Very pleasant harbor and easy well marked entrance! The yacht club had readily available mooring balls. Easy to extend our stay, so we could dinghy in and see the town. Nice place. We had no contact with the yacht club other than on the phone to extend our stay. Highly recommend it as a nice stop over!
Very nice place. Could not contact them on VHF until we were well within the basin heading for the fuel dock to see if anyone was there! Very very tight space for turning a 40 foot sailboat! Used lots of prop walk to maneuver into our slip and out when departing. Fuel dock was tight too. Otherwise very nice place with pool and bbq area. Had a great cookout with our friends. Nice clean showers. Long walk to any shopping but Uber is available. Staff ounce they appeared were very friendly helpful docking.
Beautiful place with many nice amenities! Nice beach near by. Beautiful lush green salt marshes with Egrets! Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Definitely a great place to hang and explore? Isle of Skye
We stayed here 3 nights recently on our 40' Sloop Isle of Skye! Beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff! Staff gave us very clear and timely directs on the VHF as we approached, so it was very easy to find our slip assignment! He also sent someone to guide us in and help with the dock lines. Very easy after a long day of sailing! Very clean and quiet with nice wide docks. Showers and on shore bathrooms were a long walk away, however they do provide electric cart rides on request to shore! Great walk up seafood restaurant right there, Butler's Flat, over looking the marina. Great Sole and Scallops! Only critique would be they need more shade, since all the seats are outdoors! More umbrellas and an awning around the building would make it much better! There are several restaurants and a great ice cream shop within walking distance too! The town can be reached by Water Taxi Sands Point is a beautiful place to visit from there! We had a wonderful stay and will stay there again!
Greg and Gay and all the staff are great. Very helpful with everything! We love just hanging out here because it's such a fun and comfortable place to be. Love the new floating docks. Wish we could be on one of those next time! Thx, Cap'n Bill
Wonderful place! Tom is so nice and helpful! He obviously cares about his guests! Very accommodating with a great slip, explaining the layout and amenities, plus local knowledge of the surrounding area! I can't say enough good things about the whole atmosphere of that place, which he helps create. Rondout is a charming place to stop, with lots of character. Plenty of things to do too, if you have time to stay awhile? Pleasant!
Very nice Marina. Beautiful place with plenty of space. Very nice clean showers and bathrooms. Very protected from the south and east wind. Nice staff, very sparce. Limited ships store but have essentials. Rustic wooded grounds with grills. Trash is a long way away and no trash cans in the grill area. Great place and nice people!
Definitely not my kind of place! Very expensive for a slip, $111+ per night for a 28 ft boat. When I went to check-in, the dockmaster had left early and the boy in the office didn't seem to know what he was talking about! I was asked if I were a member of the resort. I said no, so he said okay you're all set. No map, no expanation nothing. Then I went back to ask where the showers were and was told boaters were NOT allow to use the showers, they were not for public use, only for resort members, so it would cost an extra $20, $40 for my wife and me! $40 bucks for a shower on an overnight stay! No where on Dockwa did I see any mention of these extra charges! I refused to pay that much, so we did without. The right hand does not know what the left is doing! The next morning when I checked out the Dockmaster appologized saying he was very sorry and that what I had been told was incorrect. We could use the showers and could do so now if we wanted to, a bit after the fact! Maybe a family who is coming for a week would be willing to pay $20 a person per day for use of all the resort facilities, but I could have anchored out for what I got and saved myself $111 dollars! The other members of my cruising group were unaware until checkout, that they were being charged $40 per night, per couple, to use the facilities and resort amenities! To end, it's so swallow and weedy, that I picked up weeds on my rudder leaving my slip, which affected my steering and autohelm all day long for our trip to Burlington! They did however, have a very friendly staff!
Great place. Nice docks with plenty of room. Good food and service at the restaurant. Fish and chips were great. Steak salad was wonderful. Very friendly helpful staff!
Joshua was very helpful helping with docking. Lots of space. Very friendly folks. Clean restrooms with showers. Short walk to park and restaurants. Excellent! Many interesting boats.
