Marina is clean and quiet. They’re on top of emails, welcoming you ahead of time etc. Directions good, dock hands available to grab lines. They were very nice but couldn’t leave quickly enough. No help with power cord. No instructions where to check in. Had to ask another boater on the dock where the office was. Little bit of a walk but that’s no problem. Finally found the office after asking another person. It’s also the ships store. Went in with several others at the same time. Wandered around looking for a live person. Finally went somewhat behind the counter to see two young ladies sitting there, both on their phones! Absolutely clueless that there were people in the store. I finally said excuse me for interrupting/bothering you but I need to check in. Oh ok, didn’t realize you were here. Hmm maybe you could get your noses out of the darn phones? Pretty sure you’re getting paid to work, not be on your phones. Anyways, they were pleasant and polite. Racine is a nice town. Had the best Thai food ever (place called Sticky Rice). No place to leave key cards (by the way they don’t always work) when departing, nothing open that early, no drop box, gal didn’t even say they wanted them back but I assumed. Found a place to hide them, called office to say where I left them. Overall nice stop.
Nice stay. Everyone in office and dock staff was super helpful and pleasant. Great town, easy to walk anywhere. Definitely recommend.
Great spot. Gal in office was super friendly. Clean and convenient to grocery store, pharmacy etc. Seems narrow and looks shallow when coming in but there’s plenty of depth. Algonic is a nice area, beautiful waterfront for walking or biking. Would definitely come back.
It was fine. Pros and cons like every other place. Pros: nice clean bath house with lots of showers. Nice laundry room. Big pool. Staff were very nice to deal with up at office. Cons: No staff anywhere to help with docking etc. only staff is office folks. It’s a hike and half to go to office. Thank be day we headed to office, it was 90 + degrees out, super humid, office gal drove right by us in golf cart. After she passed I muttered to myself - no thanks, don’t need a ride, I’m good. She never even looked at us. That’s a serious lack of customer service. I’m finding with a lot of marines now that they never offer any info. I.e. do you need a pump out? Here’s where you go if you do, here’s where trash bins are, do you need info about the area? As a transient-that’s all useful info. However they’re sure to give you a brochure about safe harbor membership, annual slip rentals etc. not info I even need. Docks need some maintenance, upright boards pull right off with very little effort. Electric comes and goes. Overall it was fine, we’re low key so don’t need any attention but trying to be honest so the marina can improve, wouldn’t take much.

Marina was clean and neat. Don’t expect any help, directions etc. made a reservation on line (no one answers phone even though message says their hours), you can leave a message but it’s hours before someone calls you back. Online they ask what time you’re arriving so someone will meet you. Nope. Don’t answer radio, don’t answer phone. So we just picked a spot. Marina is deserted, only 3-4 boats there. Someone finally calls several hours later (from my morning message) didn’t even know we were already docked. Gave us WiFi code (hardly a signal) asks if we need bathroom code. That’s it. Nothing about where to take trash if we have, do we need a pump out, info on area, zip. We’re pretty self sufficient so it wasn’t an issue but many folks need help and would be disappointed.

Steve (dockmaster) was great, very helpful, lots of suggestions on where to go, what to do. Nice area, easy bike ride to store, train station etc.
Great spot. Super nice people. They were concerned about a boat our size (55’ motor yacht) being on a mooring so they put us on the dock instead. Thank you!!
