Great marina in all respects.
For many reasons, this is one of our favorite stops on the ICW. We will be back.
This is a great little marina in the lovely town of Bellhaven NC. The folks are very helpful in all things, and we enjoyed the use of a golf cart. The 19th century manor house is beautiful, and the extensive grounds surrounding it are immaculate. The new owners, Larry and Gina, are making a lot of improvements to the entire property, including the marina and it shows. We will definitely stop here again.
SH Bluewater is great and Dave, the dockmaster, went above and beyond in fueling and in allowing us to overnight at the fuel dock for an early get-a-way next morning.
Our stay at SAYC was great in all respects. It is a very fine, upscale marina in lovely Eastport. Buddy and Remi were extremely helpful. We will make this our go to marina in the Annapolis area.
SH Capri is Five Star. It is always one of our favorite stops between Maine and the Keys.
My second review, same as the first! Very nice facility in a lovely location. Alyssa and Zach are most excellent and we plan to stop here again.
Excellent all around. We will definitely stop here again. This is one of our favorite marinas.
Great marina. Great location. And the service is great, e.g. our packages were delivered to us at the boat within ten minutes of arrival. Luke Dimillo is a hands on GM and he will promptly resolve any concerns. We’ll be back next summer for sure.
We reserved a mooring well in advance and when we arrived, the mooring ball was less than ten feet off the stern of a neighboring trawler. This was unsafe but the only alternative ball offered was in Long Cove a two mile distance from shore access. This was obviously unacceptable and we left the harbor to find another mooring ten miles away.
Excellent in all respects. We plan to stop again on our way back in a month. The marina is better than those over in town or way out by the YC. Good wi-fi, a new dinghy dock and green grass for the dogs. Perfect for us. And Ian is great. We had a situation and he helped us arrange a diver on a Saturday morning and our problem was solved. Above and beyond, really.
Excellent, well run facility with a great staff.
SH Marina Bay is a large, excellent facility with a great staff. Tyler, the GM, Mitchell, the dock master, and super mechanic Andrew are all outstanding.
Very nice harbor with great launch service from Oldport.
We stayed on a mooring ball and it was fine. The water taxi service was excellent, and their pilots were friendly and helpful.
Great location, obviously, and friendly people but wow, the condition of the docks is absolutely deplorable. One would think that $7 a foot would allow Liberty Landing to make some improvements.
The power pedestal at E-15 gave us a Reverse Polarity signal which caused us to disconnect for fear of harming our boat. This is not a marina for anyone that desires peace and quiet as it is QUITE the party scene with a live band 20 yards from our slip. On-shore amenities are negligible (trash receptacles, dog walking areas) and the wi-fi was poor.
SH Zahnisers is one of our favorite stops ... excellent in all respects.
This is a great marina in all respects, and we plan to stop here again. The docks are in great condition and the staff are very helpful. The laundry and bathrooms are clean, as is the laundry. There’s a well-stocked ships store and an excellent full-service repair facility on site with certified and competent mechanics. We’ve stayed at all of the local marinas in Beaufort and Town Creek is head and shoulders above the others.
Great marina in all respects: docks, facilities, location and management.
Homer Smith is a good marina, physically, but their policy re: cancellations and refunds is oppressive and corrupt in that the manager, Matt, claims a 48 hour notice period to receive a full refund even though a 24 hour period is shown on Dockwa. This bogus position was used - wrongfully and aggressively- to force me to pay for a day I did not use. The non-resolution of this issue was unpleasant and we will not stay there again.
