Ok, first off, we love staying at this marina. Staff is extremely well trained, courteous and very responsive. Facilities are spotless. However, a couple of things that could use tweaking: 1 .lights are out over both women's and men's heads. It's dangerous to negotiate the steps down from Buster Flats in the dark. We both nearly fell trying to step down. 2. We left the marina on foot around 5pm to walk into town. When we returned, the access code had been changed. Fortunately a member came by and helped. I suggest that you make sure any transients, like me, get an update on the code changes prior to implementing them. If I'd had to sleep outside the gate my review would have likely been worse. Otherwise, thanks for a nearly perfect visit!

For two days I tried to call the marina to adjust my schedule. Saturday and Sunday got only voicemail. When I arrived, no answer on Channel 9 or 68 as advertised and no answer on the phone - again - only voicemail. No dockside help, had to tie up unassisted. Finally got some help to refuel. Asked about a pump out but it is "broken". They asked if I had reserved a slip through Dockwa and I answered that I had and I had used the Dockwa messaging system to let the marina know I'd be in a day later. Blank looks all around. Later, I tried to get access codes and/or a Welcome Aboard package but got a back of the envelop (literally) note with the gate and head codes. Asked about WiFi and was told it was a joke. Tried it myself and it was useless. Overall shabbiness of the marina is discouraging and the two beleaguered staffers who obviously have no management help are demoralized beyond words. This marina will be lucky to continue in business. Really, no VHF comms and no telephone with an office CLOSED on Saturday and Sunday?? Sure, no one boats on the weekends! I won't be back.

First class dock facilities. I'm guessing some future infrastructure (an office close by, VHF comms, better wifi)) are planned?? Love to return as Belfast is a gem!!

Dense fog on arrival coupled with some vague directions to us first time visitors made for some tense work. Boat girl apologized profusely and worked hard to overcome our initial impressions. Would come back to a beautiful place, especially without the fog!

Hard to get too excited about marinas these days. SHZ does a good job but the pandemic seems to color everything - shorter hours, fewer staff, closed bars, restaurants, etc. Nice place but hard to be enthusiastic....

Great yacht club. We really didn't explore as we were leaving at the crack of dawn. Some confusion initially as what slip but we got everything sorted out.

Great help once they could get to me. Very busy day for them but they were terrific! 8/2/19: Great, well trained dock staff, took great care of us! Maybe there are cheaper alternatives, but I'll stick with the positive performers!

Can't say enough about how responsive Howie, Sebastian, and the entire staff have been. From finding a way for us to stay an extra day to providing a booster to overcome Boston electrical "brownout " issues, these folks can't do enough. Definitely coming back!
