What a great 3 days we had. Nothing like 3 perfect, sunny days in Watch Hill in October. It hit 80 degrees! John, the Dockmaster at Watch Hill Docks was great. Very helpful and great conversations. Many of the shops on Bay St were closed, but enough open for my wife to buy a new bathing suit on sale! Uber’d to a great restaurant called Cinder and had a pizza delivered the second night. Great run out to Napatree point. A real gift to have 3 days like this in October.
Pleasant and helpful dock hands. Gets more expensive every year. $5 a foot, $6 bag of ice. But, not noisy. Sue is great. Luke is very helpful. Bathrooms have been done over. Still not the best but a huge improvement over past years!Great to have The Oar right there. We ate there three times! and a well stocked general/grocery store. And of course, what’s more beautiful than Block Island.
Great marina. Perfect location. We took the short ferry ride to Aquinnah and rode our bikes to Gay Head. Great museum. Can climb to the top of the lighthouse. Spent 2 hours at Philbin Beach. Perfect Sandy beach. Don’t miss Menemsha Galley. Great food at reasonable prices. Homeport restaurant good but very pricey. Overall one of our favorite boating destinations
How can you not like Cuttyhunk?! Love George, the Dockmaster, Police Chief and jack of all trades! We even got to see countless stars in the incredible, clear Cuttyhunk sky both nights. !It truly is a magical place. - Howlin’ Wolf
One of our favorite marinas. Great staff, very competent. The cleanest bathrooms of any marina and we’ve been to many. Great restaurant. Huge pool that’s always clean. They really have it together and we will be back! By the way, Terry in the office is awesome. Very helpful and accommodating.
Excellent marina. Beautiful setting nestled right in the middle of the Mystic Seaport Museum. Marina guests get free museum passes for your entire stay ($29 value each). Plenty of good restaurants. Easy docking. Greg the dock master is a great guy, very helpful and accommodating. Sparkling clean bathrooms and showers just for boaters.
Great Marina. Great location. Saybrook is a great area with lots to do. The marina is quiet with clean showers and a nice pool. Would definitely go back.
Clean, friendly, great location. One of our favorite destinations. Clean bathrooms. Great people. Will accommodate almost anything you ask. Rental smart cars, great pool, great bike riding. Rebecca couldn’t have been nicer.
Beautiful marina. Very nice to transient boaters. More amenities than any marina we’ve stayed at. Very clean. Plenty of restaurants. Overall a great place. Great Marina. Will return
This was a very spontaneous stop for us. I picked The Island Boatyard out of the MapTech book because our usual marina had no transient slips. Everyone was great. After booking 2 nights, due to weather we stayed 4 nights and they could not have been nicer. Megan, the manager, was awesome! We had a few really nice talks with her and you could tell her main obnjective was that we were well taken care of. Also Toby, who had just started, was very helpful. He shuttled us to and from the ferry so we could spend the afternoon in Greenport. 2 miles from Mashomack Reserve, which is beautiful for a nice hike. Plus, literally 200 feet from SALT, one of the best restaurants on SI. Highly recommended for location, services and staff. Thanks!
Great marina. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had a problem tripping the shore power pedestals but Alec was very persistent in solving the problem which he ultimately solved. Then he kept checking on us to make sure all was ok. Bathrooms were spotless. Clean showers. Very modern marina with a wonderful staff. Nice beach right there and commercial st is a 2 minute walk.
Parker’s definitely lives up to all the great reviews. Easy landing with plenty of help. Jesse, Patty and the others couldn’t have been more accommodating. Clean showers with great water pressure! Clean bathrooms. Complimentary bikes. Quiet. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Will return and definitely recommend. Thanks for a pleasant 3 days!
Considering the pandemic, it was fine. Same great place, just the usual pandemic restrictions. In town it was quiet but many places open and lot of curbside options for food. Quiet and peaceful.
Great Marina. Carla couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Great facilities. Ship store. Courtesy car to go get provisions. Pool. Short walk to Main St. Spotless bathrooms. All in all, a great place with great people and reasonable prices.
What a great marina. We were passing through from RI and stayed 2 nights. Bonnie and Bill were great hosts. Dock attendants, Marshall, Austin, Taylor and Jess could not have been nicer. Cleanest and nicest bathrooms I’ve seen at a marina with free toothpaste, razors, soap, shampoo. And get this, even a courtesy car to use anytime. They also arranged for some minor repairs on my boat while there with some very nice and accommodating mechanics. This is a standout marina. Not to mention the beautiful town of Rockland. Be sure to stay here if you’re in the area. Don’t miss the Wyeth Center in town at the Farnsworth Museum. Free on the first Friday of every month!
Beautiful marina. Our second visit. They really take pride in their business. Beautiful docks, easy access, piped in music at night, very secure and really nice people. Need to add extenders to their Wi-Fi, tho. Could not access it from my slip (K28)
Love this place. Bob, the owner, really knows how to take care of a transient boater. Great facilities. Great place for a run or bike along the water. Great restaurant with fresh fresh seafood most of which is caught by the fisherman at the marina. Overall one of our favorite places to go to.
They advertise a pool and a laundry and they have neither. The marina that does have those perks (Oyster Farm) will not let you use them unless you stay at their marina. Otherwise the head and showers were large and clean. They have block ice! And the quaint little town is .25 mi away.
Huge marina with impeccable views of the NYC skyline, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Fuel, pump out, restaurants, huge marina store and reasonably priced.
Very large but nice marina. Fred the manager, couldn’t have been nicer. Had a steering problem and he sent Antonio right down to investigate. Great stopoff in Barnegat Bay
