Dock Office - Our new Dock Office opened in April of 2005. Features include: friendly and knowledgeable staff, (3) terminals for easy check-in and out, seating area for a warm reception, tourist information, vendor information, and much more.
Convenience Store - While staying with us at the Charleston City Marina, enjoy the convenience of on-site shopping for your basic grocery needs. You will be able to stock your vessel's galley with items such as juice, milk, bread, beer, wine, chips and many other grocery items. We also carry a limited selection of marine supplies and clothing items.

The Sea Store offers fresh brewed coffee in many flavors, cappuccino daily, and has a wide variety of fountain drinks. Catch up on local and international news by picking up the Post and Courier, USA Today, New York Times or one of the many area boating papers that we carry in our store. Need to catch up with family and friends? We offer calling cards so you can make those long distance calls.
Shuttle Service - The Charleston City Marina’s Courtesy Van departs every hour on the hour, transporting guests to the culture, history and charm that are uniquely Charleston. Enjoy gourmet cuisine, stunning architecture, and unique shops on antebellum streets. The Courtesy Van is on call to return guests to the marina throughout the day.


Bathhouse - Conveniently located on the docks, the Charleston City Marina’s floating bathhouse facility is second to none. The bathhouse features private shower rooms, which include a large private changing area, Corian solid surface countertops and sink, granite tile, and plenty of space to hang your clothes.

The City Marina’s restrooms and laundry are also located in the bathhouse. The restrooms offer plenty of lavatory space, and cleanliness you expect from the National Marina of the Year. The laundry is convenient to your vessel and a great service when traveling the ICW.

By Water: Charleston City Marina is located just off the Intracoastal Waterway at mile 469.5 on the Ashley River.

The Marina Staff monitors VHF Channel 16. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., closing at 6 p.m. in the off season.

By Land: From I-26 - Take I-26 to the end following signs to Hwy 17 South. Once on Hwy 17 South (Crosstown), go through 4 lights, staying in the center lane. Follow signs to Lockwood Drive. Turn left onto Lockwood Drive (before you cross the Ashley River Bridge). Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the 2nd stoplight.

From Hwy 17 South - After crossing the Arthur Ravenel Bridge into downtown Charleston, stay on Hwy 17 South (Crosstown) and go through 4 lights, staying in the center lane. Follow signs to Lockwood Drive. Turn left onto Lockwood Drive (before you cross the Ashley River Bridge). Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the 2nd stoplight.

From Hwy 17 North - After crossing the Ashley River Bridge, follow signs to Lockwood Drive South (1st Lockwood exit). Bear right onto Lockwood Drive. Marina is approximately 0.5 miles on the right at the second stoplight.
