They were terrific. Everyone was kind and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The laundry is great and reasonably priced. We were there two months this year and really got to know people. It’s like an extended Marina family. There are some things that need repair…the pool is aging…the dock repair is ongoing. Overall we love it here and will miss our Marina family over the winter!
We wanted to go see fort Warren yet crazy enough there is no dinghy dock here. The only option is to bring your dinghy up on the beach and we had to ask for special permission to do so. Pretty ridiculous when you have large boats from the city docking constantly.
It’s fine for a night and I do appreciate these moorings. People just need to know it is very bouncy and there are no facilities available. Price should be back to $20 as nothin other than the mooring is provided.
It was fine. Onset is such a beautiful place!
Menemsha is awesome...so pretty. Not a place to provision but they do have great seafood available. They also have showers with HOT water!
Lovely facilities and well kept except they have only one shower (it’s wonderful) and only 1 washer/dryer (it’s free!). It’s a busy Marina so this is not adequate. Also be prepared...it is a lumpy/rolly place...the lobster boats have no problem throwing a big wake early in the morning. They do bring fresh blueberry muffins and coffee to your boat every morning and the muffins are truly special! There just isn’t much near Harpswell to do but it is a lovely property.
We were on a mooring yet we were treated just as well as if we were spending much more money on a dock. They have a really nice gathering area with great patio furniture, outdoor fireplaces and a great view. The lounge area and restrooms were superb and they even supply you with great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The water was hot and the water pressure was terrific. We got to use a courtesy vehicle to stock up on groceries at the nearby Hannafords and everyone was professional, kind, and friendly. And Camden is awesome!
They were super nice and accommodating when we arrived but (and no fault of their own) there are boats and ferries out as early as 3 am so it is very Ricky early in the am making sleep next to impossible. In addition they ran out of toilet paper in two of the 3 bathrooms ( no excuse for this) telling me the bathrooms were not getting clean. The washer and dryer are free but the dryer didn’t actually dry, requiring us to schlepp our wet laundry into town to dry it. Letting us know it didn’t work would have been better. In addition before we went to leave we called about getting fuel, water, and pumpout but the dock was occupied (for “ probably several hours”) by boats having work done. They should not block the fuel, water, and pumpout dock like this. I would not stay there again, I would try another marina closer into town.
Lovely views, convenient dinghy dock. Big supermarket only 0.7 miles away. Showers and bathrooms nice and clean enough. Super nice people and a great place! Very short walk or dinghy ride into the heart of Boothbay.
Moorings are fine, location is beautiful but nobody answered our inquiries and we were unable to access the facilities because we were not given information about how to get in, despite calling and messaging them on Dockwa.
Love the location of this marina and the service is terrific. Just two minor complaints: dinghies that are not being actively used (ie have 6-8” of water in them) need to be moved further down the dock to make space for actively used dinghies. And having a dryer in each bathroom stall would be nice. The place is clean, well kept and right in the heart of Boston. It is a little bouncy during the day but quiets right down at night.
