Great young staff. Nice floating docks. Shanty restaurant right there BUT they play loud outdoor music after 10pm heard on the docks. Downtown is nice with lots of shops. AJ's bar has excellent smash burgers.
Nice Marina and restaurant. This is our second visit this summer. Walking distance to downtown Portsmouth, Ferry across Elizabeth River to Norfolk. Suntex has several marinas on the east coast. Good outfit! Rick is the GM for both Portsmouth and Yorktown and both are excellent.
Excellent small marina, only 10 slips. Very peaceful, floating docks, full services, clean secure bathrooms, free washer/dryer, Mallards restaurant next door, small park for pets, one of the best! Onancock is a stunning small town with beautiful homes and very little traffic. Just a short walk into town for the bakery, Irish Pub, Foggy Place coffee shop. Kellie is the harbormaster and she runs a GREAT marina.
Once great - now so-so. The young staff is very nice and helpful. G floating dock for transients is great. Bathrooms need upgrading and the floors are very dirty. Pool is great except when a local family used their pool pass and a child pooped in the pool which closed the pool on July 4. Fuel dock has good prices. The State of MD owns the marina and just passed a $30m package to upgrade the failing bulkheads and replace many docks with floating docks so there will be some major renovations - but not on the bathrooms which need it. Crisfield has such great potential but needs a lot of work as the town has gone downhill and many restaurants and shops are gone. Somers Cove needs some TLC and Maryland needs to get their act together to improve what they started 30 years ago.
Great marina, pool bar, ship store, grill and bathrooms. Cindy even opened the pool bar on a Wednesday afternoon for a few hours, Spring Cove is the bomb.
Very nice floating docks marina, new large bathrooms & great Captains lounge. Nice pool. Oxford is quiet and charming. Not much in town - except for Scottish Highland Creamery which has excellent ice cream! There is a full service boatyard next door. If you want a small, peace and quiet stop this is for you.
Great location at the entrance to Back Creek, just a 20 minute walk into Annapolis over the bridge. Scott and Kathy are great and are upgrading their office now. Safe Harbor has plans to upgrade the docks soon. Bathrooms are new and nice. Travel lift is right there along with boat repair businesses if you need a haul out.
Top notch marina and facilities. Great bar, restaurant, pool and Deli/Store across the street. Nice walkways, on-site hotel/cottages. A complete resort for boaters...and others too.
Excellent marina, bathrooms and pool. Onsite Italian restaurant was great - must do reservations. Nice floating docks. Need a few more trash cans closer to docks. Will come back.
A unique marina. Kinda like visiting a downtown city with dozens of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Giant Capital Wheel lights the place up all night, lots of tourists , locals and convention goers at the massive Gaylord Hotel. Water taxi does create rocking swells as it comes and goes. It an "experience".
Old school marina with old wooden docks and covered walkways. Courtesy car was great for driving to Walmart in Kilmarnock (30 minutes) and a local Mexican restaurant in Callao. It was like going back in time 30 years. Very reasonable rates and Susan and Jacob are terrific. Docks are old and rather wobbly. Don't expect dock hands. Great folks.
Right in the heart of town! Cathy, the lead dockmaster, was very helpful. Note a significant tide and strong current so plan your approach accordingly. Beaufort is a must visit historical town and a golf cart tour (1 hour) is great.
A great community and Morgan River restaurant is excellent. If you are a golfer bring your clubs on the boat as they have 2 awesome golf courses. Not a lot of dock space for transients so make your reservation well in advance.
Great staff, big marina which means a long walk if you are on G dock. Facilities are nice, floating docks are pretty new. Would be nice to offer a golf cart shuttle into town as Uber drivers are rare and cab ride is $20.
Connie and Steve work tirelessly to run a great marina and this summer will open the Salty Crab restaurant and bar onsite. Dock hands Mike, Jeff and Zach are there to help with fuel and docking. Great ship's store with provisions, gas grills, saltwater pool, a loaner van available and very competitive fuel prices make Dowry Creek a must stop.
Would be 5 stars but bathrooms are a bit too far (no real way to fix that) and water pressure needs to be fixed in the showers and wifi needs to be stronger. Dockmasters are great, location is great.
Great marina, new floating docks, new bathrooms, courtesy car. Very protected and only 1.5 miles to town.

Great location right in town, bathroom facilities nice, free ice when weekend dock master is there. Slips are very narrow and finger piers not long enough making it difficult to get on and off boats, essentially self service docking arrival and departure. Be very careful on channel entrance as warned as markers move due to shoaling. If you draw more than 5 feet you will be challenged. Transient docks are exposed to Southeast fetch. Crab pots are terrible and literally hundreds to dodge.
