Very nice staff, especially Amy the dockmaster. Nice docks, cute town and very delicious dinner at yacht club.
This is the 3rd Safe Harbor Marina we've stayed at and each time we are impressed how accommodating they are. Nice laundry, they solved our mechanical issues, courtesy car to reprovision and even a corn hole game on the dock. Chris is an excellent dockmaster!
Our favorite marina in Maine. Nancy and Charlie are always helpful and knowledgeable. Location is great and we love the new building with restaurants, coffee shop and more. .
We love all the updates, new docks, laundry, store, cafe, ect. Nice and quiet place to stay!
Awesome location! Floating docks but wakey and rolling during day, better at night. We used 2 washers/dryers, convienent. We enjoyed trolley tour.
Nice floating docks, subject to some waking when boats or ferries pass by. Staff very nice, restaurant ambiance very nice, food was so so. Next time we will try Crown Jewel or eat at the inn. Loved the history of Fort Mckinley and especially enjoyed the golf cart history tour by Ben; fabulous researcher and historian. Diamond cove inn looks like a fabulous place to stay and very historical!
We were dockside, tied up to a concrete floating dock and it was very calm at night. Roslyn is a gem to work with as well as Tom Brown. We ate at Lexies Restaurant, outdoor and covered seating overlooking marina- Great food and drinks!
We were pleasantly surprised how nice this marina is, and the calm waters while docked at Kittery Point Marina. Jason, Tara and Cher are helpful and welcoming. Kittery is a charming town, we visited Fort MCclary, Seapoint Beach and Frisbees for dinner. After departing, we boated over to Prescott Park in Portsmouth. We even decided to store our boat on the hard here during the winter. We look forward to our return.
Loved Newburyport! Great docks and nice staff, laundry room was nice too, calm harbor at night but boat traffic during day can rock the boat. Great restaurants nearby. One of our favorite stops from Florida to Maine.
Such a beautiful, quant town. Dined at Calas twice and laughing gull; both great restaurants! Grocery store and Dunkin Donuts nearby. We even took the train to Rockport. Great stop and convenient location. Would be nice if docks had power and could be lit up a tad at night.
Great marina with nice floating docks. Convenient to grocery store, cvs, ace hardware, hair dressers, laundromat and restaurants. Nice people. We will return on southbound trip! 😀
If only all yacht clubs were as friendly and welcoming as Westport Yacht Club! Gary the vice commodore was waiting our arrival to help us with our lines, even at a newly 60 years old, he sprung into action! The food was delicious and we enjoyed eating on the scenic deck. All the other members were nice too! We hope to return on our way home.
Very nice yacht club, the members and/or guests were very friendly. The Chef at the restaurant is excellent and prepares a perfect bronzed fish. We wish that it was easier access to the down town; there are no side walks and the road is too busy and narrow for walkers. Docks were nice as well.
Excellent Yacht Club, they go out of their way to make everything a pleasant experience. We have visited may Yacht Clubs and we are proud to be members of HRYC.
