Great staff and the nicest courtesy cars. Very clean and well maintained. Free use of washer and dryer.
Buck's Harbor is a lovely, scenic and well-protected harbor. Our two nights on the mooring were very enjoyable and peaceful as we watched seals each morning fish for their breakfast.
Dysart's is a great stop in Southwest Harbor, Maine. There are some very good restaurants and opportunities to reprovision, not to mention great access to Acadia Park. The staff is very friendly and helpful and access to a loaner vehicle is welcome.
South Port Marine is a very easily accessible and well-protected marina. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are also a number of very good restaurants and two major grocery stores within walking distance. It is also a short ride (or a longish walk) to the Portland waterfront for a variety of restaurants and shops. They also have a convenient fuel dock with very good prices for diesel and a pump out station. Second time we had an extended stay here (2 weeks) and would do it again without hesitation
A lovely spot on Casco Bay. Very prompt launch service to get you to and from your mooring. Great and convenient stop-over location. Also, a very nice restaurant right at the marina. Great food and excellent service.
This is one of our favorite Marinas in Maine. It also has a wonderful restaurant on premises, but the real treat are the outstanding dock assistants and the fresh blueberry muffins that are delivered to your boat every morning.
Safe Harbor Marina Bay in Quincy, MA is one of the finest facilities on the east coast. Tyler, the General Manager, and his staff are absolutely outstanding. The dock master, Mitchell and his crew are second to none and they are always at the ready to assist with anything that you may need. They are always friendly, and it's clear that they love their jobs because the smiles never seem to leave their faces. We were at Marina Bay twice in 2020, 2021 and 2023 on our travels between Ft. Lauderdale and Down East, Maine. We weathered hurricane Lee on their new and expanded west docks and were extremely comfortable as the docks did a great job blocking the 2-foot chop on the bay driven by up to 40 kt wind gusts. We again stopped in July of 2025 on our way to Maine. I had some minor engine issues. Andrew, an outstanding mechanic, identified the problem and took care of it along with a couple of other issues. Very nice marina with outstanding dock hands. Very lively with a very active Tiki Bar, live music and good restaurants.
Always a great stop when traveling the ICW through Daytona.
The Mystic Seaport Museum has always been one of, if not our top, favorite stop between Key West and the Canadian border. Now with the addition of floating docks, the Mystic Seaport is even better and more welcoming to mariners. Greg, the dockmaster and his crew are top notch. And having a 19th century village all to yourself as evening descends, is truly magical.
This is a good facility although the bathrooms/showers could be cleaned a bit more frequently. Perhaps the best part of the marina is Alex the dock-master who could not be more helpful. He was terrific in helping us dock in very heavy winds and also helping our guests with luggage and provisioning.
DiMillo's Marina has always bee a class operation and it didn't disappoint.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at DiMillo's Kennebunk Marina. While it is not a full-service operation the marina staff, Lane and Devon were extremely helpful and a couple of terrific gentlemen. The marina is very close to town and within easy reach of shops, restaurants and provisioning. We definitely recommend this facility.
Not a typical marina as it is operated by a non-profit Ocean Alliance that is dedicated to conservation and research of whales and the ocean. They are very appreciative of having boaters visit their facilities as it helps offset the cost of the improvements that they have made and the on-going improvements to their dock and facility.
