Paducah Marina is a great stop! The town is steps away with wonderful places to eat, (try Doe’s meatball sub and the scones and cinnamon rolls from the bakery!), historic places (quilt museum and train museum), and the local brewery is a must. But what really makes it such a great stop is John….the most wonderful person ever at the marina. He goes above and beyond to make sure your every need is met while in Paducah. You have one more member of your family when he’s there! The dock itself is new, clean, extra wide, and a great place to spontaneously gather with other boaters in the evening. Highly recommend this stop!
Clean, convenient, with a wonderful staff! Views are awesome, especially at night! Sorry that the two on site restaurants were open on only a limited basis. They appeared to be very nice. We wholeheartedly recommend this marina if you want a real treat!
We arrived and were told someone would be right over to assist us after fueling another boat. No one showed up. Other boaters in the marina helped us dock. We had no power. (Connections on dock were broken.) The following day, they did comp the night and moved us to a different dock that had power. When we left the following day, we took on about 150 gallons of fuel. 20 miles out, our engine quit. We had gotten bad fuel. All filters were black and both fuel lines were totally clogged. We had to call for a tow inshore. We walked our dog on the strip of grass along the sidewalk heading towards the fuel dock. There was dog waste everywhere! One of the women’s restrooms/showers was taped off and not able to be used. As much as I would like to, we can not recommend.
Marina office was very accommodating, particularly with an approaching storm and many requests for dockage. Dockhands were extremely helpful upon arrival. Restrooms/showers are clean. Shuttle into town was terrific! Our dog had many boaters to flirt with along the 1550 ft. mega dock! (Very dog friendly marina.) Publix not too far away for anyone needing to reprovision.
Our stay was wonderful! The marina is clean, well maintained, and in a lovely area. It was great that they had Thirsty Thursday on the dock. Personnel are very thoughtful and helpful. They are most definitely pet friendly. Don’t expect to get an Uber or Lyft to Beaufort riverfront, and don’t look for WiFi as indicated. Definitely recommend!
The staff are unbelievably attentive and helpful! The marina is quiet and clean. We made use of their free laundry facility! A short Uber ride to anything in Savannah. Definitely recommend!
Charming place to be! The marina staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The grounds and facilities were clean. The restaurant is great. The island itself is a must-see, especially by bike as their bike trails are awesome!
