We stayed here for a week. This was our second time here - last year for only 1 night. Great amenities -laundry, small gym, etc... All super clean. We did not need to use the shower facilities. We were on the fixed dock section - the docks are all in great shape. Pump out at every slip is handy. Really helpful and nice staff. Other marina guests were also very friendly - there's a really great vibe at this marina. Our slip had a terrific view of the sunset. Close to a bus stop for the Keys Loop. While a bit pricey for a 1 week stay, we would definitely come back!

This is the second time we have stayed at Dockside Marina and Resort. We stayed for about 5 weeks in Spring 2020. It is little pricey for a one-night stay. The current, which we knew about, makes it VERY difficult to dock safely. Luckily we were on a T head and some staff was there to help - very tricky. The docks are new, but not floating. We would return, but think their pricing is alittle high for transients.

On our way south, we stayed at Haven Harbour South Marina for about 3 weeks. The extended stay was so the marina could do some gel coat and non-skid repairs. Our stay at the marina was nice. Most of the facilities have been recently updated - bathrooms / showers / marine store / outdoor public areas. All were great. Laundry facilities were okay - one set of machines, but they worked great. Best of all was the atmosphere at the marina - there are a lot of sailboat seasonal slip holders and a lot of people doing day sailing. Really fun atmosphere. They also made us as transients feel welcome. The use of the courtesy van/car was very helpful. The docks could use some updating, but we understand that is on the list of upcoming renovations. We were satisfied with the repair work, even though color-matching on gel coat repairs is very difficult. While the repair is not "perfect" from a color standpoint, it is very well done. The repairs to the non-skid were also very well done. We strongly recommend this marina and would come back.

We stayed at Atlantic Highlands yacht club for 2 nights. We stayed there before in July 2020. The yacht club staff was again very responsive on Dockwa during the reservation process. The mooring field is very nice - logically laid out and very protected. The dockmaster was very helpful as we approached, telling us our mooring assignment and how to approach - super easy. We went to the fuel dock / pump out first and after seeing the size of our boat (50'), the dockmaster decided to move us to a different ball that was better for us - this was great. The launch service was great. There is a nice running / biking trail that goes right by the yacht club - great views of Sandy Hook Bay and NYC in the background.

Boatyard staff were very responsive during Dockwa reservation process. Approach to mooring field was easy. Marina staff were very helpful as we approached - we spoke with them on the phone and then they circled our mooring ball in the launch and ensured the bridle was okay. Very calm mooring with winds from the west - would also be calm with winds from east or north. Only exposed from the south. Launch service was good - just had to call using cell phones. Boatyard did not have a lot of amenities, but that was known when we made our reservation and was fine with us. We did not use showers, but they were available. We would definitely return!

This is the second time we have stayed at Norwalk YC. We returned because we had such a great visit the first time. Even though this is no longer the "high season", they still had plenty of helpful staff. We got water at their dock - super easy. The NYC staff were again very friendly and responsive during the Dockwa reservation process. We extended our stay to 2 nights. The NYC facilities are very nice. Launch service was great - still running to 9 PM. The wind was very strong the second night (gusts to 30 kt) - out of the South and the mooring field was very exposed and rolly, but nothing NYC could do about that. We will definitely come back.

We were on a mooring ball for about 10 days. We were off the boat for part of the time and felt very comfortable knowing the marina staff was watching out for it. The launch service was terrific. It was a bit rolly when the wind picked up from the E/NE, but still okay. They also have a shuttle and a staff member took us to the laundromat nearby. Very close to downtown Jamestown and shops/restaurants. The boat shuttle to Newport leaves from here. We did not utilize bathrooms / showers, but they looked nice. We would definitely come back again

Marina Response:
...and we hope you do come back again soon! Thanks for staying with us and for the five gold stars.

The marina staff was very helpful upon our approach - they came out in the skiff to show us the mooring ball location. The info received ahead of time in an email was also very helpful (map, instructions, etc... - it is a a large mooring field). The launch service was great. The launch operator was very helpful as we did not get any info from the other marina staff on how to get back on the property (card key gate), etc.... This is a very expensive mooring field - more than double any other mooring field we have ever been in - not sure we got our money's worth. The town of Salem was very interesting to walk around and visit.

The approach is well-marked and mooring field is very protected. The current can be very strong at the mouth of the dredged inlet, so you have to be cautious. The harbormaster was not working the day we arrived and we were unable to contact anyone on the requested VHF channel upon our arrival. He told us the previous day what our mooring ball # would be. However, when we got there, someone else was on that ball and we were not quite sure what to do, so we just picked up different ball - hoping no one else was planning to come to that one. It got sorted out the next day, which was fine. The harbormaster was very helpful with the launch service and letting us know about the amenities at the dock (pump out boat, pump out station, water, fuel, restrooms, etc....). We stayed 2 nights and would definitely come back - a really pretty place.

Great marina - the staff were extremely helpful and met all of our needs. We went to the fuel dock before going to our mooring ball - got fuel, pumped out, and filled water tanks - all with help from a very friendly staff person. The use of the courtesy car was great - for provisioning and an errand to Hamilton Marine. The LM Ships Store was also helpful with a request we had. The launch service was great. Per previous reports, the recent fire caused them to not have shower facilities or laundry - but that was okay. Camden was a terrific place to explore. We need up staying another night. Also as previously reported, the mooring field / harbor was a bit rolly, but that is a nor something the marina can control. We will definitely come back here.

We reserved a mooring ball ahead of time on Dockwa - very easy and got a quick response. The Gloucester HM sent several very helpful emails ahead of time about the various mooring fields, our mooring assignment, complimentary launch, facilities, things to see and do, etc... These were very helpful. The Inner Harbor mooring field is tight and we were very close to the next boat (we are on a 50 ft SV). After talking with the HM, they let us move to a different mooring. That was great. Also, the pump out boat staff were very responsive - coming to our boat very shortly after we called. Launch staff were nice and we used the launch several times for sightseeing, dinner, etc.... We midget another helpful email from the HM office after we left - probably was supposed to have been sent ahead of our arrival. We emailed them back about this. We would come back.

The location was great - our mooring ball was close to the Harbormaster office and close to the tender dock. However, for $67.50, there were really no facilities. Very helpful emails ahead of our arrival and after our arrival. Easy approach. Good instructions on how to get to our mooring. Great place to walk around and get seafood. Would come back.

We stayed on a mooring ball for 2 nights - easy to reserve on Dockwa. We planned to stay 5 nights and be there during Hurricane Isaias. On our way there, KYC called us and said we could not say past Sunday morning as they do not allow transients during hurricanes. We were disappointed by that news, but went anyway for 2 nights. The facility is very nice and the services were well-run. Beautiful location. Great area for bike riding and hiking. Did not have time to paddle board, but lots of people were doing that. Did not go to the beach, but it looked fun. We would go back.

Marina Response:
We’re sorry that the storm forced us to cut your stay short, but delighted that you enjoyed your visit. Please come again!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Newport. The mooring dock Is what was advertised - just that. No amenities, which was fine for us. Easy access and tie-ups. $3 per person for the Launch to Downtown Newport - a bit of a long ride. The Cove Mooring Mgmt was very accommodating when we had to change dates. They were very helpful with providing local info on the Launch, dinghy dock location, restaurants, etc. We would go back.
