The Clearwater Harbor Marina is a beautiful marina with state-of-the-art concrete floating docks located in the Downtown District of Clearwater, Florida just across from Coachman Park. The boat slips are accessible from the Intracoastal Waterway at the Memorial Causeway Bridge and are part of Downtown Clearwater’s Cleveland Street Retail and Entertainment District featuring numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries. There is a one-time $10.00 non-refundable fee associated with each reservation.
There is a three (3) night minimum charge for stays during the Super Boat Races, Clearwater Jazz Holiday, and Clearwater Celebrates America 4th of July events. We will begin taking reservation requests at 8:00 a.m. on the day falling exactly six (6) weeks before the event’s start date.
50AMP & 100AMP power available (splitters may be available upon request).
Everything in wonderful condition. Dock hand super friendly and gave good instructions. Great amenities, park like setting.
Perfect location near downtown Clearwater! Very helpful staff and great facilities. We will be back!
We stayed for one night. Friendly and helpful staff and the facility was nicely maintained. Just make sure to avoid mornings in the shower facility because it seems that after a few people shower the water does not heat up for a long time.
Nice marina, clean, most everything you need. Town is lacking in walkable sights. Bus system is easy to utilize.
Friendly staff, clean modern bathrooms and laundry. Easy access to Jolley Trolley. Not a good place to have packages delivered as office is locked and if staff is on docks the Amazon folks and post office won’t deliver and have a hard time finding.
Our stay at Clearwater Harbor Marina was exceptional from adjustments in our arrival date to an extension on our departure date due to issues obtaining fuel, unrelated to the marina. The marina is well maintained with excellent amenities and conveniently located to a popular, engaging city center that is within walking distance. I strongly recommend Clearwater Harbor Marina to anyone visiting the area.
Great staff and docks. 1 washer and 1 dryer. 1 mail and 1 female private bathroom with a private shower. No hot water at sinks!?? Close to town. Easy Uber to beach. Amphitheater right next door. Good stay and somewhat reasonable value for the money. Would recommend to others.
Great location and nice facilities. Marina staff is very helpful with anything we asked. We asked Shannon specifically for a few things and she always came through with a smile on her face. Can't wait to return for another fun weekend.
Great stay especially if you have tickets to The Sound or Capital Theater! Dock Master was right there helping us in, clean facilities and we will be returning!
We loved our stay in the Clearwater Beach Harbor Marina. Very convenient to everything. Location was and such a pretty complex.
The fact that they were open after Milton and Helene was remarkable. Most places in Pinellas with transient docks are closed indefinitely. They have wi-fi, but it was really lousy which was disappointing, could be due to storms. From what I could tell they need to constantly clean docks due to birds. Looked to be a bit behind on that. Called on arrival to confirm slip # and was not offered any assistance docking. Otherwise nice facility and proximity to The Sound is and downtown Clearwater is awesome.
Marina offered a legally binding agreement that I accepted and signed. Then they decided it was a mistake and wanted more money in the future plus $2000 in additional slip fees. Then thier lawyer called threatening to seize my boat and sell it back to me if I didn't pay these fees. The staff at the harbor is very nice and the facilities are nice with the exception of a long term broken locking gate.
Easy in and out, access to fuel. Very close to primary channel so quite a bit of activity. Overall good place and I’ll stay again.
Doc staff was awesome even though we got there after regular business hours. Water pressure was fantastic at the dock. It's close to dining and shopping options
Nice marina, great location, and extremely helpful staff.
Nice marina, enjoyed our stay, crew was very helpful. Thank you!
Great place to stay! Restaurants and sights to see plus a concert if you're lucky on dates of stay!
Great location; beautiful venue; good and accommodating staff! Highly recommend. I would also like for maintainence to change out all of the 50 amp breakers on F6 pedestal as they constantly trip at 40 amps of draw. Saw some great concerts!
Beautiful Marina! Crew was amazing! We will go back!
We had a short but nice stay. The close proximity to the Baycare Sound, nice waterfront, and restaurants adds to the value. Do be aware that it’s close location to Clearwater Pass can make for some strong tidal movement so plan accordingly.
Great Marina and Staff. We stayed here twice on our way to the Bahamas and on the way back. The marina is very well kept and the marina staff are so friendly and kind. It is located at a nice park with restaurants in walking distance. I would highly recommend.
Pleasant and helpful staff. The location was quiet and secure.
We had a great time at Clearwater Harbor Marina. When we arrived, we were given clear instructions on where to dock. The dockmaster came to our slip & assisted with the lines. While we were located directly on the ICW, the floating docks stopped all wake so we could enjoy watching all boats passing by. The Dockmaster's building has great restrooms for getting ready to go out in the evening. We walked through the newly renovated Coachman Park to a newly renovated section of Cleveland Street where 4 very nice restaurants are located. Over the weekend, we ate at 2. They were great. At night, the well lit park with the high level bridge to Clearwater Beach was a fantastic location for pictures. We are very happy with our choice to visit Clearwater Harbor Marina.
The facility is very clean and everyone was helpful. New bldg. is much more convenient and comfortable than old one. They have definitely improved facilities.
Great marina with great park, staff and facilities.
Have stayed here several times in the past on my trips North/South. Marina is even nicer now that the new park is finished. New marina office/laundry/restrooms/shower...very nice. Only 1 shower & 1 toilet for the men's room. But nice, clean and new. Park is really nice. Lots of places that are walkable for shopping/dining.
Nice docks, clean and friendly staff. HOWEVER we did have a problem receiving a pets shipment. I paid overnight air through UPS to the marina address on the website which list 206 Pierce. Ups would not deliver the package due to incorrect address. When I ask the office what the correct address was I was told the same, I.e. 206 Pierce. When I challenged the address I was then told in was actually 206 Pierce STREET. Ended up having to stay an extra day, take an UBER to an UPS office and pick up the package myself. I can’t say much about UPS either. Their system for trying to correct an error for redelivery is still in the Dark Ages and next to useless.
Great stay for the night! I did have to call a phone number, no answer by VHF 16 or 68. But not a big deal at all. 2 of the marina staff met us at the slip to help get docked.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We are displaced from another marina after a recent hurricane. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us in the height of our busy season with new boats arriving.
Great floating docks and an easy walk to the theater and restaurants. An easy bike ride to the beach and aquarium. Great places to take the dink as well.
Great facility new coachman park .the sound
Marina is clean and staff very courteous and helpful. We are a 49’ sailboat so entry was a little tight but nothing that we couldn’t handle.
The location was great and the new Dockmaster office is very nice, washer/dryer, ice machine. Thank you
Easy to check in, clean marina with nice amenities
super clean and maintained.....looks like they are putting in an ice maker machine at the harbor building
Great place. Close to restaurants. People were very helpful and treated us great! Bathrooms were clean, new and perfect for our stay. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
Nice newly renovated. Floating docks. Should have more than 1 toilet and 1 shower for the size of the marina. The Wi-Fi is not very good. Little disappointing they didn’t think it thru when rebuilding. Location good. In park setting close to downtown and some great restaurants
Staff (Little blond girl) did not answer the door at the Harbor masters office. Had to get a dock guy to let me in, and magically found her sitting there. They have two way film on the windows, so that must have been fun.” She acted like she didn’t even notice me. Card worked for the docks, but not for the showers\accessories. Just accept you are lower than dirt in the pecking order, and you’ll have a good time. Oh, btw: they’ve changed their phone number and not updated their Google link. They let you know that the marina door, but it feels like a purposeful decision. Love the dock, but someone with some authority needs to get control of it
Clean restrooms, nice staff, floating docks... all good!!!
Marina crew very helpful. clean office and restrooms. security gates adequate. attached to a very nice park and playground - all new.
Everyone was super helpful from the fuel dock personnel to the people at the Harbor office. The facilities were clean, close by and well maintained.
Good service, it was a big weekend in Clearwater
You have the best staff ever. Everyone of them was polite and kind and went out of their way to check on us each day. We absolutely loved our slip assignment; being next to and near our friends was wonderful. Sadly we didn't make it in on Thursday, but had a wonderful weekend there. Thank you!
Came in on a Friday--super windy. Dockmaster Shannon was the best. We came in with 20-25 mph winds. She got us in safe. After that, her and her whole staff treated us terrific. This is a great place. All new docks-etc. Only one complaint-no ice. Thanks Shannon-you are the best!
Too pricey for what you get. Decent marina in a cool park downtown. Staff is friendly but there is only one shower and toilet and washing machine for the entire 126 slip marina! The shower still won’t work right even after we complained about lack of hot water two months ago. Facility designers should have been way smarter, and asked boaters what they wanted (like mulitple showers and toilets and washing machines, and showers that don’t overflow onto the changing area. Not impressed.
Great locations and clean bathrooms. Close to restaurants.
Great service, amazingly helpful crew. Wife and I plan on stayn here again.
great. Bathrooms small for those staying several nights.
Had a great time place is very clean and organized. Staff is great. Very friendly and helpful.
I thinking a 4.9 and if they had ice it would be a 5. Quick and convient to downtown and Clearwater Beach. Great locals on the dock with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Bicycles everywhere. Shout out to Shannon who went above and beyond to make my stay awesome.
Clearwater city marina was the BEST ever! We have visited many times, but the new up and Team were spectacular! We had 3 dockhands there to help dock ⛵️on a very windy and sharp current day. The Bathrooms and showers actually sparkled, they were so clean. Thank you Michelle and Team. We’ll be back again soon ⛵️ And again, Shannon and team were spectacular!!!! We DID come back soon ⛵️🤩
Shannon was great. Thank you very much for your help and great communication!
Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities top notch.
We were greeted in the rain by THREE employees which was awesome. The park is amazing! It's secure with gate cards and locking gates. Close enough to the Publix, jolly trolley stop at the library and a cute little coffee shop called Restoration Cafe... Great coffee, great people and great prices! Also, good bike riding in the Pinellas trail is you have a bike with you!
Nice floating docks and friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay.
Very nice clean marina with really nice employees. Walking distance to alot!
Very nice floating docks and friendly staff!!! Also free "do it yourself pumpouts."
Fantastic staff. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff but no breakwater. We were on the outside of the North basin.
Excellent staff. Extremely clean. Free pump out!!! Centrally located w lots of low cost, clean and safe public transportation. We watched a great rock concert from the lawn outside the amphitheater. Affordable per foot dockage cost w an option of a better deal for a full week. Wonderful safe place to stay w 24 hour security.
Bathrooms are very clean. The staff was amazing and accommodating. I will stay there again in a heartbeat.
Nice, quiet location with plenty of area to walk dog. Loved our week here.
We were there for the boat parade, nice & clean. A plus was the playground for the kids.
Nice floating docks. Clean. Paid laundry. Easy to walk to restaurants and Publix. The trolley was hard to find to get over to the beach so finally took an Uber. There is a ferry right from the marina as well that runs every hour. Dock hands were all very helpful.
Beautiful Marina and surrounding park! Friendly staff and clean restrooms! Only downside was cold showers 2/3 days. Still, highly recommend!
The staff was great as always. The marina construction has been completed. The marina park is beautiful and the showers and bathrooms are great.
Dockhands were very helpful. Nice marina. Thanks Again!
Nice location for visiting Clearwater area, especially downtown and new Coachman Park amphitheater. We saw Chris Young in concert that was lots of fun. Downtown area has 3-4 restaurants within walking distance that are pretty good. Publix is a few more blocks away but not far. We have folding bikes so it was no problem. Wards Seafood market is great, about 2 miles but worth it. Beach trolley or ferry to Clearwater beach is also close. Floating docks and new marina office has new bathrooms and showers. All very clean. Our slip was in the north marina near the Freedom Boat Club and entrance gate. Very close to the office and bathrooms. However, the Freedom Boat Club clients frequently leave the gate ajar so security could be better, especially with clients frequently coming and going. There is possible option to stay in south marina that would be quieter. The wifi was poor even though we were very close to the office and antenna. Connecting was quick but constantly got dropped even when using our wifi extender.
The marina called us exactly at 1 p.m. to confirm our reservation and gave us last minute docking instructions. The marina staff were standing at our slip when we arrived. They made sure to chase off the rental boats which were blocking our slip. Check in took only 5 minutes. Our slip was only a short walk to Clear Sky a very popular restaurant and Capital Theater. We took in a concert (The Fixx) and walking home late at night felt very secure. Things to watch out for at Marina. Be very aware of the strong current in the marina. The only other thing is sea birds and what they leave behind. LOL.
Very nice marina, floating concrete docks, very nice bathrooms, showers and laundry at a fair price, we would definitely stay again.
Great marina l, great views, loved the energy by the Sound
The dock staff was the best we've seen a long time. We look forward to our next visit.
Shannon was exceptional and provided great service & communication
Staff were attentive and helpful! Facilities were clean and location to downtown and coachman park can’t be beat!
Excellent experience. friendly neighbors, smooth inside harbor despite boats going by. Staff & management great to deal with, always there. Vince Caruso - Lattitude Adjustment 3
All good. I’m coming back when the a dock is completed
Nice location and staff. The facilitirs were very limited at the north side dockage.
Super helpful staff and very clean facilities.
Awesome marina Staff and Dockmaster! Clean. Nice view, and Coachman park next to it has lots of amenities.
Michelle was fantastic!!
Very easy to use and find with friendly employees
The marina has had a lot of improvement. The new marina office and bathrooms are convenient.
Great spot to view fireworks, lots of great updates since our last visit in 2019
Top notch the new facilities are second to none in this area and the staff was incredible
Slip F-16 was a great location - close to the Sound and activities.
Always a great stop over, be cautious using inflatable fenders at the south side of the bridge at the HARBOR MARINA. SOME VERY SHARP STAINLESS STEEL brackets are PROTRUDING OUT just below the lip of the floating dock. One bracket sliced a large hole in one of the mega yacht fenders which is not repairable. Safe travels
Floating Docks are the best. Cat 3 Hurricane poles. Both 30 & 50 Amp. The people are great. Next to the Sound concert venue
the phone gate opener was a nightmare. Everything else was fine!
Very clean and safe place, they had night time security walking the dock all night long. The workers at the office where amazing and very helpful. We will be back for sure.
The staff were really helpful. Thje location is great with easy access to the the downtown and beach, We walked over the bridge to clearwater beach and took the ferry back to the marina for $5. One concern is the current. best to time your arrive during a slack tide.
Great Marina! Very sheltered and the doc master was awesome.
A very nice facility with nightly security and helpful staff. I was there for 5 nights. No gas at this dock but it’s available across the bay with a 10 minute run. A few issues that need to be addressed. Facility parking is not close by. Construction of the amphitheater has taken all the few remaining close spaces requiring you to walk 2-3 blocks away to find vehicle parking. They need a designated loading zone near the dock office so you can easily unload your vehicle. The dock needs better cart management at the dock entrances. Some days they were available and other days you had to search for them which can be a long walk back and forth. The dock is quite long and if you’re trying to carry items to load on the boat it’s pretty tedious. The provided security app worked well for access. I would definitely stay here again and will bring a folding cart next time for loading and unloading.
Floating docks in great shape.Walkable to downtown. Friendly staff. When the city finishes construction on the neighboring park, that will be an additive as well.
The marina staff was great and always very helpful.
My boat is in Tarpon Springs. I have come down to the Clearwater Harbor Marina thru the ICW twice now. Docks are floating and in good shape, power poles and water are spaced out nicely and there is a pump out, although I did not use it. The marina is right next to Coachman Park which they are currently redoing. There is construction right now (3-25-2023), but when finished should be really nice. It is maybe a 10 minute walk to some nice restaurants and a Starbucks. The only negative I would say is the current and wind whips a lot. I am 47 foot and have docked on the outside dock near the ICW. Make sure to double up on your spring lines. It is a nice spot and you can watch all the boat traffic and party boats going in and out. I will stay there again soon.
Nice place and easy to get in and out. Security guard overnight on site!
Great access via the Trolley to the beach and towns north of Clearwater
The experience was nothing short of just anchoring out. The staff was not at the office when I hiked the like mile to go to the office as instructed. Then. On my almost all the way back another mile I ran into the employee only to get to hike back up there again for a very pitiful excuse for a key app to use the gate. This could have been handled remotely to day the least. In fact while I was downloading this app to be able to stay and use the key code app another customer was not as fortunate with the app and choose to move to another Marina and I certainly couldn’t blame him. We were also asked to dock on the exterior facewall just out of the channel as that was all available, which certainly didn’t look the case to me either.
Great marina, super friendly staff, free pumpout (do-it yourself) not much to do close, a lot of construction around the marina
All was good. A little learning curve on the smart phones.
Pump out on north dock was broken so we had to move the boat to the south dock to do a pump out. The Pelican (and other bird) crap on the dock is vicious and gross. We stayed a week and only saw someone hosing down the dock one time; however, the marina does have a hose at each electric stand if you want to clean up around your boat yourself. There were no dock hands to help us into our slip. It's a nice marina with good docks, but I consider it a bare bones experience.
Good concrete floating docks. Helpful staff. Current issue is there is a lot of construction on the new waterfront, not much noise from the bridge, long walk to the office but that appears to be being rectified with new construction, not much to do in downtown Clearwater, much more 'entertainment' a the Clearwater Beach Marina but they were full when we were looking for a slip.
Canceled my stay because of hurricane. Need to refund my money
Wish it had more ameninties for sale besides ice. It would be nice if you had a restaurant/bar.
Michelle was terrific! Unfortunately, their gate system REQUIRED an I-Phone. I have an Android. Otherwise, 5-stars.
$12k in electronics equipment was stolen. Would never go back.
This marina is in an ideal location in downtown Clearwater and within walking distance to hotels, restaurants, and shops. The staff members are helpful and courteous, and all the amenities are updated. Well protected and easy access in and out. Fuel dock is on the other side of the intercoastal but access and navigation seemed easy. There is major construction on going which limited available parking. While not the marina's fault, this construction contributed to 4 stars, not 5. The marina mostly caters to larger vessels, but I truly appreciate them finding room for our boat (Pursuit 235 DC) over the July 4th Weekend. This was our first stay and we're looking forward to returning soon.
Michelle was so calm and helpful! After a long ride of 88 miles, it was so welcoming :) Stay was quiet, which was exactly what we needed.
We stayed at the harbor marina a few weeks ago and wanted to leave a review about our stay. Construction in the park makes for a lot of walking & the Wi-Fi is awful but the staff was amazing! When we arrived we had an issue with the shore power and one of the other dock masters told us that it might be a few days before an electrician can come take a look, which is terrible when you need power and AC. Word got to Dockmaster Michelle about our power and she came out right away to reset the main breakers and we got the power we needed for the rest of our stay. We can’t thank her enough for that with this heat! She also recommended restaurants in the area for us (Tequilas was my favorite) and made sure we had everything we needed at all times! Great experience all around thanks to her!
Great Marina and staff. Thank you for everything Dockmaster Steve!
Great place to dock your boat for the weekend & clean facility
On the ICW so very convenient for transients. Strong current. Staff id very helpful! The marina will be great when construction of new office with showers and restrooms is completed. Scott and Tris Green Eyes
We love staying at this Marina, it is so relaxing and the staff is always very helpful and friendly
Slip was in the middle of nowhere, next to a construction site. Wifi was impossibility slow, marina staff were never seen out of the dockmasters office.
Absolutely a pleasure staying with the marina. I worked primarily with Dockmasters Shannon and Michelle. Both were accommodating, kind, and conscientious people with a passion for their jobs. Even with construction nearby, the amenities were available and bathrooms and showers spotless and clean- a true pleasure to have safe harbor with an unfamiliar and new boat. I’ll stay here again! Update: stayed another 4 days for resupply stop and again- clean, accommodating, and friendly. I will always consider it as my go-to home marina.
Hard time docking due to the current, a big thank you to the two marina dock girls for the help
No internet service and not the cleanest bathroom.
Great facility and the staff was incredible. Once the construction on the amphitheater is completed you’ll get great concerts and entertainment too!
Okay marina; rather sterile. Big construction project in front of the marina. Complicated app for gate access. No personal contact. Docks are nice; facilities are a looong walk away. Downtown is vacant and dead.
Well maintained, secure docks. Enjoyed BBQ, brewery and small, but great, falafel restaurant near the bus station.
they were very helpful when we arrived .lots of construction near by but,the marina and the staff are top notch.
Great marina. Staff is very helpful, marina is well Protected and concrete floating docks are super. They also have an app to download to open the security gates.
Saul was do accommodating and helpful. I strongly recommend this marina.
I am given three stars only because we did not receive access to gates and also bathrooms and shower timely. It was Christmas Day but someone should be on call to assist with the check in.
As a transient, the NT dock is very easy to get in and out of. Good spacing with other boats. Enjoyed our stay.
The marina is great. The floating docks are first rate. We were just inside the outermost dock toward the ICW and yet zero rocking from passing boats. The floating docks seem to absorb any wave action. Only downside is construction noise adjacent to the marina - building a new park. AND, their gate codes only work on Apple devices at the moment. They are working on Android fix.
Everyone was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Very satisfied.,
Only reason it was not 5 stars is construction congestion.
The app required to get in the gate and the lack of info about internet or any other services was completely unacceptable. Will not return.
The finger piers and docks are floating! Nice solid concrete. We had a 50’ finger pier. Very helpful and friendly marina staff. Yes there is construction at the park- starts about 6:30, yes it’s a lengthy walk to restrooms and showers. There is a free pump out on the outside wall. Lots of things to do-all nearby. Recommend it!
Staff and facilities are great. The city is doing significant construction so access is inconvenient from land. Good rnestaurants nearby and an easy Uber trip to Dunedin.
Great location. Friendly staff, floating docks in excellent condition. Bathrooms/showers clean, though a healthy walk. There is a washer/dryer. Very good value for this area. Plus restaurants and groceries within walking distance.
Great docks, they keep the docks clean, some nice dining options in town and close to Jolley Trolley stop. They run a tight ship here, great staff
Due to construction, it made it a four rather than a five star. Shannon is five star plus plus!! First marina out of the the six for us so far where someone actually met us to help with lines when they said someone would be there.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Currently the restrooms/showers and laundry are very far from the transient dockage, but they are building new facilities that will enable them to be closer. Its location and proximity to downtown restaurants and a Publix store also make it a great marina compared to most.
What a great clean location. Dock master Saul is very attentive to boaters questions and needs. Called ahead for arrival time and was met at dock for line help. Docks are clean . Facilities are clean. Easy access ( about 2 blocks ) to trolley system to see other towns for $5 a person daily. Has oil disposal. The bridge next to it is about non existent as far a sound. Easy in and out slips. Thank you Saul !
We stayed here for three months while getting our boat ready for the Bahamas. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is great - good views, good access to the gulf, restaurants and groceries within walking distance, West Marine and Home Depot / Lowes within a short drive. Part of the marina is long-term storage and part is for transient boaters, while we were there our neighbors were all kind and courteous. The only downsides of the marina are that it's partly under construction with a major project the city is doing; the internet didn't work for me the entire time we were there; and there is a decent amount of current (time your arrivals/departures to slack tide).
The employees here are the absolute best! I will have to say though, the Wi-Fi isn't Wi-Fi. They need to take off the site that they offer Wi-Fi. You would think the city of Clearwater would want to improve that but they don't seem to care. Very unfortunate but the city is lucky they have the marina employees that they do!
A regular Marina stop. We have never been disappointed, or we wouldn’t return. Too many other options are available, but both Clearwater Harbor municipal marinas have never failed our needs. Staff, although changing over the years we have been calling here, has always friendly, professional, and motivated to assist. Best option in this area in my opinion in professional yacht delivery experience.
Very nice marina. Close to town and great restaurants.
Stopped this weekend. This used to be a nice Marina. Water was turned off for days from what we were told (Fire plugs not working either so it is a life/safety issue). South dock on the intracoastal is chained to the pilings, the dock is broken off of the pilings, we asked about it and were told it was since last March it has been like this (this is July). Docks are not washed off. Did not see any security either physical or cameras, was told they are no longer present. Walking up to downtown, it is all blocked off for 2-3 years for a project, you have to navigate around the large homeless population that hangs out at the Marina and surrounding area now, feels unsafe now.
Marina was great! Friendly staff, good communication! Be aware of a lot of construction in the area (6/21) (not the marina itself, but the city) which makes for tough parking, longer walks to the dock. Marina was in a great spot, definitely would stay again!
Michelle, Christina, Shannon, and Steve were wonderful! They have quite a hike from their office to the north marina where we stayed. Park construction made access to town harder than the usual almost straight up the street but maybe they can accommodate better soon. Facilities very clean and floating docks werewide and secure and cleaned every day from bird droppings. Many friendly people on the docks and in town. Only problem we had was a bent roller on the dock corner rendering it useless when we needed protection as the current pushed us into the dock. Currents can be very strong and run perpendicular to slips. We were not aware of this with all the water traffic during our approach.
Quiet floating docks, a little walk to rest rooms and showers but clean. Great sunset views to west over Clearwater Beach. Short walk to town or trolley or ferry to the beach. There is construction going on in the basin now so long walk to get downtown.
This marina was great. The staff was wonderful. We will definitely use again.
Great service! Great folks we will be back
Very pleasant stay; love the floating docks. Dock staff are the best, helpful always.
We stay here about 4 years ago for several nights. We would rather have been at the beach Marina but they were full. It is a very nice safe place. It’s also a good stop to take a Trolly to Tarpon Springs.
Great stay! Amazing staff, Kristina was super helpful and a hard worker!!! Will visit again.
Great people! Lots of assistance. Nice place to spend the evening.
As always the dock hands are awesome, wonderful floating concrete docks, great location for everything in Pinellas county. Perfect for a weekend or longer stay home port
Nice marina, friendly people and a great location
Floating docks in excellent condition. Strong current getting into slip but ours had a roller fender on the corner that worked well to prevent damage. Wifi not usable at all. Can't have that these days. Long walk to restrooms/showers. Jolley Trolley to beach and up coast is awesome.
This is a beautiful spot! The staff was excellent and helpful getting us situated and comfortable.
Love the downtown area. Be aware of currents as they are often strong.
Nice marina. The docks are beautiful and well designed. If you are on the inside there is almost no wave action. The bathrooms and showers are a bit of a hike, but clean and well maintained. The only downside was the incredible volume of bird poop on the boat! We had some pretty good wave action out on the bay, at least 2 ft waves, but the docks stopped almost all of the wave action. Very calm in the marina!
Convenient location. Good service. Good floating docks. Clean showers/restrooms. Out of 2 pumpout stations one was not working and another was blocked of by a (permanently?) docked vessel. No fuel either but their sister marina across channel has it. Watch out for sand bars on the channel boundaries. As usual watch out for tidal current when docking/undocking. Overall great staging point to jump to Dog Island / Carrabelle.
Very helpful at the office. Quiet marina. Clean restrooms. We stayed on outer dock. It’s a bit of a walk but that’s ok.
We paid for Friday and Saturday night dockage at 6 AM Sunday morning I wanted to use the bathroom but my codes had already been removed from my phone. You need to change that policy
Wow again !! Stay here after or before crossing the Bend and each time it is a very Great spot to stage or rest up afterwards.
Awesome marina. Nice and helpfull staff. App with bluetooth to open security gates throughout the marina, hi-tech and great. Bathrooms and showers are very nice and clean. Downtown location, close to good eats. Floating docks are in great shape. Will come again.
The Facilities are nice, Michael is fabulous. The new entry smart phone app is not useable on older Iphones, pre-6s, so you have to call an attendant or watchman every time you need to get back on the docks.
Dockmaster on duty the evening of 11/6 was very helpful
Great Experience at Clearwater Harbor again. Easy scheduling to meet my needs, Michelle Labrie checked in with me in late afternoon to check on my status, gave me my slip assignment and sailing directions to enter the marina. She helped me secure the boat in the slip, and made sure my shore power connections worked, introduced me to my transient slip neighbors (great people) and, in general, made sure I was at home in the slip for the duration of my stay at Clearwater. Great security at night. This marina is always on my stopover list when I am cruising north from St. Petersburg or returning to St. Petersburg from points further north.
Great crew... Wonderful marina. I had trouble backing in and docking. However, Steven and a young guy from Freedom Boat Club grant my dock lines and helped me out expertly. Highly recommend.
We would definitely stay again, but not on the G dock. We paid the same amount as a slip and had no guarantee of a parking spot. Every time we came in, public access boats were in our spot and had to be moved. In the morning, our boat was chained up and we had to have someone come unlock it before we could go out. If that dock space is going to be rented, there should absolutely be a better arrangement to reserve the spot and identify who is a paid boat. We could have had the same outcome without paying $90.
The hospitality was awesome! Thanks for making our stay a joy able experience.
Awesome customer service. Clean facilities and friendly staff. If you’re in Clearwater.. check them out!
Horrible Marina, They gave us first a slip that did not fit, was promised a better slip by a nice fellow that worked there and was very helpful but the woman in charge of the place changed all that and gave us un unprotected docking on the outside at full price, wakes all night and day included....3 miles to the restroom....no fuel dock and we even got an electrical extension stolen during our stay there but they do think they are very fancy.....was told all kind of confusing thing to be change to "need you out of here before labor day weekend starts".. nice way to treat paying customers....over a $100 per day with all that included...place is not worth more than max $20 per day. Worst Marina we ever stayed at.
Great staff and super helpful- They set us up in a perfect location to just relax and watch the boats go by- lovely green area to take our dog out to do his business. Easy transport via water taxi or Uber to anywhere you need to go and a short walk to restaurants bars etc. docks are clean and well cared for and easy to deal with as they are floaters- overall wonderful experience and will absolutely stay there more often!
Great service and very friendly and helpful staff. Not a whole lot to do around the Marina. Most shops, stores and restaurants are a bit of a hike. But I would definitely come back there
Great view, great staff and great stay. My one little quibble would be the poor quality of internet service. But hey, we are boating...who needs internet? LOL
Nice, clean and super helpful and friendly staff! Appreciate Rick and Shannon’s assistance!
No one at the dock to help. Hard to dock without help and we were told they would be there to help us dock. Hard to get into with the wind and not knowing where to go.
Amazing experience. Easy booking, check in and facility access. Friendly and helpful staff
Nice docks, helpful staff and walking distance to downtown. We have a large boat and they only have the outside dock for bigger boats. It sits along the ICW in a very busy section. It is all no wake but you still get a lot of wave action
Great marina. Clean facilities with floating concrete docks. Rick the Dockmaster was very helpful with guiding us in and helping tie up. He also gave us good tips on the area and checked us out in the morning.
Great clean, solid floating extra wide docks and catwalks! Easy on and easy off the boat. All docks have rubber rub rail the entire length of the slip. Other nearby city marinas should take a lesson from this marina and it’s style of dock system. Easy to use and easy to access the pump out station dock. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful for a downtown area. Large grass areas and park just steps off the dock. Great views and smooth calm water all week long even under heavy winds and waves. Thanks Steve!
Michelle was wonderful on the phone and Mike is a great dockmaster. We enjoyed talking to Mike as he is knowledgeable about Clearwater. He maintains the docks and facilities in a clean and professional condition. Downtown setting is nice too. Great transportation system—the Jolley Trolley—right off the docks.
Dock personnel didn’t have a portable radio so they didn’t Respond to incoming boats, key deposit with an office that was 0.2 miles from the transient slips was a pita., WIFI was worthless, docks were clean and well kept, noise from bridge was tolerable, grounds around Marina were well maintained.
Dockmaster Rick is wonderful. Excellent service, staff and docks. Can’t wait to go back!
Nice new marina. Clean with friendly staff. The city has put attention to this investment
Had a great time! Thank you and we will be back soon
Just stayed for one night on the outside transient dock at our request. We stop here from time to time and always receive great service from the marina staff. You have an outstanding view of the sunset from this location. Just make sure you use adequate fenders since you are exposed to a busy channel and some boaters do not understand what a no wake zone is. It has never bothered us and I is not a big problem for us.
Michelle-Good Rick-Good Samantha-Not so good. Upon check-in we were not informed about the WiFi code. We were also not informed that upon departure we only had to call the office for someone to pick up our key and deliver our deposit. Samatha was also not sure about general information about trolleys, etc. She could have been more helpful in my opinion.
Very clean, quiet and Rick was great assisting with docking and nearby places to eat.
Dockmaster Rick was very helpful assisting withdockage and floating docks are great
This marina has pros and cons. I have spent many nights here going to shows at the Capital theater. The biggest downside of this marina is you have to get past Dockwa to reach the staff. The staff is very pleasant however, only a few have authority to assign slips located inside the basin that are vacant but rented on an annual basis. This is important for transients because if you cannot get a slip inside the basin and you will be assigned a slip on the outside even if they have empty slips inside. On the outside face dock you are in for a bumpy stay due to wakes. This is only a slow speed zone making it bad enough but many ignore even this courtesy and plow by the marina. It is so bad sometimes that it borders on dangerous. Without being able to speak directly with the appropriate staff you are going to be placed on the outside no matter size of boat. Otherwise the marina has great power and water and is only steps away from the downtown district. Clearwater has spent some $ improving this area. Increased security has eliminated most of the sketchy pan-handlers however my wife is still a little nervous waking back from the theater at night and I would certainly recommend Uber any later than midnight. We had only one person approach us during this stay and it wasn't on the walk back after the show but still not a pleasant experience. The marina itself feels safe with locked gates. To sum it up. My wife in the past has always accepted her feelings of insecurity about the dangers presented by threat of physical harm against the benefit of the entertainment provided by the shows. She says life is a compromise however, since Dockwa now manages the marina she informed me we no longer will be visiting the Capital to see the shows due to the discomfort of staying on the outside finger dock.
No one greeting on arrival to help tie up and securing our boat or help with hook up power, water, Etc. No marina packet or information given on codes, keys, etc upon arrival. Trash was overflowing and going into the water, attracting birds.
Great staff and courteous. Nice facilities. Office and Showers very far from slip. Our slip was located next to public pier and homeless people where overlooking our boat most of the night.
Docked in slip E17. Inside on the north side of the bridge. Loved being right on the intracoastal. Well maintained and protected marina. Took ferry over to the beach side - an easy ride. Wi-fi was down due to construction cable cut but they worked hard to get the provider to repair quickly. As soon as repair was complete, we received several making sure we knew is was operational. We would stop over here in the future.
