Fantastic weekend, JOHN the Dock master was extremely hospitable and helpfull.

Second or third time at this marina, and it’s always a pleasure. Very responsive and professional dock staff. Great location! I didn’t need any of the facilities so can’t comment on that but I did get a passing glimpse of the laundry room which seemed large, modern and clean. When in Newport, this is where we stay!

Great place, amazing location, have use of pool, fire pit, cornhole etc. John is amazing! Always helpful and very accommodating ! The only negative is the bathrooms. Always smell, showers are very moldy, never towels . Desperately need an update!

Dock staff are #1. Convenient and close to everything in Newport. Hotel pool, bathrooms clean. Will be back on Memorial Day Weekend 2025.

Great STAFF AND LOCATION

We had a wonderful weekend at the Marina . The docks are very nice and clean. The staff are amazing . The location was close to all the shops and restaurants. The only thing that needed updates where the bathrooms and pool.

Location is the best feature of this marina. The wifi is sketchy at best, and has no internet connectivity when it is available. They claim to be pet friendly, but the tiny "dog park" among the broken lawn furniture and garbage cans is hardly adequate.

It is a Great place to stay. John and the Staff are top notch and always take great care of us. We have made multiple trips there over the years and have always had a great time.

Dockmaster and dock hands were awesome! They were very skilled and patient, especially since we had difficulty getting out of the slip. During our stay, everyone was kind, friendly and attentive. Marina is in an ideal location. We used the pool which had a nice temperature, and the shower facilities were tidy. Grounds were pretty with ample seating and lounge spaces. Also super dog friendly. Overall great spot and great staff. Would come back!!!

We were participants in the Newport to Bermuda Race and had a slip for June 18, 19 & 20. 2024. During our sailing transit from DE to Newport on June 17 & 18 we had an engine alarm go off requiring repairs in Newport at New England Boat Works. I told the Dockmaster I had to move the boat and asked to cancel and refund the June 20 slip reservation fee. He said he couldn’t….?? We also had a room in the Newport Harbor Hotel for June 19 & 20. The hotel allowed me to cancel the June 20 room and refund the money….

Beautiful marina! Excellent staff. The female bathroom/ shower needs much updating and cleaning. Broken down and dirty. We have been staying her for a few years so we have seen it better!

We like staying at this marina. It is close to shops and restaurants. The dock hands are always very helpful. The marina is usually quiet. That is a plus!\nEnjoyed our stay!

Amazing slip overlooking the harbor and so conveniently located in town. John the manager and dock master was so accommodating. We had the best time can’t wait to come back.

Great Marina, staff, and the location could not be better. Stepping off the boat puts you in the middle of everything. Quite amazing. Recommendation to Management: Please replace or take the tattered US flag down face dock. I am sure it is just an oversight, but it is a sad sight.

We had a great stay. Chad was a huge help in getting our reservation set up, and extending it when some bad weather rolled in. He even came back to work after having left for the day, just to be sure we were properly tied up. Great facility, perfect location!

Great location of course, excellent dock hands, better than you might expect facilities including laundry room. The only negatives are the WiFi doesn’t really work and some 3am dock party woke us but overall a very nice little marina.

The marina is in a great location, center of downtowm with lots of eateries, and lots to do. The dockmaster is very nice, and accommodating. We needed to stay another day due to weather and they were able to work withus on the accommodation. The facilities are nice and decks are kept in a reasonable goot shape. Like most of marinas in Newport, they are on the expansive side...

The dock crew are amazing! Attentive, friendly and accommodating. Shore power & water hookup was effortless. Couldn’t ask for a better location! My only critique is with the bathrooms & shower facilities. Definitely NOT up to standard. Aside from not being terribly clean, they just need to be remodeled. Despite that, we Will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

4-stars in my book is very good. This marina is in a great central location, attached to a hotel which includes use of its amenities, and overall is a great place to stay. I rarely give a full 5-star rating, believing there is always something that could be improved. We will stay again in the future, without hesitation. The biggest issue is cost. During warmer weather, we can grab a mooring for a fraction of any marina's fee in NPT. NHHM is competitively priced, and offers electricity to keep us warm all night... Highly Recommended!n (10yr customer, last: July '23)

The marina is great...excellent dock hands, easy in, easy out but a lot of boat traffic in Newport harbor so be careful. The bathroom facilities are just ok. They haven't been updated in quite a while. I would have given 5 stars but our favorite part of staying there is the firepit which they usually light around 8 pm but it was not working this weekend. The hotel attendant said there was something wrong with the gas ignition. All in all it was a great weekend.

Stayed for the winter. I really enjoyed being there. It’s a good marina attached to a hotel. Well protected from all directions except a heavy southwesterly. Dockmaster is friendly and helpful. Prime location in Newport walkable to shops/bars. Friendly community of liveaboards in the winter.

The dock and dock crew were excellent. The location is wonderful. The facility not so much. The showers are very small with no shelf for soap or shampoo. The Heated pool heater has been out of service for apparently quite some time with the bay being warmer. At the cost per foot everything should work. But again you cannot beat the location!

The marina has an excellent location to downtown Newport. Staff was friendly issue I had was WiFi the dock was too far away, also cable reception was very poor. But location is great

Beautiful marina right near Bannister and Bowen's wharf, restaurants, shopping. Nice clean marina showers with towel service. Water, electric, ice, paddleboards available at the dock.

Great location. Call before 5 if you plan to be late.No one on site to tell you your berth and hotel staff tell you to contact Dockwa. Had issue with new electric lighthouses on dock but John and his staff were great. As previously mentioned,s showers are gross. Fix that, and she's a 5.

The location is great. Having said that...the Wifi service was not operatable and cell service just ok.

Stayed for one night for the 4th of July and John and staff were very helpful with docking and view of fireworks was amazing!

Friendly staff. Marina has access to an indoor pool, firepit overlooking the water with Adirondack chairs and is in the heart of Newport next to great restaurants and shops.

Showers were barely warm 2 of 3 days. Towels ran out. Bathroom was also the route from hotel to marina so too much foot traffic. Decking outside the bathrooms had rotted support joists so it felt like you’d fall through. . Pump out boat for this marina was private not public -$20. On the good side, staff was helpful
