Lots of boater amenities here. Newer docks, clean and updated showers with a lovely pool and 3 restaurants with a few more a short walk away. But the most impressive feature of SH Harborage YC is the helpfulness of the staff. Dock Master, Kat, and her staff take extra good care of you. They assign a slip that works for you and help you in safely no matter what the conditions. Dock hands anticipate your needs and familiarize you with the facility. And it’s all done with a smile. January 28, 2025 Fabulous dock staff! We needed new batteries and Ryan assisted us in getting them to the boat and returning the old cores! Above and beyond what is expected! Christian made sure we had a great slip for this big girl with no bow thruster! And Dakota guided the whole process. A great team. Thank you so much!! April 25-28, 2024 Safe Harbor hires the best people who give great service and go out of their way to be helpful. Thank you, to all of the Marina staff! And they have the best price on fuel!! Jan 24-25, 2024 Ken, and all of the dock hands, who tied us up for the night were fabulous. And Ken helped us off the dock when departing as the wind was pushing May 5, 2022. We received wonderful support and kindness. We had two lovely dock hands help us in and then insecure us as we landed. Showers were immaculate, always a plus. New large laundry. All questions were answered by the staff with a smile. Thank you very much!
Fiddlers Cove is nicely tucked in from Buzzards Bay. It’s an idyllic spot with a beautiful large clubhouse. Many nice clean showers and a kitchen plus outside grills. And plenty of comfortable chairs. Thank you for a lovely stay.
September 10,2024 Although we only had a short one night stay, we enjoyed it immensely. Safe Harbor Onset is a lovely location after transiting the Cape Cod Canal. The staff in the facilities are awesome. You’ll enjoy your stay. September 2023 Our annual stop at Onset. Always a pleasure. They treat us like family. New boaters lounge is being built for 2024! Overall, great staff and facilities! July 2022 the Dock Master, helped us land our 34ft sailboat with an opposing wind. After fueling up, watering up and pumping out, we decided to stay in a slip for a few nights to wait out the upcoming storm. Again The staff assisted us docking into the slip, and tie ing our lines for the expected blow. Thank you for wonderful service!! Also the marina facilities are top notch and very clean. We will be back next year. The above is my comment from a few years ago. The service and the friendliness of Onset continues. They are such lovely people and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay at a well cared for Marina. I even got my laundry done! September 14-16, 2021 Every year we thoroughly enjoy our time at this marina. Roland, the dockmaster has always been very helpful. And the people on the dock have been great about handling lines and getting us in safely. This is a clean, well run marina. September 2024 We had another great visit to Sunset Bay. This time the winds blew over 30, but we were very safe inside the wave attenuator. Again the dock hands expertly assisted us to land and to depart. And the food was great at the restaurant. Thank you for everything!! August 2024 Again we had a great stay at Sunset Bay. The location is lovely and the new showers fabulous. However, it’s the staff that truly makes this marina great. Many thanks. August 2023. Each year we make Sunset Bay a stop on our journey north. The marina is now first rate with fabulous new rest rooms to complete its welcoming and professional staff. Also, the restaurant has continued to improve so the food is now as good as the ambience. 2024 We visited over Labor Day so we were invited to the Marina’s party. Good food with great music. Upon arrival at the Marina, we were assisted by 2 young women dock hands, who expertly tied Élan to the dock. Ally, the Dock Master, is training them well! Ally’s care of the marina and staff is reflected in all that she does. Thank you for a nice stay. Hope to see you in 2024. 2023. Marina staff and dock hands continue to be helpful and very accommodating. Location is great as we visited the Peabody Essex Museum and several good restaurants. 2022. Again we had a lovely enjoyable stay. Same lovely place. 2021. Helpful staff, good dock hands! Friendly place. Very clean showers. Outside picnic area with grills. Great location to explore Salem. Wonderful block ice! Visited again a week later. Same great experience!!
August 2024 Another delightful visit to Great Island. Dock hands professionally tied us up at the fuel dock and then in our slip. The marina is well maintained and updated. Office staff were very welcoming too. Also, there’s a good restaurant on site that’s reasonably priced. Thank you for a great stay. 2022. Well maintained facility. Helpful staff. It is a lovely well-kept and staffed Marina with three very nice restaurants. The property is kept very clean. However, the nicest part are the dock, hands and wait staff!! They treat the customers very well. They are professional and friendly. Thank you so much. Hope to see you again soon!!

Lovely yacht club with friendly members. We enjoyed one night on a safe mooring and had a delicious dinner at the clubhouse. We hope to return later this summer.
A small marina in a lovely village of Wickford, 1 mile away. Helpful dock hands and a very clean, well kept marina.because Safe Harbor has Two locations, make sure you understand which one you are going to.

Sept 21, 2022 we stayed in a slip this time and enjoyed that. It’s nice to easily walk to the club and town. Excellent showers and helpful, friendly staff. Thank you. 2020 Each year for at least 5 years, we visit NBYC. Always pleasant. Lovely facility, excellent launch drivers as we typically are on a mooring. Also great home made ice cream near the bridge. See you next year.

2023. We couldn’t find a town mooring as the wind was strong so we ended up on a private mooring. We notified the harbor master. Stayed the night. Safe and sound. Thanks. 2022. Only 4 stars as there are limited facilities. Nice mooring field with large pennants. Very quiet night. Can be rolly during the day due to wakes on the River. We will return. Thanks.

Mooring in the Inner Harbor was perfect with easy access to town. Friendly and helpful launch service. Would be a 5 star, except the showers were closed.
