Gren-Moor - Ludwig H.Oct 27, 2023

We made a reservation for a mooring but none was available. In fact you don’t reserve anything when using Dockwa. If there happen to be one available then Dockwa is convenient to pay. Moorings are otherwise nice. But we had to anchor

We cleared in Marigot Bay as it is one of the most beautiful anchorages. Stayed on a mooring which we could reserve on Dockwa, pretty unique in these parts. Unforgettable sunsets, and some real deal Caribbean experiences (like having your hair cut under a tree by Jake) combined with very nice amenities of the resort should you so be inclined. Very relaxed and safe athmosphere

Marina Response:
Ludwig, Glad to see that you were able to fly enjoy the tranquility of Marigot Bay. See you on your next trip to St Lucia.

We waited here amongst the Salty Dawgs to sail to the Carib during the first 2 weeks of November. Great location for the boat. Very protected. Docking is stern to with pilons on the bow. Can be challenging with cross winds. One supermarket is walking distance but we needed a car to fully provision. Facilities very nice. SV ATARAXIA

On our way south to the Carib we made a stop here for weather. It was the last day of the season for AHYC and we managed to arrive the minute the launch stopped for the season. Still, they allowed us to stay for multiple nights while waiting for weather. We are familiar with the quality of the mooring field here and felt super comfortable. Thank you AHYC for helping sailors in true maritime tradition. SV ATARAXIA

clean and crisp communication with the launch guided us to guest mooring 3. The guest moorings are (logically) in the outer harbor and so more exposed. We had a quiet night however and so no worries. The club itself is just wonderful. We had dinner with a member and therefore got a tour of the building. Exceptional.

Nice town, solid moorings. The PJYC moorings are relatively close to shore (a good thing) and there are more moorings than those belonging to PJYC, a lot more. This gives for a crowded mooring field, which on a quiet night is not an issue at all, where it not for a 48ft Sundancer that felt the need to leave its generator on 24hrs. I consider this rude. I don't know if there were any 'rules' around it or how they could be enforced. Hence the 4 star.

Deep water access. We picked up a brand new orange mooring. Good launch service and nice facilities. Very nautical vibe. Cheaper (though not cheap) alternative to Newport

Good communication with Beth allowed us to shelter for the night at their T dock. Fixed docks with electricity. Very clean facilities but otherwise not a lot going on. Thank you Beth

Inexpensive and well protected. Good communication through dockwa app. Facilities are basic with outside shower. Launch service provided. Like everywhere else in New England launch will point out your mooring but otherwise stand by (i.e. not help you tie up). This seems to be market practice. Moorings looked very solid. Guest moorings are orange to port upon entering

Marina Response:
Thank you for your kind words, hope to see you again soon!

Well protected and clean facilities. We used the mooring field. Moorings are very close together and expensive. Launch service fast and friendly. Right in the center of Ptown.

Marina Response:
Thank you for the 5 star rating! We hope to see you again soon!

Good communication, deep water access to mooring but no launch and inevitably some noise from the highway. Excellent restaurant on premise.
