morning at high tide, it was trapped under the dock and they had to wait for the tide to drop before they could leave.
The booking process for a slip was easy and fast. As instruced, we called the dockmaster after clearing the highway bridge. We received clear insructions and directions. Dockmaster Greg was there to meet us and help secure the boat. The head and shower facilities were spotless...the museum was Amazing . Special thanks to Chris for a tour of the archive facility We’ll be back !!!
Incredible and unique experience -- would highly recommend.
Very accommodating staff, wonderful historic environment, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were entertained and educated at the same time! Lorraine and Tony Shepley
The Seaport was great. There are excellent exhibits on whaling, the vikings, and even a planetarium. It is a short walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. A very enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend.
Dockmaster Greg met us as we landed and from then on we had a great visit. The exhibits were just as good as we had hoped, the docents both volunteer and professional knew their stuff. The pleasant attitude of the dockmaster made us feel welcomed.
My family simply loves staying at Mystic Seaport. The staff is incredibly friendly and having the seaport to yourself at night is very special. It is a short walk into town. However, there are many car services available if you can't make that walk. Also, the bathrooms are kept very clean.
Staff was friendly, marina was breathtakingly picturesque. Very quiet. Short walk to town. It was too quiet for our taste, but we found entertainment in town. Fixed docks could be an issue. Not an issue for me at all, but a guest and another boat had issues getting on an off.
Great stay at the Mystic Seaport. Wonderful staff, lots to see, and very calm protected docking. Our group got a wonderful behind the sceen tour of the Museum. We dock in Mystic and this is a first for staying on the grounds. Highly recommend a visit. This is not a late party place to stay.
We were berthed right next to their wedding venue. It was a real treat to observe the ceremony and the following reception right next to us on Saturday night. Reception ended by 10:00 and all was quiet again. Will continue to have Mystic Seaport on our travel itinerary.
Great marina especially since the seaport museum was included in the price of the stay. Thanks also very polite and hospitable staff.
