Friendly, helpful Harbormaster and staff. Great location, with excellent access to restaurants as well as shops for provisioning. Good facilities.
Harbor master helpful in finding the mooring. The launch forgot about us and the facilities are mediocre at best. Good restaurant and provisioning options.
Very positive. Helped us find the mooring, launch was responsive, and facilities are good, especially for a boat yard. Marion is a pretty town. We’ll be back.
Excellent facilities, easy walk to town for restaurants, friendly and helpful staff (once you get hold of them). Would be a five star except that I had a devil of a time getting anyone from the club to answer or return calls when I needed some info in advance.
I don’t generally give fives. Mooring was an easy stick pickup, facilities (laundry and bathroom) were essentially new, and the staff were responsive. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants. No places to provision, however. Bristol seems to be a party spot, judging from last night, so if you’re a light sleeper who turns in early, beware. I had a restful night on the mooring. I would return.
Glad to have this option when transiting the Canal. Excellent eating options, and a full grocery store (Stop and Shop) within easy walking distance. The facilities and office are quite a hike, but excellence once you get there. Helpful staff but felt like big brother was watching, especially up by the office/facilities.
The place is gorgeous but the facilities were surprisingly rudimentary. Staff were largely kids who were variably responsible.
Great location. New faculties - terrific. You have to be let into them each time - no fob or code, which isn’t the most convenient way to go about things. I know other reviewers have praised the Harbormaster staff as super helpful and friendly. That wasn’t exactly my experience. At times they seemed annoyed by my questions.
Very friendly staff, especially the launch drivers. Excellent amenities and facilities. Outstanding access to town. Expensive and as is true at many places, the check in procedure is highly variable. I got some key info just by happening upon somebody else being checked in.
Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. Good facilities. I was on the H dock and it was a hike to the facilities the way the marina is set up. Also I was wanting a pump out and it never seemed convenient for them (didn’t happen) even though they have a pump out port at every slip.
Outstanding facility and very helpful staff. Great food options onsite, courtesy car, excellent laundry and showers. What more could you ask for? Not cheap but worth it. Beware that the marina is populated by sports fishing boats. The one next to me left at 4:30 am and returned at 10:30 pm. There was no sleeping through it. But I don’t recall this happening when I stayed last summer, so I think I was unlucky with my slip assignment this year. Overall, great place.
Very accommodating staff. Good deal for $35. Enjoyed the seafood risotto take out. But can be a very rolly spot to spend the night.
It’s a rolly spot, otherwise it would be a 5. The BPYC staff are super nice and accommodating, and the store is great. I’ll be back I’m sure.
Expensive but I liked the stay. The folks who run the launch (free with mooring) are very friendly and accommodating. All good.
Now moored twice in Tenants Harbor. I found it to be a rolly Harbor.
The Lyman-Morse folks did what they needed to and were cordial. No complaints. The harbor was rolly but that’s not their fault.
