Got a mooring along the channel with scenic, natural surroundings. Friendly launch service was available for $1. Not much within walking distance; only restaurant was closed on a weekday. Dock staff could be better trained.
Nice neighborhood! Courteous & helpful dock staff. Informative welcome package provided. Newer restrooms. Walkable town with good assortment of eateries, and a great market for provisioning. Only one star off for no on-site pool, beach, or swimming area.
Nice mooring field with views of Mystic River channel and Fishers Island Sound. Launch service, showers, laundry, walk to local cafes. Quiet and laid back atmosphere.
Nice floating composite docks, easily accessible fuel dock, walking distance to town/shops/cafes, well-protected, and nice showers/bathrooms. Accommodating staff too.
Charmed! Original, family operated, low-key vibe. Sweeping views of lower Narragansett Bay, nice and helpful staff, and quiet beach. A little rolly during a north breeze, but otherwise well protected from the usual southwest conditions.
Tight maneuvering in the marina, but nice composite floating docks, and very well protected. Decent, clean facilities. Not much in the neighborhood. There is a pool, but it was closed for the season.
Stayed on a fixed dock with a significant tide range. The dock master was very helpful with configuring the lines for this. Great island walks & rustic raw bar. No amenities or launch service.
Sakonnet Point Marina is a great stopover between Narragansett Bay and Massachusetts ports. Helpful staff, nice docks, and well protected. Use of the club facilities costs extra. The beach is a nice walk. Only issue was being next to the commercial fishing dock that was in use morning and night.
Great place to access or view all of lower Narragansett Bay activities. Boatyard shares their property with local homeowners association, so some areas are just for them. Nice scenic walk to the south facing coves & Fort Wetherill.
Best of everything for a quiet location, pretty & protected scenery, launch service, clean facilities, walking distance to town & grocery, nice folks, picnic tables and a taco shack!
Town moorings are directly off downtown, which is fine if you don't mind listening to live bands and dj's at night, or being close to the ferry. Launch service must be obtained through a separate company, namely Bristol Marine. Simple amenities are available inside the maritime center building, such as coin-operated showers and laundry.
Got a mooring here in a calm, protected location. Nice launches/launch service. Close to Dog Watch Cafe and easy walk into the rest of town. Nicest showers/bathrooms I've seen anywhere!
Stopped in here on short notice for a repair, and Ned's team had me fixed up, turned around, and on my way again in about 24 hours, which I greatly appreciated. Mechanic was prompt and efficient, dock girls were very helpful, and the docks themselves are the nice floating, composite type. Also an easy walk into town. I'll definitely stay here again.
Got a mooring here in a peaceful cove surrounded by wetlands. There is no launch service, but WHBY will provide you with your own rowboat! Walk to town is about 25 minutes each way. Very nice new clubhouse, picnic areas, indoor & outdoor shower options.
Great central location to access everything in Watch Hill, shops, eateries, and beaches are all easy walking distance. Scenic harbor. Docks are fixed/basic, however, no showers, laundry, recycling, or other amenities are offered here.
Overall location was good, easy access to Jamestown & dining options, good views, prompt launch service. Only issue was the mooring was really roll-y, like, non-stop. There's no protection from all the Narragansett Bay traffic, and I was constantly being "waked". It only calmed down after dark.
