We idled in after becoming somewhat disabled, we were met by Kelsey and the crew here at SH South Harbor and could not have been treated better! Great docks, facilities and people make this marina one of our favorites! Thank you all!
Other than a ton of weed for the second year in a row, this is a very nice harbor-best on the Vineyard! Great launch service, good beaches, nice lighthouse, good dinghying! Thanks for making all of our cruises enjoyable and memorable! Great town as well!
Got in after the early 1600 closure and left in the early morning before opening, but Sarah provided a marina map via text and was very helpful. Will be back!

Another first-rate Safe Harbor facility! Cam & Brandon met us and were very couteous, friendly, professional, & helpful getting us into the slip. Everyone we talked to was helpful as well-we will be back!

Pros: Beautiful harbor, nice town, nice people, museum was okay. Cons: Cost was out of line at a dollar a foot for an unprotected mooring w/o launch service. Next time, we will stay at one of the moorings in town.
Although we did not see anyone (weekend, still off-season), Sue took real good care of us and put ARIES in a beautiful face dock with great view-thank you! Her instructions were precise and simple-we will be back. The yard and marina seemed to be clean and neat.
Great marina, nice docks, good folks-what else can we say?! Arrived late in the afternoon and left early, so didn’t get off the docks. Since we arrived after the folks left, they made a point to give us good directions. Good water, no current-we will be back!
Although a little tight for our 64’ loa, Eric was great with directions and his knowledge of Gloucester. We’ll be back!
Good mooring, good directions to said mooring, nice harbor. Calm with a large variety of working vessels. Great shopping for the girls on the Fairheaven side at the Euro stores.
Nice, helpful folks (Adam & Shane), nice docks, nice town. Would be a five, but docks had a lot of bird poop-season still early, though. Thanks for a nice stay!
Great place and nice mooring operation. Launch was quick and Becky was professional and friendly. Only objection was moorings too close together. It was early in the season so field was fairly empty, but if this was a crowded summer weekend, we would have been close! As it were, we were swinging into other mooring balls. Thanks for a nice stay-we will be back (on week days!).
Great stay at the Jekyll Harbor Marina! Had an unscheduled stop early in the afternoon and was met by Chris and Jim. They were professional and friendly. Nice docks and a beautiful area. We’ll be back!
