Safe Harbor Oxford

This is a good location. The bathrooms are the best marina ones I've seen. But we ended up in a slip next to a boat being worked on with sawing, grinding, and smelly epoxy. Otherwise you'd be 5 stars.

Bravo Safe Harbor Oxford for consistently maintaining and operating one of the nicest marinas on the Chesapeake. Top facilities, many recently renovated and upgraded, run by personable and experienced staff.

Really enjoyed the marina. The office manager (or finance manager) met me to help dock. Such great people. Nice facilities and great location. Only downside was the Robert Morris Inn was closed.

October 2024 - Love coming to Oxford. Jeff and staff are very friendly and responsive. Only negative comment is as noted in previous comments - more lighting is needed as marina is very dark. June 2021 - Love the floating docks! The marina looks great and we thoroughly enjoy our time in Oxford and will continue to stay at this marina. Jeff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. Our only issue with the marina is the lack of lighting in the dock area as nighttime visibility is very poor. October 2020 - We were happy to be able to get back to Oxford now that phase 1 of the dock work was completed. We love the town of Oxford and we really enjoy stating at this marina. We do strongly recommend that the docks be furnished with lighting as it is very dark and could be dangerous walking the docks after dark. Additionally, we had issues the the WIFI connection and suggest boosters be placed along the docks to improve service. The dock work completed to date is very well done. We will be back next season. This is an older review - We enjoyed our stay at the Oxford Marina and Boat Yard. We were disappointed that there is no longer a complimentary continental breakfast available. Additionally, there was no water on "G" dock which was a great inconvenience to a couple we were traveling with. Seems not much was being done to correct the problem as the line broke on Friday and still no water on Sunday. We will definitely stay at this marina in the future.

We always enjoy Oxford. Safe Harbor Oxford is a great marina with excellent staff. Restrooms and showers are very nice. Jeff and the crew at Safe Harbor Oxford always take good care of us.

Great stay ! We came in on a Sunday night and received a quick response by VHF. Dockwa made it a breeze to save the slip- and were given a starboard side tie to one of their T heads. Staff was friendly and helpful with pumpout on arrival. King tides flooded most of Oxford, making the marina an island temporarily- but the floating docks were superb. Bathrooms and showers are literally "best on bay"- and clubhouse afforded many some Sunday night football ! Would suggest some solar lighting on D dock, as it was very dark with some lights out. That all said- Safe Harbor has made this a first class stop and I look forward to returning! Resolute- IP 439

Not our first stay at SHO but like our previous ones this stay was also a pleasant one. The bathroom/showers are IMO the best on the bay. Why don’t other marinas have the same quality of showers? Don’t they know that those kinds of facilities are what keep boats coming back. The staff was friendly and helpful with our docking. The pool was very nice too but always seems to be almost too cool to cold even on the hottest days! How do they do that? But it is very refreshing.

Great facility and wonderful staff.

We have been here many times over the years as this is a wonderful marina. Jeff and his staff do a great job with fuel, helping you dock and anything you need. There are all floating docks, spacious clean and beautiful bathrooms and lounge, and a lovely well kept pool. Fuel dock easy to get to. If I lived closer I would keep my boat baji-naji here. Since I don't, this is a favorite spot when cruising this part of the Bay.

The staff is pleasant. The pool was clean. Please teach your dockhands what starboard and port mean. They told us we would be tying up lines on the starboard side; therefore, I had all of my dock lines affixed to the starboard cleats. On approaching the dock, we find out we are tying up on the port side. There was no way to even tie up on the starboard side as there was no finger pier there. This is very frustrating for a first mate. Luckily , there was little to no wind. The dock hands also told another boat in our group the wrong side to tie up on. The docks have inefficient lighting. Most of the lights on "I" dock are burned out. Please fix them as this is very dangerous when walking back to a boat at nighttime. Other than that - nice to have bikes and clubhouse was nice for our function.

As always, EXCELLENT! Jeff runs a wonderful operation at Safe Harbor Oxford, and our group event could not have gone better. He and Robert were accommodating in every way, from initial docking through departure. Bravo!!

Dock master and staff were excellent. However when we arrived we learned the pool was closed because a pump failed. The pool was a big reason for choosing the marina. It would have expected the marina to tell us this information when I booked it.

Facilities were top notch, especially the lounge and restrooms. I would have liked to have more experienced dockhands helping us with lines.

Clean and well maintained with very courteous staff. Two nice restaurants within walking distance - Capsize and the Gov. Morris Inn. Also Pope's Tavern in town is EXCELLENT and will co. Pick you up at the marina and take you back.

Love floating docks and marina staff is very courteous!

The marina is nice but we were docked at the boat yard. While it is right next to the marina you have to walk 5 minutes to the bath house ,grills and pool. You don’t walk 10 minutes back and forth every time you need to go to the bathroom. The heads at the boat yard are not nice… You pay the same rate but have not convenient access to the amenities…

We were way out on the "I" dock, which is far from the facilities, with tight maneuvering and narrow slip. But the marina location is great relative to the town of Oxford, the staff were courteous and helpful, the facilities -- once you reach them -- were nice. The slip depths & power were both fine, no problems with current, winds nor wake.

Our stay could not have been better. The folks there are incredibly helpful and friendly; the docks are amazing. The restrooms are nicer than most hotel suites I've stayed in, and sunsets from the captain's lounge are to die for. We will be back!!

Outstanding marina staff, very clean and modern facility. Really, a top notch facility, typical of Safe Harbor Marinas

The amenities were fantastic, however we were put at the old rundown docks at the boatyard. First Mate stubbed toe, fell, and skinned knee from a warped dock board sticking up over an inch. The worst part was the boatyard side was separated from the main marina by a condominium property and the community beach parking lot. The walk from our slip to the pool was 1/3 of a mile! Might have felt differently if it had been explained ahead, and wasn't charged the high premium rate of the main marina with the nice floating docks near the pool and bath house.

Always a great stop on our annual Chesapeake loop. Jeff is always very accommodating. Nicest floating docks around.

Very nice marina in a super quaint, quiet town. But our sailboat has a very deep keel (7' 4") so we can only get it to the T Head of Dock H, which is in the old, boatyard section of the marina. The boatyard side is old, skinny, rough, and uneven docks. This side is stationary (not floating docks like on the upgraded side near the pool). The boatyard side has the old, not air -conditioned bathrooms. They are kept clean however. The staff is very nice and helpful though. So if you can get into the new side with the newish bathhouse and facilities, which are very nice and clean, stay on that side.

Staying at Oxford is always a pleasure. The people are great. The facilities are beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality.

This was a great stay in a very peaceful little town. The SH Oxford marina was excellent with a great crew. Jeff was so helpful with docking and all of our “local” questions. Aimee went out of her way to pick up packages that we had sent. The captains lounge and bath house are brand new and fantastic. Nice area to walk, enjoyed a drink at Capsize (just next to the marina) and coffee at Oxford Social. Would return in a heart beat 👌🏻

Marcus and Mia were a great help arriving and departing. I highly recommend them. Private bath showers too!

Great dock help, nice new floating docks, lovely clean bathrooms. No on-site restaurant but we were prepared for that and unfortunately the local highly rated ice cream place was closed for the season. Returned this year and found the service department to be fast, knowledgeable, and super helpful. There is also a very good restaurant within walking distance at the Robert Morris Inn, and the Scottish cream ice cream place is now on the main drag and open.

Been to OBY for the past 20 years. While it is a lovely marina the best think about this place is the boat yard (our preference for docking). While it doesn't have floating docks (yet) the staff of the boat yard are the best on the East Coast. Graham, Jason and their crew are the best I have experienced in a life of sailing. You cannot go wrong with service in this yard. Simply, the best I have experienced for serious and not so serious repairs.

We stayed Oct 14 and 15 and were very impressed with the staff and facilities. Jeff and Tristan were 2 of the most friendly and helpful people we've ever met. We will certainly stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Safe Harbor Oxford is our favorite marina (other than Herrington South, our home port). The common room, laundry, and bathrooms are the best anywhere. The only thing I’d add would be an elliptical machine.

we had a pleasant stay at the marina 10/3/23 but were annoyed that in season rates were applied despite lack of some services like the pool. Also at these rates, bicycles should be offered for free. We see Safe Harbor is buying up marinas and increasing fees for everything. Disappointing. SUN STAR

As a marina this place is great. Nice, new, clean bathroom/shower set up and fantastic boaters lounge. Solid floating docks in calm water. Pool is also good, but has a fairly small pool deck and not really enough shade parasols on busy days. The marina is a bit far from town, but then there’s not much in town to go to. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Dock hands were nice and the marina manager met us when we came in and helped us tie up. The facilities were clean and well managed. Only thing they should work on is lighting where you get on the piers.

Wonderful marina … from the floating docks, inviting pool, huge showers, comfortable lounge. But what really made this an outstanding marina was Jeff (dock master) and his staff (go Marcus). Truly professional, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. The only “hit” was that WiFi was not consistent … sometimes you got it, sometimes you didn’t. Another plus was that the town of Oxford, although not a huge town, was an easy 10 min walk from the marina. Note: if you’re interested in visiting a particular museum/business, check the times that they are actually open. Several places are closed more often than open.

This is a stunning marina!! A must stay on the bay. Staff is top notch, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for its customers. Location is perfect to walk into town. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Always a pleasure here. Nicest bath house I have ever seen at a marina. Great pool for a hot day with good view. New mostly floating docks are great with very capable dock hands. At the moment Wi-Fi at dock is not working great due to problems of merging system with nearby marina with now common ownership. However Wi-Fi in club house is better. If good Wi-Fi is vital during your stay check for an update when you book. Town has great cell service from antennas on water tower near marina ----- Stayed here again on 7/19/21. Everything still great except Wi-Fi which is better than before, but can be glacial at times when other people are active. Fortunately there is great cellular coverage from the nearby water tower. --- Stayed again on 10/10/22 Pool was obviously closed but service was as good as always. Wi-Fi was good but not a good test as marina was basically empty at this time of year. As a review posted outside the heads says, this place has the greatest showers on the Chesapeake! ========= Despite being owned by the huge Safe Harbor marina/RV park conglomerate, this marina continues to be top notch with an outstanding staff.

The new-ish floating docks and bathhouse are great. Very clean pool and grounds. WiFi worked well on the dock.

I rated this as a 3 star for this trip only. The marina staff was helpful as they always have been. We have been there before several times. We have always been on the floating dock side which allows access to the better bathrooms and showers as well in the summer the pool. This time we were placed on the older side at the boat yard. The bathrooms were old and in need of work and the walk to the pool was 5 to 10 minutes. They did offer to come pick you up in a golf cart if they were not busy. This review isn't to reflect on staff. Some of your experience good or bad may depend on the slip selection they put you in. I rated my previous trips with a 5 start as were on floating docks putting you near all the picnic tables, pool and better structures. This reduction was based on slip assignment and amenities with that slip assignment. This is one of our favorite destinations and we will be back again.

Beautiful marina, stayed on inside of C Dock (2nd time). Easy access even with a full keel sailboat. Staff is friendly and professional, showers and restrooms are spacious, modern and clean. A favorite of ours.

The updated floating docks are wonderful. The baths are beautiful and the lounge is a great resource. But the best experience was the service we received from the Oxford Boatyard. We had a failed air conditioning system that had leaked all of the freon. Graham Norbury diagnosed the issue and effected a quick repair to save our cruise! This is one of the best and most capable technical resources I have encountered in any marina on the Bay in 21 years of ownership.

Unimpressed. Was relegated to a slip in the boatyard that was way to far from the amenities. I felt like the Safe Harbor ‘members’ got the good locations. Will not return.

The marina side of the facility is very nice and the restrooms are just lovely. I will point out that there are not enough restrooms for the number of guests wishing to shower - there's always a waiting line at peak times. The boatyard side of the facility needs upgrading if you're going to put nice expensive guests there. The restrooms and dirty and in very poor condition. The docs are in need of reconstruction and are dangerous in some places. When making a reservation, I believe it's important to let guests know which side of the facility they will be on -

Our first visit after Safe Harbor invested in this marina. Our expectations were exceeded. Without a doubt we will be repeat visitors.

We were on I dock. Too far away from pool and lounge/ bath area. Got fuel and the dock hand dragged us along the dock leaving a long mark on the hill. Hope we are able to get it out. All staff were helpful and friendly.

This marina is exceptional. Shout out to Jeff the Dockmaster and Jamie who went above and beyond to help us trouble shoot an electrical issue with the charter boat we were on after hours. Sadly we ended up being without power but it was determined to be an issue with the sailboat and not the shore power at the marina. The facilities are some of the nicest I've used as a transient.

Safe Harbor went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute dock request as well as my trailer. Very friendly staff and Jeff was outstanding in providing everything we needed during our stay.

Nice marina, Great pool, floating docks all good. My sailboat is a 27 foot Catalina. I was put in a 25-foot slip. Josh on the dock was very helpful getting us tied up. Getting out was a mess. The ally was too narrow for me to back-out and get a enough clearance on my bow for forward turn. I ended up drifting backward without a way to get clear of any docked boats. Some friends ran to my rescue and managed to push my bow away from the pilings and boats.

Dockhand met us quickly. Had a bottle of wine for us. Dock, Club and bath house were like new. Oxford was nice town too.

Wonderful spot. Bicycles are well maintained and swimming pool is swim-able. They were full and put us in the boat yard which was quiet and comfortable. All told, a great transient experience.

Staff was very helpful with docking. The restroom / showers, which perhaps were secondary for overflow customers were very sub par.

We had a great stop at Safe Harbor Oxford. The Marina staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities are outstanding. Marina is in protected water. Plenty of draft for sailboats. The boatyard side is outstanding. Service staff were ready to assist on short notice and were very knowledgeable. Two things that don't often happen with boat yards.

This place is amazing. We love it here! Service is excellent. We loved the large, clean bathhouse and lounge area. The location is perfect and we love that it is dog friendly.

The problem lies with the inclusion of the old docks from Oxford boatyard (called docks H and I). These docks are fixed and not very high (our dock was 3 inches under water the morning we were trying to leave) and there is quite a walk to the wonderful bathrooms and lounge attached to the original Oxford Marina. But, you still pay the same price as charged at the section with the floating docks and easy access to the bathrooms. This just isn’t right!

Fantastic facility and staff.

The staff at this marina are very helpful, and the actual marina has a pretty setting and great facilities. I had booked well in advance, but, without being told this, was given a slip that is actually in the adjacent Oxford Boatyard, which I guess Safe Harbour has annexed. I realise Memorial Day weekend is a busy one, but the docks/amenities are totally different. Old docks and finger piers, a 15 minute walk out on the road to get to the marina bathhouse/office/pool/facilities. There is a small, old restroom facility at the boatyard. I was charged the same price as I would have paid at a nice new dock, close to all the luxuries. (Price higher than last year.) As sailors, my crew and I made the best of it, and enjoyed Oxford, but a free bottle of wine at check-in didn’t quite compensate for the very different facilities at the boatyard.

Jeff and his team did a fantastic job and made our stay most enjoyable. Oxford is a great town and the amenities at Safe Harbor are top notch. Always a favorite destination for us.

Great space and pool

Communication was great, all staff were welcoming and very helpful. The slip was easy to get in and out of, close to facilities and grass for our dog. The town is just a short walk away. Bathrooms were new, spacious and kept clean at all times. Captain’s lounge was a bonus. We had a very comfortable stay here for 3 nights. Highly recommended!

We spent 5 months at Safe Harbor Oxford and were very impressed with the experience. All of the facilities are in good shape and well maintained. Our ship spent 4 months on the hard in the boatyard where we had quite a bit of work done. The planning and execution of all tasks was very professional and the analysis and recommendations made were experienced and helpful. The communication in the boatyard and between boatyard and marina functioned very well. All staff members were helpful and friendly and made our stay a pleasant experience. We definitely plan to return again next year!

The marina staff was really pleasant and helpful docking. The marina itself was clean and well kept. There were floating docks, but we (being transient boaters for one night) were put on a fixed dock which was difficult at high tide and low tide. The town is in walking distance, and really quaint. Plenty of food choices and intriguing historic areas. All in all we would return to Safe Harbor Oxford and bring stepstools.

Outstanding staff and awesome facilities. Beautiful clean bath house and pool. Impeccable service! We had an electrical problem on our boat and the team was so incredibly helpful. They made sure our boat was safe and had the problem fixed in less than 24 hours. Jeff, Ted and Graham saved our trip and our dog! We cannot say enough good stuff about this marina. We visited Safe Harbor marina in Oxford on our 55 foot prestige and had a fantastic slip with a beautiful view right near the pool and main office. The clubhouse is super clean and very welcoming with the great bathhouse just next door. Only a short walk away from Capsize, a great restaurant to eat at, and the small town of Oxford. Will be visiting again!

Our visit was nice, the clubhouse a great place to gather the only negative was that two of our boats were at the Boatyard which was inconvenient for their access to the Clubhouse and its amenities. If Safe Harbor is to successfully incorporate the Boatyard into its Oxford operation, similar high quality amenities should also be made available there.

Beautiful marina with newly renovated docks, bathroom/showers, laundry, ships store and captains lounge. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. We borrowed bikes and rode into the quaint little town. There are about 3 restaurants (but only the Italian one was open on a Monday), a small museum and many lovely homes. It was a very restful stop.

Jeff and his team were fantastic! They were helpful and accommodating. Our best experience so far on the Chesapeake run.

Safe Harbor Oxford is one of the finest marinas in Chesapeake Bay. Jeff and Morgan were friendly and helpful. The individual shower rooms were a welcome amenity and the best we've seen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oxford. The bathrooms are spa quality and the Guest area, AKA "the Galley" is gorgeous and comfortable. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The quaint town of Oxford was a so beautiful and peaceful. The Strand and marina grounds as well as a downtown park were great places to allow the dogs some off leash exercise. This is one of our favorite Safe Harbor marinas so far. We look forward to returning.

No docking assistance even when dockmaster was given plenty of notice that we were being towed in a disabled boat. After he said he would have a couple guys there. Never checked on us. And it was in regular hours

We booked a slip on 9.24,2021, destination Oxford, MD for the 4th year in a row. Booked smoothly thru DOCKWA as usual and got lined-up for the following weekend. I asked for a "side-tie" on any available "T" dock so my Grand-kids could launch their kayaks. I know this was short notice but Jeff called me & confirmed he'd fix us up. Upon arrival it was evident Safe Harbor was "booked-up" but true to Jeff's work we got tied-up with no problem. Thanks Jeff!

Wonderful experience, Jeff the manager made every attempt to make our stay comfortable...when my boat would not accept the new pier power pedestal, he had it changed out to one that would work for my boat. Facilities are the best we have ever seen. We happen to stay their season ending weekend, which gave us an opportunity to partake in their picnic celebration free of charge...may have to make that a yearly event!

The newer facilities at Safe Harbor Oxford are really nice: good docks, lounge, beautiful and clean bathrooms. We were at first put in the older section, the (former?) Oxford Boat Yard. The docks are fixed and we were able to move to the newer section after one night. Good thing we did because a storm rolled through and the old docks for completely submerged! The wifi cut in and out a lot, which wasn't a big deal because we had our own wifi on the boat. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Town was cute and a lot of fun to visit.

Excellent facility with new floating docks and new clubhouse with large individual bathrooms. Dockmaster Jeff is friendly and extremely helpful. Oxford is a gem of a town. Not touristy like St Michaels but very scenic with water all around the town and beautiful old homes and nice restaurants within a 15 to 20 minute walk from the marina.

We loved staying at SH Oxford. Eli the dock have was awesome. Friendly helpful and super hard working. I hope management knows what they have and treats him right!! He was outstanding.

The marina was great well maintained and the bathhouse was the best ever 5 star ! The dockmaster has to be the best on the eastern shore. Jeff M is personable professional and an asset to not only the marina but the town and safe harbor. We have never felt so welcome and accommodated.

The Dockwa reservation process was not only easy and quick, initially, when I extended the initial reservation two times, the Dockwa app was done with ease and promptly. When we arrived at Safe Harbor Oxford, we were welcomed by Jeff, and subsequently responded to our requests for fuel, pump out and ice; and, the slip assignment was with the considerations that I had noted in my reservation request. PERFECT! Our interactions with Jerry and the Dockhand that invited us to the ice cream social were as if they had known us for years! When we left, this morning, I was sad. I want to go back, more. We are LiveAboards, I wish Save Harbor Oxford would consider having Us as permanent LiveAboard Slipholders.

We (79 years old) were berthed in the old Boat Yard and not with our Club members in the new part of the marina. We were so far away we never used the new bathhouse and pool, etc. The piers where we berthed were in poor condition and not what you should expect for the the price we paid for the stay.

Beautiful new floating docks, a terrific club house, a common area for boaters, picnics area, nice grills. Jeff and Eli were very helpful, welcoming and very accommodating for Sailing Club of the Chesapeake sailors the last 2 days! We’ll be back, we love Oxford!

When we came in the winds were blowing pretty hard we had two dock hands helping us but if they knew how to use a spring line it would have gone much smoother. They were more concerned getting the bow and stern lines and didn’t secure the spring line. If they had secured the spring line first I could have motored fwd and laid up along side the dock

It was OK. We were expecting to be at the floating piers, but were at the fixed docks. The prearrival email from the marina had a dock plan, but did not include the pier to which we were assigned. One of the dock crew did not understand that if you take a line, you put it to a cleat, not stand on the pier and hold it (safety issue for the person). In the plus side, no jelly fish.

It was good unfortunately there was not availability on the new dock, but they told me before getting there. Nice facility on the new marina Great service arriving to help docking.

Looks like they’ve recently replaced all docks and electrical connections. Beautiful but slips aren’t visibly numbered yet. We got there after closing so just picked empty slip. Nice pool and beautiful new bathhouse. Easy same-day reservation with Dockwa then called before closing to check on us. Looking forward to return.

The staff were outstanding. We had a small mechanical issue and asked for some help from their yard. We had a mechanic on the boat that afternoon and back again the next morning to diagnose the issue. Very professional and helpful. We are going to return in the fall for a longer stay.

FIRST REVIEW July 2018: We have been talking about coming here for years and seem to go everywhere else in the area but Oxford. Finally made it on July 7&8 with three other boats in our group. We absolutely loved the town of Oxford. This marina is in a perfect location and is well maintained. We stayed at the boatyard side which we liked as it was quieter on Sat night. The amenities which are mostly on the other side including fabulous bathrooms and pool and gas grills were nice and only a very short walk. Could use more bathrooms as there was a line Sat night. When the boatyard work resumed Mon morning it was loud and I'm not sure I would enjoy this side during the week but we were leaving anyway. Capsize restaurant and the famous ice cream store are right there. We biked and walked all over town and truly enjoyed it. Plan to come back in August for another weekend. My husband says it's now his favorite marina and price is very reasonable too. UPDATE September 2019: Can I give more than 5 stars? Never made it back last year due to weather issues but made sure to come here in May of this year and again this past week. We stayed on the marina side both of these times and absolutely loved both stays again as did our friends who came along. Jeff and his staff are top notch, efficient and super friendly. We have friends who keep their sailboat here and they love it as well. If we lived closer, this would be our home marina. Thanks, Jeff!! See you next year! Update: May 2021: We never got back to the marina in 2020 due to the construction and the pandemic. We made sure to get there early this season and spent two days May 23 and 24. The new floating docks are just beautiful as is the whole marina. Staff is great as always. Our only issue was that we tripped the breaker on the power pedestal a few times. Once it was one of our A/Cs and once it was a coffee maker but it was not even consistent. We understand that the electrical is up to the latest codes and many boats may have some issues. From my reading up on it it seems like many older boats ( ours is 2006 cruiser 42 ft) and even some newer boats can have issues so keep that in mind. We know it was not our power cords. We will definitely go back and we think we worked out how to mot trip the breakers. Update June 2021: Jeff the dock master was extremely helpful and friendly as always. After we tied up at our lovely floating slip we discovered that we tripped the breaker again on the power pedestal. We tried several different permutations of power cords, splitters and even a different pedestal but kept tripping. Our friends with a newer boat had no problem. Jeff was able to move us to a really nice slip on the T over at the boatyard side where we had no problems. I’m fact we’re thought our view was even nicer! Although it is a longer walk to the really nice bathhouse and clubhouse and the pool it is not a deal breaker at all. We definitely plan to come back since we love the marina, the staff and the town of Oxford. Meantime we will continue to look into our boat’s electrical system and our power cords to see if there is a fixable issue. Thanks again, Jeff!

The new facilities are excellent and the dock boys and girls are also excellent and helpful. However, when I first arrived they asked me to go into a slip at "The Shipyard" (old fixed slips rather than the floating slips at the marina) which had no 50 Amp service and and was very difficult to get off; especially for my wife. I requested to be relocated to the marina and they did accommodate this request. As I said the Maria itself and its facilities are excellent.

Our 2-night docking at Safe Harbor Oxford was as pleasant as could be. The transient slip was easily accessible, the facilities fresh and clean, the staff extremely cordial and helpful. Best of all were the surrounding views from the cockpit at every time of day.

Dockmaster is friendly and helpful. Easy approach -- no issues with water depth in the creek at all. There is 9 feet most of the way to the slips. All new floating docks and generally refurbished marina. Creek is beautiful with lots of activities and it is an easy walk to "downtown". Definitely will return.

Great marina. Location is perfect for access to this quaint town, we walked from the marina to Docs and made our way back easily. There is a small town beach nearby for any other shell collectors and some locals were fishing perch from the pilings. Marinas bathhouse and showers were fantastic. I think the bathhouse could be fitted out more to include appliances like freezer, real cream in the fridge etc and some kind of breakfast option since the local town literally had none. It may be covid related. Our dock did not have floating docks, I understand its being updated. The team member who came out was helpful, printed out information and map for us.

Great place to stay in Oxford. The marina was very nice and people friendly. The new Bath House with Laundry and a Captain's Lounge was beautiful! Easy to get to also. Easy walk to town from there. Bike rental was a plus. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great location on the right just as you enter Town Creek. Fuel dock and shop convenient to pull up. Staff very nice and helpful. Lovely and easy walk along the shore to center of town. Over the winter, the remaining upgrades are expected to be accomplished. Will definitely be back!
